    Hello,
My name is George, I'm a coast guard officer in Greece and my home is on the beautiful island of Crete. Greece is very safe country with very kindly and polite people!! So don't be afraid to actualize a free camping at the neture. Besides this is the beauty of motorhome!!

    Thanks for sharing your trips.
    Sadly, rainy weather at Halkidiki....
You have to explore, so many scenic beaches( 94 Blue Flag Awarded Beaches for 2023), tiny islands, beautiful landscapes, outdoor activities, ancient sites, e.t.c.....
The most beautiful legs(Halkidiki Peninsula) welcomes beautiful people....
    Wish you, to explore it...!!!

I am glad you have enjoyed our vlog 😀
Halkidiki was very beautiful, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time there. Definitely a place we would like to visit again in the future.

Very enjoyable, I watched the whole series. I'm a Scotsman living on the Greek island of Rhodes. Keep going, life is for living.

Just discovered your vlogs, we are due to go to the Peloponnese in September via Venice ferry to Igoumentsia and then on to Meteora and then head south. Your vlogs have so much information which I will be using in my planning. We also have a scooter which is invaluable. Looking forward to more of your adventures. Debbie

Thank you Debbie, taking the ferry from Venice to Igoumentsia will be great. We are planning to do another video with more of the logistics involved with this trip. Watch out for that 😀

Was in Greece 2019. It snowed in Athens two week before I arrived in my MotorHome . Will be going again someday.

Just watched your Greece vlogs, fantastic viewing, great locations, great food and little bill came in very handy getting you both to the hard to get places, pretty much done the same route from Croatia to the uk and you captured it very well, all the best 👍.

Thank you so much Stephen. Sounds like you also have a motorhome? We really enjoyed this trip, one of our favourites so far. Having Little Bill was great for the short rides around town. Warm wishes 😀

Hi. My husband and I have just binge watched (over 2 evenings) all the episodes of this trip! Really enjoyed it and immediately subscribed and looking forward to watching others . A Q pls. We have a similar van to you - what scooter do you have (make/model). Do you need to do anything to the bike to get it in and out (wing mirrors?) of the garage. We saw on one video you have a ramp - is it easy to get the bike in and out of the van? Do you show on any of your vids getting the bike in and out of the van? we are interested to see how easy (or otherwise) it might be.

Hi, so glad you enjoyed the vlogs, we loved that trip. The scooter is a Honda SH Mode 125, which we chose because it is only 116kg and has more power than some of the slightly lighter 110cc scooters. We are very happy with it, perfect for all the local trips and bowls along happily at 50mph with both us us on there. We added the top box so we can lock both helmets away when we arrive and it’s very useful, and I feel more secure with something behind me ( not that I’ll ever fly off the back under the acceleration lol). We do have to remove the mirrors to put it in the van garage but that’s very quick and easy. It is easy to get in and out up the ramp, the only exception is if the ground is uneven, maybe with a chock under the ramp side rear wheel and instead of wheeling it up to the height of the garage floor you’re wheeling it up to garage floor plus a foot. But that only catches you out the first time, then you know to drive off the chocks before putting the scooter away. The scooter was a game changer and we love it. We didn’t take it to Norway this summer because you can pretty much take the van anywhere there, but in Southern Europe or the UK with tiny roads and no parking in quaint little places, it’s brilliant. Hope that helps, and happy travels. PS please just ask if you have any follow up questions.

Enjoyed your Greece Vlog . We are planning a very similar trip in May this year. Our Motorhome is over 3.5 ton and we were wondering how you managed the toll system in Bulgaria?

    • @travellerinterrupted2519
      @travellerinterrupted2519  Год назад +1

Hi, we used this site to buy our vignette online, www.bgtoll.bg/en/ … we are also over 3.5 t but have to confess as we were just passing through we blagged it and got one for less than 3.5t hoping if we were pulled up we could plead ignorance and point to the unladen weight on our V5. Did the same for Austria 🥺 as we only drove straight through in an hour or so.
