I thought this was just a custom statue, I didn’t know this was an actual articulated figure

eBay is so much more expensive though, I’d rather not recommend anyone to it.

I really prefer the look of Ready Player One's MechaGodzilla to the MonsterVerse one
The blue beam is actually accurate if you seen the ready player one film, but for a bootleg figure...that’s amazing

As much as I do enjoy the GVK Mecha-G design, this would have been awesome in that film!
the same guy who singlehandedly designed the GVK MG designed this one!

Yeah, I can see NECA making the molds for this then loosing the license at the last minute. I betcha there's been quite a few figures that went past prototype but they couldn't release. Maybe that's why Randy always seems so grumpy...

Check your other color beams cause it might have been painted. I wish I could see my 62, 64, and 54 Neca Godzilla's.

Would you recommend top coating the figure to remove the tackiness and prevent the paint wash coming off?

Looking at this figure, it looks a little off from the movie design. I think the chest plate below the neck wasn’t in the movie, and to me the middle section of the legs and the upper part of the arms look too skinny. It’s still cool, but I’d love one that’s more screen accurate, unless I’m looking at the figure wrong or something
This movie wins simply by existing honestly. Looks the part enough in my mind's eye.

This figure is EXPENSIVE AF for such poor paint applications.

Poor paint apps? Nooooo. Sticky paint? Yes, but not poor at all. And only expensive on eBay.
Sometimes you have top go all in on the unknown. I have done that many times on bootleg concert cds sometime you pay a lot and and get something crappy sometimes you pay a little and get something amazing and sometimes you pay just the right amount and get a great one. and this one here that you got looks like a GREAT ONE.
The Atomic Breath Beam looks like the painted the NECA 1962 beam blue. I was comparing them when you showed it and it looks the same only blue.
After watching for a bit it kinda reminds me of a Steam Punk / Samurai Armor Mechagodzilla, some what.
I finally broke down and ordered myself the Bandai Gamera and Godzillaultima figures today and two different DC Universe Figures the Todd McFarlane Batman and the Last Knight On Earth Batman. Should be a fun weekend when they get here. :-)

@@Ultrazilla Yeah I think that Gorilla Grodd looks pretty cool myself I know they have two colors for the Armor the regular one in Gold, and the alternate in silver have not seen the silver one yet myself but the gold looks pretty awesome.
