Really impressive show of technique by the leader, pulled up all the guys singlehandedly, transferred them quickly and then turned the raft straight in style. This guy has really trained well.
And all that in less than 5 minutes!

@ should've been under 1 minute. I've seen it done in 27 seconds with 6 clients + guide.

@@pmaster1173 Perhaps you have not tried rafting, getting on the boat is different technique, And when you are wearing lifejacket no other floating method is required. one rule is that never ever leave your paddle, tightly wear your helmet and life jacket. paddle will help you to steer in currents and helmet shall protect you from any head injury.
Or at least when you cant lift your own weight.

I have done river rafting at the same place but these Rapids are quite huge ... seems like they did it around peak of rainy season which is ideally not allowed .. nevertheless the trainer did an amazing job
Yes, it was after a heavy rain (6 days of continuous rain), had to wait for 2 hrs - no approval. When rapids reduced a bit, we were allowed.

Sometimes, the authorities do not even supply helmets!! When asked, they said that rafters need to ask for helmets 😲.
We were just lucky that we did not hit our heads against the rocks. My son got his back badly scratched against a rock.
There is absolutely no protection against pointed branches jutting out from the trees onto the path of the rushing river.
TOTALLY UNAVOIDABLE AS A HOBBY/ FUN EVENT!!! Try zip-lining instead if you really are looking for an adventurous activity👌.

V did rafting in shivpuri Rishikesh 12 km it was too good ... I think half of the rafters were just sitting u need raft to dodge those waves.... It's a teamwork .. anyways they got good adventure.. not by rafting but how to save urself from drowning😂😂

I also rafted here last year and it was breathtaking. The river is shallow and full of rocks that why makes it dangerous. All instructors are from himachal and very well trained. We also faced similar situation and our instructor handled very well. This is worth visiting every year.

Most of these jokers thought it’s gonna be like a water park.

The flip of the raft is not the problem, but means of rescue & time taken to get the raft back upright need to be improved . This ☝️kind is not for the Zambezi river
