Like, you could take a level from, say, World 5, and isolate it from Lost Levels and the game's perception, and I doubt most people would find said level particularly out of the ordinary difficulty-wise in its layout, maybe a bit harder than average but not much? The game is still not beginner-friendly, but it was specifically made for people who had already mastered the first game so it was never intended to be beginner-friendly, so given that, the main 8 worlds honestly aren't particularly outlandish on the difficulty compared to other older Mario games. Worlds A-D are a very different story but in the original Famicom version those were just a secret bonus separate campaign for only the most skilled players so those really don't count. However, I don't agree with saying SMB2 USA is harder, nah Lost Levels is definitely still a harder game than SMB2-USA, but its difficulty is over-exaggerated. It just seems ridiculously hard if you're not well-accustomed to SMB1's controls/physics, and if you try to play it speeding through levels without being really careful like you might an easier Mario game, but simply take the game slow and steady and be constantly alert and it's not that over-the-top difficult (again, assuming you're well accustomed to SMB1's controls).
@@legoboy7107 the thing with 2j (ignoring infinte life glitch in 1-1) is that you can continue from the world your in, so you can try the same world over and over again, but in 2u you can only do that twice, and if you game over again, you go from world 1, and also the main way of getting lifes in the game is luck-based, making a very hard game. On all starts version both are easy though
I feel like this was less of a cohesive video and more a string of 10 seconds twitch clips. A series of videos for this game would have been cool but idk maybe that's not good for the algorithm
Playing luigi mode is like having a constant mini mushroom. Also if you do a spin jump with the acorn suit, you can go all the way to the top of the flag from the bottom. Edit: a fake rays fire bot replied to me LOL
