Man actually went "Hey, you know what would be scarier than ONE gigantic skeleton monster?"
Millions of gigantic skeleton monsters
*Monsters University theme starts*
This is getting out of hand.
@@MyDogDoingStuffIG *Upbeat Gospel music*
I love how there are cars driving across the bridge towards them! Their bosses wouldn't let them call off work. 😂
Fun Random Fact: A man survived the first atom bomb of Japan (Little Boy who he’d dropped on Nagasaki). He was seriously messed up and, despite his condition, went to his place of work in Hiroshima. The guy’s boss didn’t believe him when he tried to explain what happened in Nagasaki and got rude with him despite his visible injuries; it was then and there that the second atomic bomb dropped, which the man also survived. If you’re curious about this man, his name is Tsutomu Yamaguchi.
To be fair, maybe they have to go get their loved ones. In real life, people love to waste time in disasters, if not having to go get someone.
@@whatsup7535 True true
@@connorclemmons8698 Hiroshima was first (little boy), Nagasaki second (fat man). He went to Hiroshima, then went to Nagasaki to report it to his boss.
@@spacecat3198 He also didn't drop the bombs either.

Nah. It should be like, "Wake up! It's Monday morning. Get prepared for school!"
You would. It take super long for you to reach 10 blocks for them to reach in seconds. I know, I tried.

Imagine he turned the camera and one was literally behind him 💀
Bro I was thinking he'd turn the camera to the left and it'd be like 1000 feet away towering over him
That would either be hilarious or horrifying, no in between.
💀 indeed
Turns the camera, and he is one, lying on the ground trying to get a killer shot for his giant skellington Tik-Tok.
Ants that built their colony in the middle of a soccer feild :
If you can do this in VR, with cars and people fleeing etc, one day, if you work at it. This would be amazing. Please keep at it and whatever else you think of, this is so cool.
And if you could climb them too.
I love how long it takes for the sound of the footsteps to reach the cameraman, really sells the sells just how big these things are that they're that far away and still look enormous.
To up the realism, the artist should look into the Beirut explosion. The mechanical shock that traveled through the ground arrived many seconds before the pressure wave did. So there was this erie delay in a lot of videos were the round would rumble then a few seconds later the windows would blow in. It would be interesting to incorporate that into these kind of close up giant videos
Rumbling. Rumbling. It's coming! Rumbling. Rumbling.
BEWARE!!!!
COMING FOR YOU!!!

The delayed sound of the footsteps actually allows me to get a rough estimate of the general size of this thing.
So its around five seconds delay for the sound to reach us. Divide that by five and the skeleton is gonna be around a mile away, give or take a few hundred feet.
Next we gotta gustimate the angle from the point we stand to the top of the skeleton. Gonna say its 50° as we cant see 90° above us in this video. Which would otherwise allow us to use actual tools to get exacts.
Using our guestimate angle we can now start to imagine a invisible triangle where us to directly below the skeleton is one side. Directly below the skeleton to the top of its head is another and a third to bridge the top of its head to us.
We can easily fill in the angles by assuming the angle we are looking to the top of its head is 50°. From below it to the top of its head is straight up so its gonna be 90° and the final angle has to be 40° as all angles in a triangle must equal to 180°
Anyway saving the math because no one needs to watch me solve a math problem. All you need to know is using the distance from the skeleton as the bottom length if the triangles side and these angles we can figure out the height of the skeleton.
So our skeleton is gonna be in the ballpark of: 6293ft or 1918m
Again super rough estimate due to the high probability of the initial angle being wrong.
No matter how you out it though this thing is godly levels of massive.
Skeletons over a mile in height… egad…
The visual angle could be on mark or even off. But, just think about one thing. It is walking behind that building which means it is much farther away and still massive. Just be glad it is not walking in your direction. You trying to run away from it is like an ant trying to run away from you.
Wrong. The sound that is being heard is through the ground and therefore much faster. Obviously they are way more than a mile away considering the size of the city. Asuming a speed of 3km per second in ground (which is a slow estimate), it would put the distance at 15km which is more realistic. (sorry for the following mess it is hard to paste from a calculator and I don't feel like cleaning it up) tan(θ)=
adjacent
opposite
Where:
𝜃
=
6
0
∘
θ=60
∘
opposite
=
ℎ
opposite=h
adjacent

adjacent=15 km
So,
tan
(
6

∘
)
=
ℎ

tan(60

)=
15
h
Solve for h:
tan
(
6

∘
)
=
3
tan(60
∘
)=
3
So,
3
=
ℎ
15
3
=
15
h
Multiply both sides by 15:
ℎ
=
15
3
h=15
3
ℎ
≈
15
×
1.732
h≈15×1.732
ℎ
≈
25.98
km
h≈25.98 km
So, the height of the object is approximately 25.98 km.
The first loud THUD made me think, "Shit, there's one behind me, isn't there?"
Whats crazy is that we as humans, despite our size, have the military capabilities to reduce these things to atoms.
Provided a lack of supernatural resistance to such weapons, that is...
It's a hard political sell if they're walking through a city, though.

RUMBLING, RUMBLING

Beware
Something about the image of giant monsters over city skylines fills me with a profound sense of relief.
Peace filled with dread. Weird feeling.
Usual worries of income, taxes, work, school, etc. would be gone. For however long. That’s a good enough feeling.

This seems like it would be the easiest apocalypse to survive. These things are too big to register people running on the ground. Plus you can see them coming from literal miles away. Gives you plenty of time to get into a vehicle and drive out the way.
It would be much more threatening if there were more of them. Instead of them targeting one person at a time, they could just destroy the city by simply walking until everything is crushed
Scary, kinda reminds me of bloodborne
This caused an ancient memory to be unlocked, I played AQW when I was young and it had a boss named Odokuro. Im 24 now and I was 10 back then, I feel damn old right now.

If you want to estimate size somewhat, look at tge lead skellie. When walking, it's legs go behind the building. So, estimate that size of the building and how far it is away from it and realize that it does not have to step on you to kill you. Just need to be close enough for the shock wave to get you.
Enjoy the rest of your day in the city. 😉
