Actually back in the day they used to put dry tea and some water in a teapot all together then heat it up so they made and used the strainers which you put it on two mugs to strain their tea

For halving of cherry tomatoes in bulk, I use 2 plates to sandwich the tomatoes and rn the knife between the plates.
