Awesome video buddy!!! You sure are organized and clean for sure!!! I definitely love that when I see that in a shop!!! I definitely can’t stand it when a shop is all dirty and people are working in a mess!!! I definitely think that a clean work space leads to good work!!!! I no a guy that builds a few motors and his shop is so dirty and cluttered I couldn’t even believe that his motors run after putting them together!!! I definitely wouldn’t have him build one for me but even if it was clean I still wouldn’t have him build one!!! I definitely build my own that way I no that everything is tightened and done properly!!! What size was the motor in your truck??? I just built a 421 sbc for my 1969 Chevy 1Ton 4x4!!! I definitely love it!!!!

Thanks for noticing the clean shop, that’s been one of my goals since I got this place. My motor is just a stock 454, except for a cam, exhaust, intake, FiTech.

Always enjoy watching a Square Body get worked on 👍🙌….Just picked my 89 K5 Blazer up from my mechanic who works on it for me…I had Nu-Relic power window motors and regulators put in both doors and the tailgate…WOW 😮what a difference!!! Windows can go down and up quicker then just going down with the one year old Napa motors….I’ve tried them all, Napa , LMC, AC Delco, and some from Amazon…..absolutely nothing is like these form Nu-Relic….
Your truck is gonna be a beast when completed ✔️ 🙌👍🙏

Those old window motors sure are slow. Mines got window cranks so I don’t need to worry about that, for now.

What length hose did you use on you splitter hose you bolted to the rear diff? I am installing a 6” ORD kit and I am sure your hose will be long enough. I think mine is too short with the stock hose.

Did you change the proportioning valve from the drum to disk set up? I know I didn’t on my swap and the rear brakes would lock up under light loads and was super sketchy lol. Its up front along the frame and engine crossmember

I did not change mine. Its supposed to work, but I haven't driven it much yet to find out.

Hey buddy I thought I’d let you that when using chrome sockets on an impact they might be harder to loosen as chrome will take some of the strength out of the torque it takes to take a bolt or nut off!! You should definitely try a impact socket witch are a much heavier duty socket and they will help by transferring the torque threw the socket better and applying more torque to the bolt or nut!! Just thought I’d let you know!!!

You are correct about the sockets! I usually just use the light sockets for the small impact, it uses the 1/4” adapter and they can break fairly easy.

Im currently trying to finnish up my lugnut 4x4 disk brake conversion on my '77 k20. Where did you get your hard lines? I have the stainless steel brake hoses as well and i just need to finnish hooking up the brake lines, but i came to a stoping point for now.

@@PootsGarage I saw that in the video. I was wondering where you bought the hardlines/hardware from. Napa, O'Reilly's? Im looking for the hardlines to cut and make my own as well.

@@desmondbarajas9310 I bought those premade sections from Summit Racing. They had a few different lengths to chose from.
