Why is it that with a bit of effort I can see David Tennant behind that red hair but however hard I try I can't see Michael Sheen just Aziraphale in that halo of white hair?
The cool thing about playing a literal immortal character is that all their other roles could just be aziraphale and Crowley especially if it’s a period piece
I want a video essay on how much of a bastard Aziraphale really is because he's always doing the "good" thing but it's rarely ever the "right" thing and crowley is always having to get his hands dirty (metaphorically speaking) and clean up after him to let him have the moral high ground because the angel STILL believes heaven is good even after they tried to destroy him
Sassy Azi is the best Azi. ❤️ I really do love how the angel is the truly bitchy one, and the demon is the one with the heart of gold (even if he'd rather be smited/smote/smitten than admit it). And they both are so wonderful for it. 🥰

The Level of sass when he draws out AZIRAPHALE, to correct Fufu, is OFF the charts!! It's honestly my favourite Azi line in all 2 seasons, and Neil/Michael are gonna have a tough job topping it in s3!
It really is a testament to David that he can play Michael playing Aziraphale playing Crowley and make it visually distinct from just David playing Crowley. That man would be the coolest friend in the world he is so damn talented.
But *just enough* of a bastard. :) You know, on reflection, ALL the angels are bastards. They're conniving and selfish and cruel and completely lacking in compassion. In some ways, Az is the exception for actually being Good. Or, I guess, at least all the Archangels are bastards. Thinking about it, we haven't really met any other "regular" angels... just Az and Muriel. Muriel is sweet and naive and innocent... so maybe it really is just the Archangels that are dirty bastard amoral slimeballs, and regular Angels are their naive patsies. In which case, the Metatron was actually quite accurate in his assessment of Az's being deserving of promotion to Supreme Archangel... despite being Good, he's just enough of a bastard to be dirty enough to run Heaven. So it will be interesting to see how this plays out. (For the record I don't actually think that's what the Metatron sincerely believes. He's totally using and manipulating Az for some deeper chicanerie)
I think the Metratron wants to split up Azi and Crowley because they’re too powerful together. Remember when they both did half a miracle and it ended up being so powerful that it alerted heaven? It was clear to me that the Metratron set it up so that they fought and split up.
I want this too. I want the reason to stem from something *serious* happening to Crowley, possibly due to Heaven somehow, and I want him to lose his fucking *mind* !!! I want him to turn into a "Get my damned man back", badass, book loving tornado of love and wrath.
