Immortal Hearts Alright. Please bear in mind that I am not an editor myself, so these are essentially just thoughts from an average viewer.
I think it was an interesting song choice, but I'm not quite sure it fits as well with the overall content. The heroes aren't exactly renegades, so to speak. It is a good song, though.
The editing was really nice at the beginning with the "dadadada" parts, but the rest of the video "failed" to tell a story, at least from my perspective. It was just sort of utilizing what little content there is in little bursts/segments (sorry, hope that makes sense).
That actually brings me to the source content. The KH games always have such beautifully animated opening and ending cutscenes. Unfortunately, they're sort of limited in how they can be used. In other words, there isn't much usable content. Odd, seeing as there are more than 10 games in the series now, but I digress. I'm not sure if it would look better or worse, but you might see about incorporating some of the in-game cutscenes into the video as well, as that would allow for more to be done. (Though, if you did that, you'd definitely want to use the HD remake content.)
I think that's about all I have, though I probably should have written this down when I watched it so I could capture everything I wanted to say. I hope I've written more constructive criticism than actual criticism, otherwise I come across looking pretty mean, and no one wants that.

Okay, then about your points:
Song: I picked this song because I just like it xD I wanted to make a KH video with that one, and didn't really care about the lyrics to be honest. I just wanted the scenes to fit the music.
"Story": In this particular GMV I didn't try to tell a story. The pacing of the song is quite fast imo, and I prefer to use the CGI scenes then (meaning the opening/ending cutscenes). And like you said, they're quite limited, so telling a story with only them isn't really possible.
I'm not sure if you know, but I've made a lot more KH GMVs :) And in most of them I use in-game cutscenes, and tell a story (well at least I try my best to do so.)
