Hope next comeback Yuta will get more lines and screentime. Only time he got decent lines was in Kick it. SM should really give Yuta more justice he is an allrounder. Atleast Taeil got the screentime he deserved.

That's probably why a lot of kpop fans don't like it. I know this'll sound mean, but I feel like kpop is aiming at younger audiences and shortening songs/making them repetitive and mainstream so they get easy likes/tiktok trands and radio play (my opinion of course). NCT isn't main stream enough I guess?

I consider 127 to be more underappreciated than underrated. I think a lot of people know full well how talented the group is, they just don’t like them for whatever reason. It could be their music (especially their more idiosyncratic comebacks), it could be because they have a big company behind them giving them a perceived advantage, or that they threaten the popularity of their own faves.
I can’t feel too sorry for one of the top 5 groups in Kpop, though I do find myself somewhat irritated to see younger gen groups surpass them in popularity internationally.
I agree about the newer cookie-cutter pop boy groups out there; I listen to them and go, “Bleh.” However, there’s a prominent music critic who loves the stuff, and tends to find 127’s material problematic. I prefer artists who are willing to take risks: “Sticker” was 127’s most controversial song, and also their most artistically successful. 💚

the "are you ready" part of taeyong and mark are AMAZING and the fact that the part are in intro and after chorus, is just IMPACTFUL

the MV is really cool and Taeyong's unique hair is really cool, Mark is really swag when rapping and Jaehyun gets a rapping part too wow and Yuta is really cool sitting can fly doyoung who plays eyebrows

The more i listen to it the more i like it. This is so unique. They always pull off a sound you have never ever heard before. We can see all member's strength here. And we can hear and see the hidden gem of the group moon taeil thank goodness.

Taeyong always leading the charge when it comes to the "NEO" part of Culture Tech city for sure (but I loved all of them too), this song is amazing. No other kpop band sounds like them. Perfect.

127 is producers fav. They always bring something new, a head of everyone. Producers are keeping their eyes on them to keep up with the trend. Watched some reaction vids of producers and artists, almost all of them love their releases. May not be for the public, but from Ay-Yo lyrics you can tell 127 don't care. Probably some people don't like their music, but enough people or fans love them. And that's enough for them. Keep doing you 127!
That's why I adore them so much! They just do what they want and gather people around them who are ready to listen to unique sounds and truly appreciate their songs. NCT127 are really one of a kind. I'm SO PROUD to be NCTzen. Our boys never let fans get bored!

This comeback feels more mature, it feels more rounded, like all their diacography and MVs have been building up to come to make something amazing like this!
The choreographer said that exact thing lol. She said that her choreo for Ay-Yo was meant to portray maturity instead of the usual "sexy" and "power" choreo they usually get.

There’s only a finite amount of time in a song. As you stated, Taeil and Johnny got more screen time than usual. In order to give them more screen time, you need to take some away from other members. That or you need to make the song long enough to accommodate for all of the members. And in a 9 member group, that’s going to be more difficult than a four or five member group. Yuta will have more time to shine in other eras 😊
I never know which video to choose between this one and the choreography version because they’re both so amazing. I just end up listening to both of them back to back every single time.

I mean jungwoo got part of the bridge for two consecutive times. Way better than before, we are making progress. Yuta on the other hand is still so much underused
