Methinks VW should revisit rear drive for all models . A low cost architecture for all Up , Polo , Golf , Jetta would increase sales here in the US . Then a new Thing , Microbus could be built , furthering a more distinctive lineup against Nissan , Hyundai with a rear drive Genesis of all thing's . Not to mention Mazda , Subaru and Toyota sporty rear drive offerings .
Okay, I always thought that "robust" was a pretty vague adjective. But using it to describe a 50-HP engine? Yeah, the word now officially has no meaning whatsoever. Gotta love the Thing, though.
I love mine here in SW Wyoming
It would never safety many safety concerns on modern restrictions. Simple days are over. To bad we should go back like that. No need to go over 100kmh
I would love one here in Ireland 👍
Using road tires won’t help off road. The vws rear engine offers great traction. Use off road tires and it will be even better
