    Who hangs the brake caliper from the brake line, not good.

    • @change929
      @change929 3 года назад +3

      why not? these calipers weigh nothing and that is a poly coated stainless steel line...

    • @vanblindguy4600
      @vanblindguy4600 2 года назад

      Old school automotive rubber lines with big heavy Auto calipers YES do not hang. Stainless lines plus ultra light UTV calipers probably a non-issue. But could certainly tie up just to be safe but probably not critical.

    It would sure be helpful if you would give torque specs for all fasteners!

    • @SuperATVMedia
      @SuperATVMedia  Год назад

      These will be torqued to factory specs as you are reusing factory hardware. If you have questions on a particular piece, give us a call and we can help! 855.743.3427.

      @@SuperATVMedia These A Arms come with your heavy duty tie rods, that use a new tapered stud to attach the tie rod end to the steering knuckle. So this is entirely different than the factory hardware and should come with its own torque spec.

    Wat happens if you dont put the steering stop?

    • @SuperATVMedia
      @SuperATVMedia  7 месяцев назад

      These arms add angle to your tie rods and axles. We add in steering stops to prevent oversteering and potentially pulling/damaging the tie rod or axle.

    My kit did not come with castle nuts for the knuckle side of the tie rod end as shown in this video. The tapered stud has holes for the included cotter pins, but instead of castle nuts, they included nylock nuts. I need you to send me the proper castle nuts.

    The lower arms are adjustable and the lock nut/bushing ends comes loose in the box. Is there some sort of adjustment that needs to be made? I've watched several of these videos outside of my machine and none seem to cover this???

    Is it bad to not put the steering stopper in? I’m running a 32” tire on a rzr xp 4 and it’s already hard to turn around at times. Seems like that would just make it harder.

    • @SuperATVMedia
      @SuperATVMedia  Год назад

      You will just need 1 on each side to keep your steering even and to prevent damage from oversteering.

      The rods in this video are about 16". The RZR Turbo S tie rods are 19.5", if that would work. Here's a link to that kit: www.superatv.com/polaris-rzr-xp-turbo-s-heavy-duty-tie-rod-kit

    What’s the purpose of moving the wheels forward? And dose this change the steering geometry?

    2019 xp turbo dynamix and just installed these a arms, noticed the steering stop went in on the drivers side but when I removed the boot on the passenger side the steering shaft was much bigger that the drivers side and the steering stop didn’t fit on the shaft. Is this common?

    This guy my not be 100% camera ready and that's ok, but when he doesn't know which way to hold a pair of Channel Locks, and lets the brake caliper just dangle, etc. - it shows a lack of mechanical experience. There is also no reason to remove the axles when doing this project. (A machine with a few miles on it won't come apart as easily as this new machine did.) Don't fight something that doesn't need to be touched. It's a pretty simple project, but I did want to see someone else do it before I did mine. Overall, I'm happy with the SuperATV arms and ball joints that I installed on my 2021 RZR Turbo.
