    That's how I started my business. Everyone doubted me. My own family doubted me. I started off in Hardwood flooring and tile with my dad. When I found out about epoxy and it's BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS designs you can make, I immediately fell in love with it. I started doing epoxy countertops then once I had enough money, I invested in epoxy flooring. Man! I LOVE MY JOB!

    • @CountertopEpoxy

      Yes you can, if you sand later it will lose the high gloss finish though. It'll be more of a satin/matte after sanding and buffing.

    • @krehbein
      @krehbein 5 лет назад +4

      @statorworks 345 I would use buffing compounds made for cars. They take out smaller scratches in a cars clearcoat, restoring it to a shiny finish. I'm not an epoxy guy, just guessing if it works on clearcoat it will work on epoxy! One site is autogeek.net that both sells products and has really good forums to learn from.

    • @Colaaah
      @Colaaah 6 лет назад +3

      I highly doubt (with similar experience) that, that was the finished effect. The finished effect would come out very simular everywhere. I looks like (at that spot mentioned) that he had done all of his colours, but only lightly trowled in one direction at that stage on that part.
      I'm sure he would finish the whole job with a very close pattern all over. I'm sure he would of still needed to lightly trowel a few times in different directions and most likely did some more heat treating for bubbles and the finished with one or two coats of clear epoxy.
      One thing I've always hated as a tradesman is doing a job an ppl picking at things before the jobs done. I'd tell them politely to let me finish and then please tell me anything you aren't happy with.
      They don't end up with many negative remarks in the end lol

  • @miriamtaylor9896

    Would you be able to do the same effect on the kitchen cabinets also? How would you approach that? Would every door have to be taken off? Thanks a lot...Love this finish!👏👏

    Now while I love this process and results, I would never doubt the long durability of real stone.
    This won't have nearly the same durability and hope people consider this when choosing.

      The biggest problem is going to be when the resin starts to crack , knife cuts stress cracks stains . Delimitation .

    Wow this is fantastic! I pray my table comes out this good. Is there anyway for me to do this on the dinning room legs? Can I just paint it on?
