I’ve played this game many times. Easy, moderate, speed run, other hard achievements. I had even completed madhouse. I replayed this 5 times in total. No matter how many times I play this, this boss scares me. The fact that there are so many holes in the house, and she can just pop out of anywhere is scary. And in order to properly defeat her, you have to be in the open so that you don’t get cornered. I play in VR because it gives me more immersion, so maybe that is why. However, I still can’t get over this boss battle. The fact that she taunts you while you wander around the house, trying to find her when she’s right above you is amazing. This is the reason why I love this game so much.
Do the reactions when they first saw her in her bug form you know when you try to take the lantern
Now we know she actually died because Thanos snapped.

My guess? Probably a result of her taking too much damage and being surrounded by bugs. The mold probably absorbed some while repairing all those holes Ethan shot into her.

@@AnimationEnthusiest Compared to Jack's which was so powerful even the serum couldn't kill him? Jack calcified, yet somehow recovered.
Now there's a good question. Maybe Evie actually repaired Jack herself after his upper half exploded. It was assumed he just...recovered somehow, but Evie may have been able to use her mold to reshape him.
A possible answer why Jack regenerates from The serium: that didn't really kill him. Just made him Go back

This wasn’t a resident evil game to me it should of been called something else
This puts the *horror* in the franchise. Even if it doesn’t feel right, it matches with the early games because of the horror. I’m not sure how you feel that this doesn’t belong here, but this reinvented resident evil.
