I think the 4080 Super is a perfect GPU for 4K Tarkov as well. I run 9800X3D (ASUS BIOS 3201/Stock right now)+4080 Super 4K+High settings with 100-130 fps online on Streets….btw thx for all your supporting vids man! Keep up the good work! Cheers
I have a 7900xtx. With factory clocks it gives 4k a good run. It's not quite a 4090 but I would argue that if you don't have a 9800x3d you won't really see the benefits even at 4k. Would love to see a video on that.
4090 vs 7900XTX: ruclips.net/video/CDzRSZAYQ7A/видео.html even with 7800X3D, differences are noticeable when graphics settings are turned up because dependency moves to GPU
Thank you! yes, i've tested Rust a bunch in the past and it follows similar hardware usage to tarkov since it's on unity and it's a game with a TON of assets as well. I'd expect similar results but I can add it to my notes to do testing going forward
hello could you advise I'm playing on this build and I'm not getting fps like you fps drops on streets are higher and other maps I have sometimes high fps and other times drops down and occasional microbursts MY PC specs : CPU ryzen 9 7950x3d GPU rtx 4070ti ram 6000mhz 64gb cl 30 and nve disk 7000mb fast
could you check out my tarkov optimization guide: ruclips.net/video/1eFlPlPufjc/видео.html and undervolt guide for ryzen 7000: ruclips.net/video/-D2gPn95jS8/видео.html (just skip the boost clock override step for X3D) and then let me know how it goes? you can hit me up on discord: discord.gg/c7SvvDAuMZ
I am really curious if ddr7 will actually help tarkov at all. I got a 4090 for 1200$usd used but, it works great and I was thinking of just waiting until the 6090 comes out with ddr7x to upgrade ngl.
I dont think DDR7 will help. I watched recently Drlupos vid testing the 5090 in Tarkov and had wayway worse performance then me with 4080 Super…Maybe he should optimize his system more..dunno
Is 64g of ram truly necessary for tarkov to run smoothly? For 4 wipes now I've been playing at 1440 at around 80-100fps with a 4070ti, 32g ddr5 6000, and an I713700 until this last wipe where the game can seem unplayable at times. I then upgraded to an AMD 9950X and 32g DDR5 6400 and the same 4070ti and see literally NO performance boost. Wtf
Thanks. Damn man that's a huge bummer because that 9950X is wayyyyy beyond my already potentially fried i7 13700 and I intentionally chose the 9950 over the 9800x3d simply due to the ability to be a better multitasking cpu for streaming or audio recording/video editing.
Please Help! I have a cpu and or mobo/memory bottlenecked prebuilt pc with asus tuf 3080 10gb paired with Intel 11700k, 2x16gb 3200 ram, 500gb nvme ssd, It runs ok when not alot is going on, but I get stutters and or fps drops especially in the middle of a fight. I would like to improve my 1% lows in Tarkov and get the most out of my GPU while simultaneously building a system that would be capable of utilizing a stronger GPU from either AMD or Nvidia later on. 1440p and 4k capable is the target as I downgraded from 4k to 1440p but still have my 4k monitor. Is this possible? I know there is no such thing as future proofing. please point me in the right direction. I have watched all kinds of videos and have read alot on this topic but it is hard to find that sweetspot. my theoretical build: x870e tomohawk, 9800x3d, ddr5 2x32 6000, 1000w psu, 2tb nvme ssd. Any advice is appreciated.
As someone who just upgraded my Mobo, CPU, RAM i can say with 100% confidence that 9800x3D makes a huge difference. I'm still on the say GPU (3070TI) and my frames doubled at 1440P. I went from stutters in gun fights like you said to no stutters. FPS lows of like 30 to lows of 80. If you want to save money i wouldn't get the x870e Tomahawk unless you need that many things plugged into your pc. I got a B650 board and it works like a dream for 1/3 the price. With that price save i will be buying a 5080 when they launch in 4.5 hours. The 5080 is overkill for 1440p in tarkov but i think my 3070ti is falling behind the 9800x3D just a little bit too much for my liking.
3080 is still a strong 1440 card for tarkov as i mentioned in the video, upgrading to an X3D (whichever one fits your budget) will boost your performance a lot
dont know why but I have a 4070 super, i9 14900k and 32gb ddr5 6000mhz ram, my fps is alot lower in a online raid on streets at 1440p. every other game runs flawlessly
On tarkov? I didn't see the video yet i will just watch it after my comment. On tarkov you can play without a gpu and have the same performance as the top tier 😂😂 They need to start optimise it so the good gpus can run as good as a supercar on the road ❤
7900 XTX is what I've been running at 5120x1440 (slightly below 4k). 4090 wasn't a massive enough jump to justify the +1k€ price tag. Sadly no AMD high-end card any time soon, so I'm aiming to get a 5090, if it is in stock anywhere in my region.
Greatest GPU video on tarkov!
thank you for the support! 🙏
Best optimization channel and tarkov creator out there ! The man is goated
thank you so much for your support! 🙏

Hey, wrong link on 4070, why version is recommended the 16gb?
oops sorry about that, just updated the link! thanks for pointing that out
Great guide. i have a feeling this test would be similar in Rust, no?

How do you have money for all this gear?
ramen every meal
Hi,what about the 7900xtx ? Do I think would be better to go for 4070ti or take the 7900xtx? Thanks
i would take XTX if tarkov is main game btw the 2. If you like ray tracing and play other games where nvidia features are exclusive, then 4070ti
@@pyurologie thanks, love Ur video and content, can't wait for next one
thanks for the video man

unfortunately the 9950X is not the greatest tarkov CPU, X3D chips are generations ahead of the vanilla chips because of the large cache size
to answer the RAM question though, yes this wipe I've seen performance improvements with 64 vs 32: ruclips.net/video/DYtwharuhFc/видео.html

Your 3080 isn't the problem. It's your intel CPU that's holding you back. Not much in the realm of what you can do except upgrade to an X3d chip.
