It's 50/50 staying alive because alot of negative reviews on it on steam and it's barely holding itself up, I say if bring it to PlayStation and Xbox it would get alot of love cause console don't get the cool games like this usually it's a puzzle game or single story player game we get
Use direct control on them help a lot on précision ! also, remember 1 well placed infantry value 10 bad placed one ! Line of sight and cover is a big part on inf, i love playing it :) Stealth units have a detection range, and basic inf have it too, if you advance prone it will be way harder for the enemy to see you building, bush and forest help too use prone extensively to be harder to hit and get more précision
suppression mechanic is essential to assault position, make sure to have some sort of mg tank or even motard to suppress the enemy before going in after that use smoke whit your Pm inf to close the last meters safely Look at 12:50 Hans made did it perfectly :)
I think that in the combined arms mode (as opposed to battalions) you have access to more “build points” per echelon as well as command points. It ends at 50 at echelon 3. I would have to verify to make sure i am 100% right I haven’t played combined arms before but I checked out the army building for it. Edit: combined arms seems the go to if you want to play low player count. There is more variety and more unit per player but it’s probably harder to manage too ^.^’

I do wonder if the meta is still Russian and Germany. In assault squad 2 British, American and Japanese tanks were too weak to face off against Germans and Russian unless you really really knew what you were doing along with a bit of luck on the shell penetrations. One match I had playing as Germans I took out 12 American tanks with just one panther, most I one shotted though I had to micromanaged the tank heavily. It was the same with some of the others games as well because the armor on most of the German or Russian tanks by default had thicker armor and heavier guns. Have to remember most of German tanks that were deployed and destroyed were on the eastern front. I mean Kursk alone.

I have played the coh franchise since it came out, I even have the box, and i havent even played men of war and I know its better just from gameplay

Have they fixed the population cap yet? Where you don’t get nailed when you crew enemy at guns etc?
You mean crewing AT guns doesn't cost pop? Haven't seen that happen during beta and now the AT guns are so unpopular I didn't have a chance to see it.

Does this game have a PvP focus more than GoH? Or is it just vs AI as well?
