I have a rare brain disorder, that doctors don't understand yet. While it does cause problems, there is a new normal and there is still happiness. I am happy anyway.
So even if bad things were to happen, you'll be okay. 🌸
But of course I hope it's temporary and that you'll recover soon. 💛💛

I learned that if you place your thumb on your tragus to cover your ear canal then place four fingers at the base of your head and neck, you then press hard on all fingers for 20 seconds and it should give you relief for a while.
Do look it up beforehand or ask your doctor but it helped my partner since they were born with a hole in their ear canal!

I had sudden hearing loss back in 2008 and was eventually diagnosed with Cogans Disease, which is rare. I tried a course of Lasix (diuretic) and then steroids. I recovered most of my hearing however my ENT doctor told me diet can greatly impact sudden hearing loss. The biggest thing to avoid is sugar. There are web sites with what to eat and what not to eat when you have sudden hearing loss. Hope you get better soon!

I had incredibly debilitating tinnitus for about a year and it was the lowest point I’ve been, all I could hear was a high pitch noise when it was quiet and then even when people would talk it would be a whistle over the top of their voices. Like someone whistling everytime I heard any noise, music, tv, cars going by. It drove me nuts, finding videos like yours where it was just you looking in prop shops and making your recipes. It helped. I also watched drinks being made in cafes and asmr type videos.
After about a year the sound disappeared and now I just have a little high pitched noise in the quiet moments and sometimes my ear feels like it’s bubbling inside when I watch shows on my phone or am in a room with a speaker. It’s become much easier to deal with and tbh, it may have been stress.
Because my hearing I was told, was perfect.
So im completely in support of you and please don’t give up even in those hard moments, try and find a light x

I got diagnosed with Meniere’s disease on my 20th birthday. I started getting hearing loss, tinitus and severe vertigo at age 17 but the doctor ignored my symptoms and said I was going deaf. I know what it is like to worry about losing your hearing but if anything technology keeps getting better little by little to help accommodate us.

As someone who’s been through the gambit with hearing issues for years, the doctor has always recommended a low salt diet, sometimes hard to maintain. I lost most of my hearing in the left ear and still have about 30% in the right ear. I also suffer from tinnitus, sometimes it actually sounds like music.
I have a cochlear hearing aid and it allows me to have a somewhat normal life. I worked in IT as a senior analyst, many meetings and travel, lots of phone meetings or zoom style meetings, I was able to continue with this, the stress from work caused other issues, so I decided to retire a couple years early.
I coach youth programs, I work with power tools on home projects. Life continues. What I have done is turn on close captions on the TV and other devices like the iPad.
Listen to your doctor, try what is now available and hopefully, the hearing loss lessens or ,gets better. Adapt to your new condition and make the most out of your life. Try using small ear plugs to help deaden noise in a loud environment, I did wear these for a few concerts.

CozyGirl, I don't know if you have already, but did they do an MRI scan yet? I would be really surprised if not as these symptoms also match the Acoustic neuroma. With quick changes like this its worth investigating as it progresses quickly. I'm so glad you have CozyBoy, he seems so worried and taking good care of you. I'm sending you thousands of hugs and lots of love, you will get through this and you will heal ❤❤❤❤❤

I had tinnitus, and my doctor thought it may have been from having had covid. I have found that a low-carb diet, reducing stress, and exercising has nearly resolved it. Keep up your healthy eating, and I know that your health issues will improve. I also wanted to say I love all of your recipes! i am even able to make them in the USA, and made strawberry milk with my daughter yesterday using almond milk since I am keto. Keep up the amazing work!

I'd be asking for a head scan, and for them to start looking into migraines. I trust they made sure your blood pressure is ok.
They need to stop referring to the hearing loss as the disease when its a symptom.. They wanna treat a symptom instead of work a little harder to find what is causing it.

I went to an ENT in March because I had tinnitus in one ear. I'm a lot better now. I hope you get better too! ❤

My cousin had mid-ear migraine and occasional tinnitus, she did cupping therapy right above her ears and her condition got improved by 90%! Do every year in the fall season she does it now and it rarely bothers her anymore! And i’ve also heard great things about patients with mid-ear problems improving their symptoms by acupuncture so i really recommend those healthy therapies!
