Greenville-Spartanburg just had the second rainiest January ever with over 10 inches of rain for the month. tragic! as none was frozen! missed the cold air every time. and it was plenty cold much of the month.

Truth it won't happen or accumulate
The snow signal over SC weakened overnight according to another of our weather enthusiasts- but still bears watching.
I'm in Asheville and really hoping we get some decent snow!
I live in the mountains of NC and I've had about 30 inches of snow this winter, So yeah, it snows in the Carolinas.
Not in South Carolina never will it accumulate.

Here in N. E. ALABAMA last week we had a dusting but it was gone before noon. That's what I like I moved down to where I live in February 93 and all the people here in N. E. ALABAMA blamed me for the blizzard of March 93.

Here in the great lakes near lake Ontario local forcast says no chance of snow for the whole week warmer then normal.. so far the snow fall for this winter till now is way below normal

Your pic says NC could get snow, I think you should adjust that graphic to show the snow going around NC, It does not snow here in NC.

Right now the better chance is south of VA, but not by a lot, so you should still monitor. We have 6-7 days for adjustments.
Models trended worse for this southern snow. Not gonna happen

Raleigh only gets snow/ice between Jan 16 to Jan 24th...you are safe to say there will be no snow in Raleigh! Lol

Said by somebody who did not grow up here. I have seen many Feb, March snows in the RTP area as a lifelong resident. Don’t fool yourself.

As someone who lives in the area we've gotten snow in the 2nd half of February before, 2020, 2012, 2014 and 2015 to name several occurrences
