- Hawkeye sophomore Hannah Stuelke broke the Carver-Hawkeye Arena scoring record on Thursday night.
Caitlin Clark scores 27 points, and Iowa wins its 9th in a row against Penn State.

CC showed what a great team player she is. When everyone realized what a game Stuelke was having, CC fed her the ball all night. When you can score 27 points yourself and still dish out 15 assists, you are a team player.
I noticed you glossed over the bad shooting night & 12 turnovers. Caitlin is awesome & a phenomenal player, but let’s call it as it is.
@@brianmchugh3757 You forget she's double and triple teamed all game, and some of her teammates can't handle her quick passes. And yet she still gets it done. 27 pts. + 15 dimes = 57 pts. Not too bad, huh?

C.C. was a great example of showing a hallmark of true leadership on the court and recognizing, in the moment that when her shooting was off, that “it it is better to create another star than try to be the star”! She found H.S. To do just that. Amazing to watch their team dynamics.
Iowa was a terrific smooth teamwork crew. Great synergy.

been waiting for Hannah to breakout -she has game, I wish she'd not take a dribble(s) when she's low in paint-just put it up.... a team like So. Car. will block that extra dribble/shot.

Stuelke shows that Iowa even with losing three+ big players to graduation & life after college Iowa Women's basketball & Iowa basketball in general will still be in great talented hands & I couldn't be happier for her or the rest of the team who will continue the history I'm sure next season.

Hannah has wheels. And she catches everything. Saw it earlier in the season. With the rest of the women hammering the defensive boards, Hanneh is just taking off. Half court she presents a big target in lane which makes her real easy to find.
"Big target in the lane"...Just like Boston. Those two look about the same size and they play like two big German Shepherds. Then there are the big shooters like Kelsey Mitchell and Kate Morgan. The Fever is full of excellent players.
Seems like a great girl happy to see her happy great fit on that Team

I am sorry. Yes I love Hannah. She is an athletic beast. She is a women's basketball player's wet dream. I hate to take anything away from Hannah, she was getting it done. But this just shows what an amazing point guard CC22 is.
Is 15 assists not a record in it's own. Wow girl. I love that she recognizes the game so well and goes for the win even if it means she doesn't get the scoring high. She is in it for the win for the team?! I love this b-ball team so well. They are do focused on winning and owning the court.

Let's be honest Hannah scored that many points cause of Catlin Clark backed off her game and assisted Hannah with her scoring.

This shows the problems that happen when you try to shut down Clark. The others get the points. It is a team defense strategy that is needed and no one has found so far.
she actually stopped shooting so she can get the record at home. It's a no brainer. They will pull her against Nebraska if she get close and they have a big lead. Watch.

I'm not sure Hannah can get triple dubs with 3 point shooting but getting rebounds and dimes she can get that double easily and that's big contributions almost every game.

If she’s getting position and hitting the shots, what’s the problem?
Plus she should be rewarded for running the floor if she’s finishing the play with points.
Having her establish herself in post and transition will only open up the court more for other Hawkeye scorers, too.
I have no problem with it. I’ve been waiting a long time for Hannah to break out. I don’t see her scoring 20+ with any regularity until she develops her overall game. I hope she can keep up the solid play.
Saying "spoon fed" shows a lack of understanding of her play. She does 90% of her work before she even gets the ball. Watch her work to get position in the post or outrun everyone down the court. She had a great game
