I’ve worn this shoe every day for the last year for work. I’m on my feet all day. It’s the most comfortable I’ve owned and I’ve owned the previous version. I don’t have trouble putting my shoe on nor does the heel get caught on stairs. The boost foam on this shoe has the right amount of bounce and firmness.
oooh, all these uninformed fanbois...I hate when people say it's the most comfortable shoe, because it's clearly not! They're coming from shoes that feel like bricks, like the AF1 or Vans. Nike's ZoomX, Nike Lunarlon, New Balance Fresh Foam X, and even Adidas Bounce is better than Boost for comfort. What Boost really wins in is the durability.
My major gripe with the ultraboost 22 is the upper. It's like slipping your foot into a neoprene sleeve and then it seems to compress your foot making it very uncomfortable and I wish more reviews stated this.
I've run 3 marathons in them since they were bought, didn't find any of those issues u mentioned, the only thing I had trouble with was the first week of using them, they are way to narrow so u need to stretch them a bit if u have a wide feet before running on them
Nah, the point of the video is these are the cons, there’s another with the pros. Overall, he likes the shoe but a good review needs to have pros and cons
From what i heard the 22 is softer than the 21. Its denser and more stable than previous ones which offers more support but not as comfortable for walking because it doesn’t have too much of that foam feel.
I like the way UB 22 midsole feels because they are more firm and supportive and thus I can can wear it all day without foot fatigue. When you wear DNA all day your feet feel fatigued because your feet are subtly straining to keep you stable due to the mushiness. That being said, UB22 has a big flaw which makes it unwearable for me. The back of the heel collar is so weird, it's like there's a rigid hard plastic which clasps onto your achilles. Ruins the shoe.
Love UB! I used it for running.. UB19 & UB20 is the best for running. UB21 & UB22 has different built. Not comfortable as previous version.. Earlier version of UB (1.0,3.0) the best looking UB for casual and daily use.
Had 2 pairs of the UB 22 cold.rdy. They fit well but started to break down after just a few months of casual wear. The Continental rubber sole tends to peel away from the boost midsole, and the upper sidewall starts to separate from the boost as well. Dont know if it's poor manufacturing or if they're just not good for anything other than running. Some running shoes just can't handle casual wear and tear.
NB 1080 are definitely better all around sneakers, having owned multiple pairs of UltraBoost and Yeezy Boost I think the NB are my new go to for every day use
The 1080 and 880 with fresh foam are superb. I recommend them to my sisters like i did with the UB before and planning to get one for myself. I don't really like the design of the new UB.
I was just bouta say, if y’all like this then u will love anything NB has with Fresh Foam. The More is one of the squishiest shoes out rn lmao, def worth a try on. Also the 1080v12 has a one piece upper vs the separate heel. It’s ironic that adidas would make the newer model that way, but the previous 1080 models had that same design and they went back to a one-piece upper for durability for v12. Adidas basically going backwards lol
The problem for Adidas boost soled shoes for me has always the unbalanced feel of the sole back to front. Too much cushion in the rear and not enough in the forefoot
If you want Boost tech but done better in a shoe with better foot drop, try a Saucony with the Power Run Plus midsole. They also look aesthetically good on foot.
UB22 are VERY easy to put on (even with the laces done), as the material from the upper is flexible. Never had an issues with stairs either... As for comfort, I walk 16/18k steps a day, and I can honestly say the cushioning is just right 👌
Had these since march, my only issue is the bulkiness of the heel midsole. You sometimes need to put your feet forward if the underside of your seat is solid and the line catches dirt easily. That line isn't very easy to clean even with a harder bristled brush. The bulkiness is not much of a problem unless you have to fit into tight spaces like standing in a train.
They’re comfortable initially but not meant for all day wear. The chunky heel begins to hurt the bottom heel after a while. Definitely just meant for running only and not casual.
The upper easily tore if is met with any kind of abrasion, and yes going down steps was a nightmare, easily wrecked just as I was trying to get used to them.
I slept in boost, I love Adidas but a lot of the boost they were droppin , I can’t do em shoes with gadgets , found a pair I like tho and lemme tell you , I mostly wear New Balance, Saucony is comfortable ,way more comfortable than Nike , Altria another brand of Trail runners super comfortable but I copped a pair of Olive n black NMDs and sum 22 jetboost! I have been on a quest to find the most comfortable shoe that supports me through a 10 hour work day. Nearly every article/blog had the ultraboost near the top. Reading through Reddit post you would think these shoes were sent from above. Without hesitation I got a pair and I must be the only person on Earth that isn’t impressed. For one, the cuff at the ankle, although flexible, still feels like it’s reducing blood flow to my foot. I decided to take the shoe laces completely off thinking that would help and it hasn’t. At work I’ve taken these shoes off to put my steel toes on and feel more comfortable in the steel toes. I’m hoping that they just aren’t broken in yet and will stretch out soon.
Had these exact shoes, black 2022 ultraboosts and they lasted me around 1,5 years but had to throw them to the bin. Now I have the 2022 Ultraboost Cold&Dry in a Dark blue/neon green accents colorway and I have had them for half a year now. Never been washed and still staying very clean, very long lasting shoes after all💪💪 these 3 cons are actually factual but I have still enjoyed the shoes. Best shoes I have ever owned
I bought my ultra boost 1.0 in 2019 use it for running walking gym and till this day I still have them they haven’t ripped the cushion is still bounces. The only thing that has wasted away is the continental rubber.

I always thought that the boost material was the most comfy til I tried NB's fuel cell and Puma's Nitro foams. Way lighter and more comfy than boost. Lightstrike pro from Adidas is even more comfy than its own Boost. 😅
DNA ultraboost more of a casual shoe I’ve worn the 22 as my main running shoe and it is a good performer more of a performance shoe still very comfortable but more for performance long distance running
The old ones were slimmer, and it didn't look good when I tried them on, because I was big at the time. Didn't feel like I could pull them off. The news ones look great though, especially with the denser foam.

@@BillyVisuals as an adidas employee, I can confirm that the ankle piece of the now “DNA” models is the main reason people don’t buy them after trying them on because they struggled to even put it on or just couldn’t at all.
The new Asics nimbus shoes put Adidas and Nikes very best in most comfortable shoes to shame. She try a pair on side by side with the Asics nimbus on one foot and the Nike or Adidas on the other, and I think you'll agree that Nike and adidas should be embarrassed
The boost that i like is the 1st generation where is so soft and super comfy. Now boost generation stiff and ruin the comfy and bouncy that 1st generation had

Anyone else have a problem cleaning the material on some of adidas's new shoes? That bubble design near the bottom of the shoes is impossible to clean.
4.0s are way better I’ve had both and after walking every day for three months the 22’s rubber was already starting to wear out when my 4.0s from 2 years ago show no sign of being done soon
If there’s a major issue with the ultra boost 22 it’s the price. $190 is just stupid. You can buy plated and higher performance shoes for $20-$30 less.
