Since the last FPWW countdown had some great feedback, I thought I would do another! This time the focus is WWE Finishers, as we look at 10 of the best from past and current WWE superstars. Keep in mind the limited creations at this point, so there is some big moves missing. But a part 2 soon? #TEAM101

ADouble2 yeah, this is the main reason why No Mercy looks so good, animation wise, nearly two decades later. The animations were done frame by frame by hand rather than being mocapped.
Dekai Averett Sometimes it's not about looking merely like the real thing - it's about being larger than life. Or even just adjusting the captured animations to give them more impact. I think Yukes has fallen behind at this aspect of game animation.

If I'm right the PC creations are being transferred to console then there's already hundreds of thousands of creations including 50 of my own British wrestlers The PC community has been at it for about 2 years now buddy dont you worry about it basically every WWE and ROH guy is already on there
Drag the opponent to the middle of the ring then go to a corner left or right ring post and hold the direction you are going and the circle button when you get to the edge of the post. Your character should do the animation then.
I think that it is more common to label Fire Pro as a simulation game. The deep customization options allow you to make (or download) wrestlers that will behave just like their real life counterparts.
Visually more arcadey, gameplay wise it's more simulation-esque. You have to wear the opponent down to hit bigger moves, rather than it being oriented around being able to hit any move so long as the CPU doesn't counter or the other player hits the reversal button at the right time when prompted.
Bryan M Not really, no. Wrestlefest was very easy to play and had a lot of button mashing. The controls in Fire Pro seem simple at first (lockups and reversals are automatic), but the gameplay is tricky to master. The timing on your button presses has to be very precise, and you have to try and play like the real wrestlers (start with weaker attacks, transition into stronger ones as you wear down your opponent, then build up to your finisher, while constantly keeping your stamina replenished) or you will have no chance of winning.

Shinsuke spins towards the Screen too which looks reaally good here & I think the Developers liked the way it looked better than turning their Back's to the Screen or they possibly had to do it like that...
Is there a way to download wrestlers in Fire pro wrestling world cause ive pirated the game on my pc and it doesnt seems to work by subscribing on steam is there any other way??
Those are Fan created WWE Characters they're NOT actually in the Game but Fire Pro Wrestling World put a big library of Pro Wrestling Moves in the Game for CAW's
The Swanton Bomb, Twist of Fate and Hardy's other moves are all in the game. You can easily download Hardy or create him yourself. Game is super recommended!
I've never played an FPW game-- Maybe on PS1, as I remember a character called Area 51. Anyway, I'm very intrigued by the thought of all of the customization options, but I'm fearful about putting out the money, and not being able to get passed the cheesey game play. Did anyone else have the same concern, but end up loving the game regardless?
2Sweet It took me a few matches to really get the hang of the game play but it's actually really entertaining and very realistic in some points like how just can't do a finisher when the guy is still at a 100%. And if you like this style if graphics unlike 99% of the comment section you will surely enjoy this game
Saroj Shrestha fire pro is a series that's been around since the late 80s building on the original engine. It remains around because it has a big fan base and was so much better than the wrestling games of the day.
Pretty much everything in FPW are creations but if you knew what the creator was like then you wouldn't be concerned with it The AI logic editor is immense you can literally make a wrestler with the same move strings if you want and that's just the beginning of it
Could you please have them update the grapple system. Dear God you could hit a guy with a chair and you'd still have a 50 50 grapple yuck...watching highlights of this game is difficult..not as bad a 2k but sheesh...
Well worth it, I'll still be playing this a decade from now. This is the only wrestling game you need, and much cheaper than buying a new WWE game each year.

This looks like an arcade wrestling game from the late 80s...i dont understand at all.
The gameplay. You can personalize the behavior of each wrestler and is really deep. In no mercy all wrestlers have different moves but they behave the same. Also you don't have a limit to the number of wrestlers you can have, have more moves. The fact the this looks like arcade makes it easier to create edits that look a like their real life counterparts. The gameplay more simulation like than any other wrestler game.

I mean, i hate WWE 2K games for making me create a custom character to go through my career. Id rather just pick my favorite wrestler and play through a really creative and in depth story mode than be able to create every wrestler in the world. I'm sure they're good games for many people..I just don't think it's what I'm looking for.

Yeah it's in. I made a few FPWW videos and you can see plenty of springboards in them including the Forearm
You can even program the ai to automatically go into those finishing spring board sequences.

They're created with Fire Pro Wrestling World's character creator, and I think the uploader downloaded them off of the Fire Pro community creations

The Spear is a top finisher.... the same spear that 932 wrestlers have done in the last ten years.
It's pretty weird for Stone Cold to kick someone with their right leg and then hit a Stunner on the left shoulder. Usually spins the other way around.
BACHUR They still have the old Mikey Whipwreck animation cause he did his whippersnapper with the left arm.
