@@kaisersoze9880 hunting girl was one of the first songs we covered. Just browse out channel! The drummer is Marco Fabbri from Italy! A crazy guy! We love him!
Wow! Did enjoy it. One of those songs that you can sing along and interpret many ways. And it takes me back to those right out of high school days, when this album came out. Thanks for keeping Ian's music right out in front.
As a long time Tull fan, I guess I'm allowed to have an opinion. I've never really understood this song, as it attempts to combine heavy metal, screaming and crying guitars, mixed with the classic Tull minstrel sound. I've always felt that they don't really belong in the same song. With all the interesting music on SFTW, I'm surprised you picked this song to cover. Meanwhile, there's no doubt that you did extremely well with your cover. I love what your band is doing. Hats off to your keyboard player on this one. And there is no doubt in my mind that IA could no longer handle the vocals, so thank you, Old Grey Mouse for this performance. Top Notch!
Hi Marie. We tend to chose the most difficult songs from JT once in a while. This one is tricky and complicated. I have to confess we were exhausted for such cover. We already did Hunting Girl, Velvet Green and SFTW from this album. We plan to cover The Whistle in the future. Now we are going to cover an easiest one from Crest of a Knave album: surprise!!! Thanks for supporting us with such a great comments!!
A pibroch. Is a scottish bagpipe theme of very difficult variations and normally is played for a funeral. The guitar tries to match the stinging or ringing of the bagpipes! Its a mournful piece where the bagpipes go off course but a in a particular theme. Opinion only. Lol
One of the most genial and difficult tull's songs. Wonderful!
Thanks, Gianfranco!
Wow great job guys!!! And thanks once again..Nailed it!!!
