Not sure if it was his first but it was a tube chassis/jeep bodies rig. He sold it at a competition back in the day for 12k If I remember correctly, kick myself to this day for not buying it.

Is the section shown at 2:30 called 'Back Door'? If so, then the comment about a broken axle makes sense. I was wondering why the right rear tire was the only one not spinning. Presumably then, he made it through all the sections between backdoor and the staging area, then had the axle repaired, and still made 4th? Wow!
Are either the front or rear differentials spools or are they lockers?
