When I saw the spoiler of the spirit called Abuelo I was really skeptical But reading "he has fractured memories, remembering being called abuelo" made me sad, only knowing that of himself in this ghost form.
This chapter reminds me of my oldest disappointment with this plane. We still haven't seen/met the vampire queen that rules the Legion. Something just tells me that's gonna be fixed next time we visit Ixalan As for Kellan I'm having a hard time accepting his existence given who his father is. How bothersome
Hmm idk where the story is going i think ashiok was a missed opportunity. I was at least right about the good guys. I was completely wrong on every front about the villains
Hate to be a language nitpicker but it kinda bugs me that the Orazcans use the Spanish word "abuelo" when they're clearly based off pre-colonial indigenous peoples. Like at least use Nahuatl or something.
Agree. It makes more sense to use other language. In nahuatl they could've used: Koli/colli (koh-li) for grandfather. Or huehue (oo-eh-oo-eh) for old man.

This story is playing out in a really fun way, definitely enjoying the lore behind this set far more than some of the previous ones this year.
I’m happy to see this plane again
Me too. It’s so much fun
cordyceps fungus anyone?
Very similar 👀
@@AetherHub whelp better get to running
Yes please.
Cordyceps but smart
FUNGOSAURUSES! YES!
Exactly my thought!!!
For those not reading the stories themselves the infested pirates saying 'they're fine' was creepy in story since they all answered him in unison.
Can’t wait for the slivers to come to Ixalan and start adapting

maybe she will be in a commander deck as alternative commander?
Yeah Kellan
This shows that even Malcem can be scared shittless by the last of us.
Toad from Mario aint messing around anymore
We gonna get some more fun(gus) cards maybe!!!
Thanks for this.
I am surprised the vampires were not hostile against Kallen.

It's not that bad of a story. I was waiting for someone to say OH NO! We got fungus amung us though. 🤣
Your pronunciation of Bartolomé hurts me. lol.
You know elephants are afraid of rodents? I played against a lot of rat decks, just saying...
BartolomÉ
a crime to call quintorius quin.
