I’ve been using the Dyson Airwrap for 4, maybe even 5 years now and I find it works best when my hair is freshly washed and is about 70-75% dry. I then set it with some hair spray and it lasts a very long time. I can get away with rocking it for 2, sometimes even 3 days in a row 🙊

Hey, I am looking to buy this as a gift for my mother for mothers day but I am a bit confused between this and the Shark flexstyle as have heard good reviews about that too. Hello! I have never used ot heard of Shark Flexstlye so I won't be able to compare, however I still stand by the Dyson :)

I have a question. Just bought the dyson airwrap and found with the smoothening attachment, using high heat and high airflow, it'd give off a sudden fizzy/hiss sounding burst of airflow in between passes. It lasts a second maybe two. Its annoying coz I have anticipatory anxiety and the sudden hissing noise unprovoked is debilitating for me. I wonder if you have experienced the same or do I have a faulty unit.

I live in Bangladesh. Few days ago, I bought my first Dyson airwrap from Canada and then I went to Dubai. When I plugged my air wrap in hotel it didn’t get turned on. So we went to Dubai mall Dyson store and then said they can’t help us with it as we bought it from another country. I was like bro we bought something from your company it is definitely your duty and responsibility to help out your costumers cause bro I paid 900 dollars for this. And if not (if they can’t help about country topic) then the company and their employees must serve their costumers with the right and important information. Doesn’t matter if the costumers are from that country or another. They must warn the costumers about the voltage thing. Some costumers may not know about it. Even the RUclips or other platforms didn’t even mentioned properly about it mostly everywhere. Then how we are supposed to know? This is bullshit. I paid 900 dollars and they can’t do anything to help their customers. From reviews, Dyson is a good product. But the service is really poor. Even when I went to Dubai mall Dyson store, the employee didn’t seem to be very well behaved with me. I’m super upset now. I can’t do anything about it. It’s right in the corner of my room, rotting. After hours of research I got to know that some costumers are the same victims as me. So they used converter to work it out but they also mentioned that there’s a high chance that the Dyson won’t be able to work for so long if you use converter. It will get damaged soon. The Dubai mall Dyson store employee said the same to me. Also it is hard for me or I didn’t find any good electricians to help me about the converter thing. However this was my first airwrap in life worth 900 dollars. I’m in grief now. Can’t do anything.
omg thanks for alerting me on this risk! I did not konw this as well. Did you try customer support? You usually have a warranty with your product in case of defect.
That does happen.. because of voltage differences you can’t use north american one in asia and vice versa… that’s why I had to wait 4 years to finally come back to India and buy it here and it just came today!
i have one and I don't get any curls. so I'm a bit disappointed because of the hype.
