I’m honestly too invested in these two to drop the drama cos like they fit so perfectly, it’s insane! I’ve been a fan of Jung So Min since Playful Kiss and my favorite drama of hers is Because This is my First Life (I’ve seen it thrice). I just think she has an amazing personality and would be a really great and down to earth person to be friends with. I wouldn’t exactly say I’m a fan of Jung Hae In but I saw in him Something in the Rain and I think he’s a very good actor. He also did well in DP. This is however the first series of his I’m seeing him so happy and funny and I really love it. I’m off to go binge watch his travel vlog series. I honestly just hope they have a beautiful relationship (either platonic or romantic, whatever works for them) for a very long time.❤

I really like their chemistry, they're comfortable to each other and would love to see them growing together from friendship to love as friendship is one of the best foundation in a relationship. I mean that's how me and my husband's are. Nothing is perfect in marriage but both of us always go back to how we started our relationship (being friend first). This could lead for some to be guarded around him because he may seem aloof. With JSM, since she has a lot more exposure to male "close colleagues", she can be more playful, friendly in a non-flirty way, and she let JHI come out of his shell by letting him know it's okay to be silly and less petty. 😎 If anything, I'm glad JSM and JHI got to be together in LND. What a blast for his first romcom series to work with the queen. ♥️

I am actually closely watching this and not listening in the background now that I have some time but is it just me or did the actual dynamics of their relationship changed (at least in the order of the interviews shown)? JSM was very assertive and in the absolute lead in terms of their conversations and even body language eg salon drip vs melon. In this interview, JHI is completely dominant and is not even bothering to hide his interest (outside of their characters being lovers) in her in actual reality. There are so many cases of reel becoming real but the one thing everyone say is that they either jumped into a relationship because they couldn't get out of their character or they waited to see if their feelings were genuine in actual reality. I am curious to know if their relationship really changed from just close colleagues to actually dating or in a “some” relationship. It is absolutely hilarious to me that every time the subject of opposite sex friendships come up, he is always sulking, sarcastic, and petty with his responses amongst “close colleagues” or cherished older/younger people in this sense since the entire crew never defined their relationship outside of the drama. Generally all the cast members say they have become "friends." If anything I should have picked up on this since who talks about the same topic of opposite sex friends for hours and days on end with work colleagues or cherised “siblings” if you are not friends. Even amongst friends, this would at most be a couple of hours subject and onto the next topic!!! 😂😂😂
@@Holymolly-b9u I agree, I do think he is very possessive with her and protective. Very alpha male which I read he was and from his costar Hwang Jung Min despite his baby face! But I am not sure about his agency officially announcing anything unless they get engaged or marriage announcement. Seems like his agency is really big on not commenting on trending topics about him or rumors. For example the dating rumors, management would shut that down in a minute and any joint interviews/promos you can see the change in terms of behavior. This is really unique which is why I actually do think they are seriously dating with marriage as end game. I was actually surprised by the Bali fiasco because despite popularity of the stars (especially where dating rumors are around) you get separate vehichles, different arrival and departure times for flights, etc. This one, they didnt even bother to hide inside incheon airport when they were off to Bali😂😂 as they were both spotted, i was surprised since I was looking for pics of them at the airport lounge😅 Afterall Lee Jong Seok actually confirmed he was dating someone by paving the way if you will at the award ceremony and dispatch officially confirmed it was IU and confirmation from both of them afterwards. I did read that both of them received advanced notice that dispatch was going to announce them as a couple and basically LJS started dropping major crumbs to the lead up of it being officially announced. For me, it seems like both JHI and JSM do not care either way. They are more careful in Korea but certainly not in Bali. There is this video on the tok of their departure and he insisted to whomever I assume was part of JSM’s management that he wanted to go inside the airport with her. In context, my guess is that her mgmt wanted to have delayed entry into airport but he just wanted to go together ❤❤ and told her he would be behind her walking❤❤❤❤❤ based on that video without the bgm. i couldnt hear what her manager(?) said but i clearly heard his responses. Also in that daze interview, he never said they were “friends” but “like friends”😂😂😂😂 so he refuses to use that term to define the relationship (I guess not to friendzone himself or her to friendzone him) She does have close relationships it seems with her male costars (i am especially fond of her and kang haneul and kim ji seok is really thoughtful and shows that he really knows her little habits) And also, I think people know already in the industry, JHI can’t hide it based on his vetern interviews and promos so is it even worth officially announcing at all? 😂😂😂😂

I did read about Lee Joon's mental health issues but I thought from what I have gathered reading about it that it was a traumatic? breakup and she stated (I read somewhere) that she made a lot of mistakes and also sort of put her career on hold and there were some career issues as well (radio host?). Either way, I do not think part of the reason for the breakup was because the relationship was public. Maybe because people have short attention spans but also probably did not care all that much in terms of public interest, it is really the speculation that is exciting. I also agree with JSM's definition of friendship too but man, JHI literally broke it down to the gender which is just extra overkill! 😆 I do think and please correct me if I am wrong but she does have her guard up and there is a clear boundary to her friendships with males. Are there additional or new promos for him mentioning marriage? I guess it would be clear during his upcoming fan meets. I have this strange gut feeling that something about their relationship status will come out before the end of this year. I did hear and read about how this is all for promotions and it was a business thing. If it is true, I have to give soooooo much credit to both of them as actors/professionals but you certainly cannot hide JHI and his very obvious behavior towards her! I gave up shipping a long time ago and never bothered with fhe HB and Son Yeh Jin rumors but for some reason, I am absolutely certain these 2 are seriously dating with marriage. @@Holymolly-b9u Ahh yes I did see this interview but just clips of it. I didn't take it that he wanted marriage necessarily but really the type of relationship that Hwang Jung Min has with his wife. I also picked up that he really wants a trustful and reliable partner because a few minutes before the 18 min mark, he talks about he doesnt talk about his problems at all unless he truly trusts that person. Which is why I think he places such emphasis on what a "friend" is (aside from his petty and sulky insistence on the definition of it with SoMin😂) The fan videos from Bali were truly something, which is why I thought there is something going on. I saw one video where he looked super pissed because one of the security guys who was guiding her kept touching her back. This is not a guy to mess with- woahh!! @@Holymolly-b9u they had a long same argument about man & woman should not be friends, he’s strongly against it 😅. So we don’t know what their conclusion about that subject. My thinking is, the photoshoot project in Bali can only be executed if both actors agreed and available to do it. So they did it. Even though Hae In has other work commitment at the time with veteran 2 promotion and Dior, but he managed to make the time for the photoshoot in Bali, partly maybe so he can have a short break at the same time. My conclusion is, there’s must be a special bond between them, and this is 1st time to for hae in did a project overseas with his co-star, his mom and his brother in one frame openly. 2 years ago hae in went to bali for a photoshoot too with his parents and brother.

My pov for hae in side is nearly the same as yours for somin. He’s 36 yo now. What I know he’s a good planner type of man. He’s been preparing for what future he would like to have. He’s a hard worker and take his career seriously. He’s a family man (from one of his interview when asked who’s his role model, he said his father). His father is type of man who treat his woman like a queen. Hae is a homebody who prefer spend his time off at home.

I really like their chemistry, they're comfortable to each other and would love to see them growing together from friendship to love as friendship is one of the best foundation in a relationship. I'm a fan of JSM since "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes", I thought her beauty is not the typical Kdrama girls and she is really talented. I also watch her youtube vlogs.
I knew of JHI since "Something in the Rain", I loved the series, but honestly, he's not my type. 😅 (I prefer the Go Soo types.) Because of "Love Next Door", I watched JHI's travel vlogs and I found him serious, disciplined, and sometimes, as evidenced in the recent promos with the LND cast, he tends to take himself too seriously (somewhat afraid to fail in the games -- nothing wrong with that, but yeah 😅). This could lead for some to be guarded around him because he may seem aloof. With JSM, since she has a lot more exposure to male "close colleagues", she can be more playful, friendly in a non-flirty way, and she let JHI come out of his shell by letting him know it's okay to be silly and less petty. 😎
If anything, I'm glad JSM and JHI got to be together in LND. What a blast for his first romcom series to work with the queen. ♥️

I am actually closely watching this and not listening in the background now that I have some time but is it just me or did the actual dynamics of their relationship changed (at least in the order of the interviews shown)?
JSM was very assertive and in the absolute lead in terms of their conversations and even body language eg salon drip vs melon. In this interview, JHI is completely dominant and is not even bothering to hide his interest (outside of their characters being lovers) in her in actual reality.
There are so many cases of reel becoming real but the one thing everyone say is that they either jumped into a relationship because they couldn't get out of their character or they waited to see if their feelings were genuine in actual reality. I am curious to know if their relationship really changed from just close colleagues to actually dating or in a “some” relationship.
It is absolutely hilarious to me that every time the subject of opposite sex friendships come up, he is always sulking, sarcastic, and petty with his responses amongst “close colleagues” or cherished older/younger people in this sense since the entire crew never defined their relationship outside of the drama. Generally all the cast members say they have become "friends."
If anything I should have picked up on this since who talks about the same topic of opposite sex friends for hours and days on end with work colleagues or cherised “siblings” if you are not friends. Even amongst friends, this would at most be a couple of hours subject and onto the next topic!!! 😂😂😂

I agree, I do think he is very possessive with her and protective. Very alpha male which I read he was and from his costar Hwang Jung Min despite his baby face! But I am not sure about his agency officially announcing anything unless they get engaged or marriage announcement. Seems like his agency is really big on not commenting on trending topics about him or rumors. For example the dating rumors, management would shut that down in a minute and any joint interviews/promos you can see the change in terms of behavior. This is really unique which is why I actually do think they are seriously dating with marriage as end game. I was actually surprised by the Bali fiasco because despite popularity of the stars (especially where dating rumors are around) you get separate vehichles, different arrival and departure times for flights, etc. This one, they didnt even bother to hide inside incheon airport when they were off to Bali😂😂 as they were both spotted, i was surprised since I was looking for pics of them at the airport lounge😅
Afterall Lee Jong Seok actually confirmed he was dating someone by paving the way if you will at the award ceremony and dispatch officially confirmed it was IU and confirmation from both of them afterwards. I did read that both of them received advanced notice that dispatch was going to announce them as a couple and basically LJS started dropping major crumbs to the lead up of it being officially announced.
For me, it seems like both JHI and JSM do not care either way. They are more careful in Korea but certainly not in Bali. There is this video on the tok of their departure and he insisted to whomever I assume was part of JSM’s management that he wanted to go inside the airport with her. Also in that daze interview, he never said they were “friends” but “like friends”😂😂😂😂 so he refuses to use that term to define the relationship (I guess not to friendzone himself or her to friendzone him)
She does have close relationships it seems with her male costars (i am especially fond of her and kang haneul and kim ji seok is really thoughtful and shows that he really knows her little habits)
And also, I think people know already in the industry, JHI can’t hide it based on his vetern interviews and promos so is it even worth officially announcing at all? 😂😂😂😂
@@Holymolly-b9ui would love to know how her relationship went downhill but just based on what I read and what I can gauge is that the breakup was a bad one due to a bunch of circumstances. Also i did see some of her vlogs and I actually do think there is a clear boundary for her with her friendships with men. I never followed her as a fan but just based on what i read, she keeps her guard up and some of her male friends are homebodies so they dont really meet so this is why I can see why JHI say/define they are her close colleagues rather than friends 🤣🤣🤣
JHI is so transparent, I completely agree- in one vetern 2 interview, the question was what fight are you confident in and he said “love fight” - i was dying of laughter and attempted to steer it to he wants to do it and also because of the drama 😂😂😂he slightly hesitated, touching his hair and just said he was confident in love fights. I think his costars know too based on the yoo jae suk interview 😂😂😂😂 and were alluding to the topic of “love”

I did read about Lee Joon's mental health issues but I thought from what I have gathered reading about it that it was a traumatic? breakup and she stated (I read somewhere) that she made a lot of mistakes and also sort of put her career on hold and there were some career issues as well (radio host?). Either way, I do not think part of the reason for the breakup was because the relationship was public. Maybe because people have short attention spans but also probably did not care all that much in terms of public interest, it is really the speculation that is exciting.
I also agree with JSM's definition of friendship too but man, JHI literally broke it down to the gender which is just extra overkill!
😆 I do think and please correct me if I am wrong but she does have her guard up and there is a clear boundary to her friendships with males. I was actually shipping her with Kang Haneul but with Kim Ji Suk (as much as I think that he does really like her romantically, she totally friendzoned him🤣🤣🤣🤣) and even if she keeps in touch with them, most of them are hombodies🙃 I also hope that if she is married, she will keep in touch with her male friends and meet up with them from time to time but I can see him totally blocking that out of jealousy which I personally do not like but can understand that dynamics change when married.

@@Holymolly-b9uoohhhhh the mention of marriage on his part is new for me- i saw some fanmeet where as recent as last year he didnt have any plans for it as he loved acting but didnt hear him mention marriage except in the epi 13-14 bts (that was so hilarious and random he said “marriage” while the cast were practicing for the scene) and I did see him mention he was envious of hwang jung min’s conversation. Are there additional or new promos for him mentioning marriage? I guess it would be clear during his upcoming fan meets.
I have this strange gut feeling that something about their relationship status will come out before the end of this year. I did hear and read about how this is all for promotions and it was a business thing. If it is true, I have to give soooooo much credit to both of them as actors/professionals but you certainly cannot hide JHI and his very obvious behavior towards her! I gave up shipping a long time ago and never bothered with fhe HB and Son Yeh Jin rumors but for some reason, I am absolutely certain these 2 are seriously dating with marriage.
I also thought that the idea of him bringing his mom and brother to Bali was overkill (although by his fan accounts, this is “normal” for him). Something definitely happened in Bali (outside of them being radio silent including the staff) and just based on that tok video alone and him insisting he go into the airport with her) they are dating. There is just no way you can get away with that considering the korean culture (I am Korean so I know😂). Based on his indonesian fans at the airport- it appears as though his brother was close and comfortable with her and both his brother and mom took care of her at the airport and she took care of their mom. Normally i wouldn’t place much value on this except she is his costar and colleague. Was going out of their way or his actions really necessary? 😅😅 i did read there were staff with them except some of them went had to go through the regular immigration line and not the vip one hence why you didnt see their staff or most of them on the trip.
2 things stand out to me- and I am not a lipreader but in a video as they were walking, she turned back to see him (and others) and it looked like he said “go” or keep going (again he took on the role of a dominant partner) and the chat he had with her manager(?) because when he insisted in going on together, she just said ok (based on context) since I couldn’t hear what she was saying 😮😮
Ooohhh can you share what type of homework JHI did on her? My guess was asking around his friends since Im Shi Won worked on a drama together.

@@Holymolly-b9u Ahh yes I did see this interview but just clips of it. I didn't take it that he wanted marriage necessarily but really the type of relationship that Hwang Jung Min has with his wife. I also picked up that he really wants a trustful and reliable partner because a few minutes before the 18 min mark, he talks about he doesnt talk about his problems at all unless he truly trusts that person. Which is why I think he places such emphasis on what a "friend" is (aside from his petty and sulky insistence on the definition of it with SoMin😂)
The fan videos from Bali were truly something, which is why I thought there is something going on. I saw one video where he looked super pissed because one of the security guys who was guiding her kept touching her back. This is not a guy to mess with- woahh!! I also agree with you, I do think that she has met his mom and brother before (not sure about the dad). Just based on witness accounts and even his brother's action by taking her gifts, it was very casual and familiar almost. And also super strange that she called his mom
"eomma" and not the formal "eomma-nim" as the former is truly reserved for family and super duper close friends.
Regarding him taking his mom on biz trips, generally for when he goes international at least from what I read from his fans and his younger brother generally goes on his international trips as manager. Well he is the 6th generation of the great scholar so it is imperative that a 7th be here to continue the line🥰 and I can see her pushing for marriage. But I wonder if he has truly thought about it or this is just recent musings. I was reading some fan account who said that his mother has a face that you do not want to test and is fiercely protective or maybe even possessive of her son (LOLOL). He is really private or FNC manages to keep whatever stuff is out of the press so I would love to know who is former girlfriends were.
Personally I think he basically called all his friends/acquaintances or probably they called him and started to ask around. I noticed right from Epi 3-4 BTS that he was extremely comfortable with her and she was leading the way but then something switched or flipped midway and I can't figure out why or how😆

My thinking is, the photoshoot project in Bali can only be executed if both actors agreed and available to do it. So they did it. Even though Hae In has other work commitment at the time with veteran 2 promotion and Dior, but he managed to make the time for the photoshoot in Bali, partly maybe so he can have a short break at the same time. My conclusion is, there’s must be a special bond between them, and this is 1st time to for hae in did a project overseas with his co-star, his mom and his brother in one frame openly. 2 years ago hae in went to bali for a photoshoot too with his parents and brother.

My pov for hae in side is nearly the same as yours for somin. He’s 36 yo now. What I know he’s a good planner type of man. He’s been preparing for what future he would like to have. He’s a hard worker and take his career seriously. He’s a family man (from one of his interview when asked who’s his role model, he said his father). His father is type of man who treat his woman like a queen. Hae is a homebody who prefer spend his time off at home.
