Im so glad to see new music from them going out at quicker pace with the years. Still remember listening to high viceral pt.1 when it came out completly high and being like, "yep, this band is awesome and now one of my fav band now". Uh... listen I want to stay neutral while saying this, but I don't like KGLW specifically because they can't write good songs. These newer albums they're making are just like what happened to king buffalo. They got popular and now they just don't write as good as they use to. Think about it, they have released shyga and these 3 singles, and do you really think they even complete with Denmark and found God in a tomato (which were on the same amazing album)?

Hate people that compare this to KGLW because I’m my opinion they’re almost nothing alike. This is so amazingly different to anything else I’ve ever heard, KGLW included

3:13 this solo is so damn good, the music video is great, but everytime this solo hits I imagine a big boss creature thing being like electrocuted to death, it's eyeballs popping like bursting light bulbs

amazing ... once in a while a sound comes riding the airwaves that is unmistakeable... ppc have smashed it ... every album is uniquely theirs ... but somehow they get better and better while staying exactly as they were on day one

they haven't made a single bad release. i have to admit i wasn't amazed with shyga when it came out but i've been exploring it more recently and i've had it on repeat. even the b-sides record has a nice unique feel to it. i genuinely love this band.
@@raccoonavi dude same, and like when I first heard found god in a tomato a few years back it didnt do much for me, but after hearing it come on a couple more times I was just hooked, like I was suddenly enlightened, and I poured into their discography and fell in love with their sound, they are my favorite band still making music.

These guys are seriously great. I wish they had been around in the 90s because they would have been world famous, and unfortunately it's wasted on this era. They keep getting compared to King Gizz but that's unfair, both because it's done by default and because the Crumpets are strong enough in their own right to be talked about without comparison. And they're evolving in a really good way. I love the sneaky Radiohead-esque chords in the bridge around 2:40 - not necessarily a new level of complexity or sophistication, but it's in a direction they wouldn't have gone on previous records. They're sustaining a continuous, reliable output of really solid music, and I think they're going to do it for a very long time (at least I sure hope so).

Shyga! was my favourite album this year. Hands down. This is a very nice frosting to put on their 2021. Whomever produced this slice brings out some serious fuzz. Bless these folks for this music.

@Notmy Realname No I love KGLW, but their sound is very different. It's hard to find bands that go into that heavy rock sound without going too far into metal.

I'm glad these guys are getting better as time goes on. My main issue with this band is that the songs got very samey on their older stuff; and it seems they are taking the time to make each song more individual while still keeping that awesome sound. Keep it up!
