Man , it’s always tough when any videos end with Bill because they are always great . Great video . Been following Bill and family since SRC , a few years before Bill stated OMG . Love me a SBC .
The old man was worried being filmed and being in a video he didn't have editorial control or so say and how he might have been portrayed! But you did him well! Enjoying the video! These sorta "smaller" creators need more recognition
I've been following Bill since it was the SRC channel, then they started Old Man's Garage, SRC is Billy's now & G2G is Tommy & Alison. Love them all, OMG videos are awesome with drone footage, Bill's way of his voice overs really holds your attention! Bill's Malibu reminds me of my Chevelle I had in the 80's, it was bad ass! It had A/C, all the luxuries, and would blow away most anything on the streets! Street Racing was the thing we did every weekend! I sure miss them days, I miss my 71 Chevelle SS the most!
This is a super fantastic video. I just love the performance of Bill’s Malibu. Love Bill’s and Billy Kid’s videos. I can relate although I am a couple decades older than Bill. At 82, I still love hot rodding, drag racing and anything performance, especially Chevy performance. I grew up with small block Chevys. Had a 55 Chevy 210 2 door sedan back in the late 60’s with a built 66 331ci Corvette sb, 500+hp, 4 speed, 4.11 street (4.88 strip) ran the quarter in 69 best 11.96 at 114+mph. In early 70’s, I also had a 64 Chevelle 2 door hardtop with a slightly modified 68 302 Z28 motor, 4 speed and a 66 GTO 3.90 posi rear end that was a heck of a street machine for 10 years before I sold it. In 1989, my son and I bought a 72 Chevelle 2 door hardtop at Fall Carlisle for him. 6 months later his Chevelle sported a 383ci sb with a turbo 400 trans and a 4.10 posi 12 bolt rear. He still owns this car today but it has gone through a monumental amount of changes. Pro street car. It also sports a 468BB, race prepared turbo 400 trans, coil over ladder bar suspension [3 link], and 4.11 dana posi rear. This story could go on infinitum but I will stop here. Long live small block [and big block] Chevy performance.
I know exactly what Bill was talking about when he mentioned the sound to his Dad's tri-power 55 Chevy. I have fond memories of either tri-power, or dual quads with minimal air cleaners consisting of little more than a wire screen. The sound is visceral and you never forget it.
Thanks for the video. Bill is definitely a cool ol man. Congratulations on getting an interview with him, you did a good job. Looks like you had a fun time.
Love watching that family. Bill talking about what he would tell his dad as a kid feels like me with my dad. We have a 1940 Pontiac Sport Coupe with a Pontiac 421 tri power and a 4 speed. As a kid I would sit on the edges of the front seats between my parents and tell him to go fast. My head would snap back through 1st gear. Now that car sits in my garage and it's my son telling me to go fast. In fact my profile pic is the car. Also have a video of it that I posted.
Ol Bill and the boys and miss Vickie molly and alison theyre all amazing great ppl. Bill gets a hard time for his so called grumpiness but its only bcuz hes worked his ass off his entire life to be able to provide his family with something when hes gone and do whats right by them and in this day and age ppl are too quick to forget how life was not all that long ago nd still is for the normal part of society. Not everyone is blessed with hand outs there entire life some of us have to miss alot of family moments just to provide for that family. But this family is such an amazing group of ppl the relationship between bill and billy is me and my dad to a T and i love it.
My dad is a motor head i ended up with the motor bug and one of my brothers did to we like any classic car or anything to do with a car I thank that's why I like hix channel so much
Bill I agree with you 💯. I grew up on old skool vehicles and that is all enjoy driving. This new stuff is nothing or will never compare to old skool. Like Bill says, I don't care what other people think.
I met Bill, Billy, Tommy and Allison 4 years ago at my local track. Bill is really a great guy and great sense of humor. Since then I've ran into them a few more times a big event in Rockingham NC called Dig or Die and met Vickie, Rob and Matt. What a great family. Bill and I grew up the same way and we see each other there's always a very interesting, hilarious conversation in the mix.
Cool video. I watched all those movies as a kid and my Dad was in. Mopar club. He had a 71 Dart with a 440 in it and every time he would floor it I felt like I was coming off the seat 😂. I had no chance of being anything other than a car guy as well. Damn glad to have grown up that way too.
I’m the same age as Bill and was influenced by the same things as a kid. Man it’s crazy that since I started driving I have always wanted to build a car like this. Go anywhere car that you don’t give up anything like AC or drivability that can beat anything on the street. I even wanted a Nova to drag race just like the one he has owned for 30 years. Great car, man and video👍👍
Man this was the best! Bill @theoldmansgarage is a class act and has a way of relaying the love of hotrods to the audience. Outstanding job to both of you men🫡
Man I’ve followed src from there first video I was there at the beginning and have been at the races when they where there I’ve spoke to them very nice people.
Great guy! I got to meet him and a few of the family at Sick Week Ga. I wish i had got a chance to ride with MrBill then. Malibu is a badass streetcar. Ps watch out for his Monte coming out!
New subscriber here! I enjoyed the way you let them speak, and aren't trying to capitalize off negativity or someone else's viral moment! Keep grinding brother!
HE IS DREAMING. THAT THING COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAD THAT MUCH OIL GREASE DIRT ON THE OLD MOTOR WHEN THEY PULLED IT OUT WITH 25K MILES. ALSO THE STEERING LINKAGE AND BALL JOINTS NEEDED REPLACEMENT. NICE STORY THOUGH
That be the best Uber ever but I have to have a newer model car to be a Uber even tho the Malibu is mint it's too old to be a Uber that would be awesome tho.
You’re gifted with a great talent on interviewing people. This channel is awesome, keep it up. Watching from San Francisco California, these videos make me want to pickup and move to Florida. What part of Fl was this filmed?
Man , it’s always tough when any videos end with Bill because they are always great . Great video . Been following Bill and family since SRC , a few years before Bill stated OMG . Love me a SBC .

I really think Bill's channel is going to be huge. Definitely one of the best channels on the tubes of you 🔥
Bill explains it best on how we got to be gearheads !!!
The old man was worried being filmed and being in a video he didn't have editorial control or so say and how he might have been portrayed! But you did him well! Enjoying the video!

Appreciate the kind words!
He was so worried.
