First you need to upgrade the software to MIB2.5 version which itself is difficult. Depending on which system you have (Harman, Delphi, Techisat) the procedure is different.

If you have 2xSD and 1xSIM, I believe that it's Discover Pro. Not sure if older MIB1 or newer MIB2. That you would have to check. Podpinany był również VCDS. Jest możliwość skontaktowania się z Panem droga telefoniczną i ewentualnie zdalne usprawnienie radia? Bardzo mi na tym zależy. Moi elektronicy rozkładają ręce. There’s two types of OBDeleven device: 1st gen and 2nd gen. Both do the same but 2nd gen works with iPhones. When you have the device and OBDeleven app installed on the phone, there are two ways of doing things: you can buy/get free credits and spend them on one-click-apps (for example 10 credits for enabling developer mode) or you can buy PRO license which will allow you to perform required changes/activations manually.

I believe it’s available in one-click apps that you can use for 10 credits or so without PRO Subscription.

Does the developer menu also show fec/swap codes? I want to check what fecs/swap are valid.
Already possible without enabling developer menu. Just hold the menu button for 3 seconds. On MIB1 there aren't any FEC's

No, hard reset doesnt reset those personalised settings.

There are such devices and I believe they do work. I'm using one of those in Audi Q3 with old RMC system and I'm happy with it.
Will this work on discover media or only discover media pro?
This works on most MIB systems: Composition Media, Discover Media, Discover Pro, MIB1, MIB2, MIB2.5.

As far as I know, no. VIM lock is located in eeprom and VCDS can not access that. OBDeleven or VCP.
