I don’t understand how the general consensus in the community is: if you pick Bastion you’re trolling; yet somehow nobody thinks he deserves a buff. It make zero sense is he a troll pick or is he a viable character who’s balanced, because he can’t be both.

@@pisti0311 i am a new player (i play since like 3 days) and there came a window to enter phone number on the first day i played but i could just close it, i never entered a number. i heard they changed it again cause people complained, cause not everyone have a phone number with a contract.
Torbjorns double overload bug is still in the game too, if you cast overload, then with 1 second remaining hold down the button for the entire last second you get it again.
I feel like this actually might be a PVE ability for bastion in his tech tree, and maybe just got crossed over into PVP. But still super funny and want to try 😂
@@bluelemonade415 Yeah PVE (player versus entity) this game mode style has been in development for three years now and their main focus for Overwatch 2 was going to be on campaign driven game play. So In my opinion bastion probably has an ultimate in the campaign mode that allows him to spam mortars everywhere, therefore meaning hypothetically that ability could have been patched into overwatch2 PVP mode on accident.
Even with the bug, his ult just seems like trash because of the delay between showing where the hit will be and actually impacting. I guess Blizzard is just so used to running WoW that they assume that obvious, glowing hurt zones draw players like moths to a flame.
There is something to be said of how good that ultimate is whenyou can't get a kill with glitched unlimited ammo. It could also be Muselk's lacklaster skill. ;p

I still don't understand the need to have changed bastion so heavilly. In an attempt to make him more of an offensive threat they kinda ruined what made him so effective.
Ruined what? Bastion main here, old Bastion was a sitting duck. Sentry was his ONLY means of good dmg(his ult was trash & his primary wasnt like Soldier's. Not to mention, his movement speed sucked). All he was good for, was Sentry, but he always needed protection because he ALWAYS got all the aggro. Enemy teams always ganged up on him, or solo ult'd him. His changes are GREAT. Sentry is temporary, but mobile. His primary isnt trash & his ult just being an airstrike is WAY better than his old ult that killed Bastion more than his targets.
@@Walt_Xander94 as another Bastion main, I more or less agree with you. But for another reason. I don’t enjoy all of his changes, but mostly in relation to how it feel when you are playing him. For exemple, if you asked me, I would rather they kept his high rate of fire when he’s in scout mode than this slower no spread one. BUT… Bastion would suck if they kept him like he was, since we now only have 1 tank and only 2 of the existing tank have a shield now, having kept him like he was in OW1 would have been a disaster. He would simply suck. The new team composition isn’t made nor designed anymore to have a character like old bastion, he’d get pick off to easily and could easily be a team weight. I still enjoy playing the new bastion, but I can’t lie to myself, he doesn’t really feel like his old self neither. Which I fully understand might turn off those that were looking for that kind of gameplay.
Maybe the play for Tank mains is to change throughout the game in order to keep on top of the opposing team as well as play off the specific part of the map your team is at. Especially with the ult charge carrying over now, you start with 30% charge after switching if you had ult charge on the previous character

This actually helped me realize something! Yesterday, I was playing and one of my teammates commented in chat that bastion was abusing a bug, but I never noticed anything so I didn't report him! My teammate could've just been salty or something so I wasn't going to report them for something I didn't notice. I still wouldn't because there's a slight chance he really wasn't, but given this video it's highly likely that he really was abusing this bug. Weird that I didn't notice such a thing though

I never liked over watch, subbed for tf2 back in the day, but this is amazing.I hope he starts doing this over fortnite on his main channel, even if I don’t like overwatch. I will watch anything he puts out, as long as the videos aren’t forced, because his videos aren’t good or bad based off of what he plays, but if he enjoys making them. The problem with his channel now isn’t that his personality changed or anything, it’s that he doesn’t seem to really enjoy fortnite, so the videos feel forced, like he doesn’t want to make them. Hopefully this will get him back to making great content.

If you just aim it properly and don’t randomly fire it’s strong, I’ve gotten multiple quadruple kills with it just this week
