It goes without saying that Telos Boltor is seen as the better option due to crit stats and mag size but I picked the Prime for Old Times. Also Second Evolutions stacks 3 times not 5 apologies on that one.
Couldn’t you just inc both variants if you have enough resources? That’s what I planned to do
@@doootheytho9821 No, you only get to pick boltor once each week afaik.
@@UnknownRex oh ok I thought once you obtained it from the circuit then I t would be in cavaleros market as an option forever for you to inc, no matter the variant. That’s unfortunate
I thought you saw a 'three' looming on the horizon and changed the script on the fly to avoid it :P
If you have both in the durviri missions it will default to the prime version when it comes up I'm reading on forums just so y'all know
This might sound odd, but I'm kind of glad the incaron form is just a better boltor, rather than a grenade launcher or something. It feels right for the boltor.
No I 1000% agree
Wtf are you saying? It's a slash shotgun...
@@DavidUtau yes but it still handles exactly like the boltor. It's just juiced with multishot
Should have given it a vortex around every tenth round lol
I love that they went there.
"Yo, dawg, we heard you like boltor..."
Boltor's incarnon form doesn't need anything fancy- It's just even more boltor, and I think that's both hilarious and extremely fun.
Correction, the ammo efficiency stacks 3 times, it lasts 5 seconds.
It's a 60% efficiency at max stacks.
The dev team are just really knocking updates out of the park. It's so refreshing and I hope they keep at this kind of stuff.
I'm impressed by the accuracy of the enemy's ragdoll at the start lol. He's taking you with him!!
I can confirm the Incarnon Lex Prime is incredible.
Good to know! This is my nostalgia weapon
Same. It's a beast. Especially with Hemorrhage
I chose it as the first incarnon to unlock because I wanted to use it as early as possible. I yearn to hear gunshots that tear off your eardrums
going to know I am going for it and the mace
@LordPhoenix hell, most things don't live long enough for hemorrhage to proc lol
My main reason to choose the prime is Teshins cave seems to put the prime version of the weapon up above all else. IE if you build the TElos boltor, but have the prime, the prime will still be your option in Duvirir/Circuit
For me it's been the Akbolto Prime. That weapon shows up like 80% of the time O.O
I've seen this so can confirm it. I own both the Rakta and Prime Cernos, but only seen Cernos Prime appear as a choice in Teshin's Cave.
I can confirm this to some extent but the main difference I end up seeing is I actually had a run where both my copy of the Hek and Kuva Hek showed up at the same times as options in the cave. Almost every other weapon always shows up with it's prime or "highest" variant if you have it.
I'm not certain why it differentiates my Hek and Kuva Hek as separate but my guess is it might have something to do with the Steel Meridian mod for Hek or something.
That intro was just PERFECT.
You have to post your Spotify play list one day every Intro and outro you have ever had has been a banger
Songs are always in the videos description!
@@TacticalPotato I know that I mean your personal one if you have one
Ah, the Boltor! I remember when I first got it way back in 2014, and cried of laughter because of the way it made the enemies fly into the walls! I played the regular Boltor for a long time until I got the Soma (please incarnate the Soma DE, it’s still my most used gun even after not using it at all anymore). Same with bows, I died laughing! These kinds of weapons are so fun to use.
Soma is getting an incarnon adapter in two weeks :)
@@richardkerstetter4381 Word!? That’ll give me a reason to actually play Duviri!
Used the Telos Boltor because I realized I didn't have the prime and I'm absolutely loving it. Takes me back to when I first started playing Warframe, that sound of this weapon has always been my fave
The weapon I was the most hyped about to turn into an incarnon ! Always loved it !!!
Next, I hope for the torid because Torid was a beast.
Torid is next week or week after
@@TacticalPotato I hope it will come sooner than later ! I'm pretty hyped for the return of that weapon.
@@TacticalPotatoits Next week!, gonna take that first along with either Atomos or Dual Ichor, havent decided yet
I went Telos Boltor. I've got a 140% Multishot and 136% CD. Slapped on Galvanized Argon Scope, mostly Red Crits with some orange. Normal form is mostly orange with some reds. Absolutely destroys everything. Can't wait to try it with Nidus Teeming Virulence.
As someone who had loved the Kohm since I got into WF and still count it in my top 5 favorite/most used weapons, this incarnon form is in no way a letdown. I love my new Latron and Strun, the AoE damage is insane and the sheer joy from seeing tons of big numbers never quite gets old. But having the Boltor just essentially turn into a space AA-12 is everything I could've asked for from this weapon and more. Can't wait to get my hands on it later this week
Very fun. The feeling of just spewing out endless amounts of bolts is fun
Tbh I kinda wanted a zakti-style explosive rivet thumper for the incarnon, but it still feels great even without any gimmicks
That transition in the beginning of the video ROFL
I got lex prime and it just becomes a plasmor which is honestly boring but extremely strong. Boltors form looks good to me cause I was getting worried that every Incarnon was going to become a AoE nuke gun. As fun as it is to see everything die in one shot, that will eventually get old. I was actually hoping for more imaginative alts from all the incarnons so far.
Well that was pretty nostalgic. I wonder if anything is gonna happen to Soma Prime so we can start the ancient debate again
It's incarnon is in 2 weeks time
I got a multishot damage riven so doesn't matter which version or what stats i go for it will be nuts
... I had no idea that the choice of which weapon you applied the adapter to resulted in a change in what evolution options you were presented with, guess I'll be looking a bit more closely going forward.
Best. Intro. Ever. xD
"Like sneezing with a mouthful of popcorn." I lost it 😂😂 This made my day
That was bloomin quick!
Wow. I have a multi/cd w/neg riv that will be perfect for this thing. I was looking forward to it but now I'm really snagging that in my tree after work and going to town in the undercoat! Lol
What are the recommendations for riven roll? I have one increasing status and multishot, but I guess crit build is better?
I choose telos and i can confirmed i don't regret my choice, only red crit 🤘
Look at him using Excalibur Prime in the intro, cheeky.
We actually getting "boltor vs soma" videos again, we live in blessed times :D
that one last heavy gunner: I will not go without you...
Most people are only gonna play steel path up to lvl 1k. With that in mind i'm very happy about incarnoms, cause tenno are gonna be able to play with a style that they like instead of being locked in options.
I'm so glad it didn't become something it wasn't. I actually prefer the Braton Prime over the Strun and Latron for that reason (though Braton does get a very small AoE). It feels like they become an overcharged version of the weapon, and I love it. Not all needs to become an AoE weapon.
It's great we have such wild cards now where some weapons become completely different mechanics, while some just become overcharged versions of themselves.
I was hoping for its incarnon having some diferent form of aoe like ricochet or something like that
i love incarnon weapons. good job DE!
Keep up the good work, Papa Potato Prime.
I love the incan weapons it can make your favorite weapons even stronger without having to hunt for a riven or special mods
Apparently the Telos Boltor has innate punch through in incarnon form.
Unless it's bugged and its showing it but it doesn't have it.
But a bug in warframe would never happen
I'm loving it's incarnon form because well it helps the gun work in base form perfectly and even with the incarnon form their are still weapons that out perform it. So they didn't make it broken to complete.
Though broken would be the Lex. I've used the lex for most of my Warframe playthrough only ever not using it as often when the laetum released. And I played on switch even sence Warframe launched on it. The Lex incarnon feels like it could use a small nerf nothing major. because it just out damages my laetum by a lot. (And I'm totally not salty that players who shat on the Lex calling it garbage are the same people going to be ruining it's riven disposition next prime)
I had enough for one evolution, so im going for the strun
I had no idea each variant has their own evolutions kinda want that for the first incarnons
Yeah they change depending on variant
I was a little disappointed at first with conventional builds, then I had a lightbulb moment. I have something similar done with my soma prime and it's just nuts. If you could humor me, give this build a try:
(Amalgam) Serration, Galvanized Chamber, Aptitude, and Scope, Crit Delay, Vital Sense, Primed Shred, Rime Rounds. I have terminal velocity in exilus with reload as the only different evolution from yours. My arcane; Primary Frostbite.
VERY SP Viable. Haven't tried armor strip yet. It's insane. Quick burst, they stop moving and bleed out. Acolytes evaporate.
So glad I hoarded a boltor riven. I used the telos boltor though as I had no forma in the prime.
Braton prime hits even more like a truck
Greatest and funny intro😂
And this week's melee weapons are I'm guessing another complete snoozefest. Ceramic Dagger is the only one so far that looks somewhat interesting with its evolution where Primary kills give it higher initial combo - if that bonus is mission-long, anyway.
The new mechanic is the triple multishot
And we are back to 2015
i regret selling my boltor riven years ago :(
have 2 monster boltor rivens, one for the Telos and the other for the Prime. The Prime one's negative is negative slash.... And the Incarnon adds slash... So the decision is easy for me.
You realize -slah gunna lower ur slash proc u get from incarnon
@@darrelphillips4907 yup. which makes the decision easy, ill be upgrading the Telos Boltor. The riven I use on that is negative zoom, a non factor. The riven I use the prime with the negative slash modifier doesn't affect the boltor prime at all as well, but it will hurt the incarnon upgrade. So an easy decision could reforma and just use the one riven, but not gonna bother with that.
The real problem is not absense of OP gimmick I feel, its more about that its fully depends on bleed procs, when the game require you crit weapons most of time.
you can do both you know.... Hunter Munitions is a thing
@@adriansue8955 yea, I dont remember bleed as dmg type being useful for most encounters that dont care about status procs except liches
nice intro
The only thing I heard was the boltor prime is back 😎😎😎😎
How do you know what the incarnon weapon incarnon gimmick is going to be cause so many people are picking the "right choices" seemingly blind i know we can see the perks but in talking the other stuff
You can't. Just wait for someone to upload it on youtube
We can't see. Its just a leap of faith tbh
In similar videos, folks compared the discovery phase we're in, in regards to the incarnon forms, to the Borderlands series. When a legendary item drops, the only clue you get to what it does, is some red text, pop culture reference, in the description. After using it a bit you may get an idea.
The prime is actually the better option due to higher fire rate higher base damage and the status but his build doesn’t reflect the strengths of the prime version cause he doesn’t build the 60 60 mods. The incarnon evolution in the final tree helps the boltor prime hit the crit chance it needs for hunter munitions to be viable then add in its status chance for good galvanized aptitude gun and instant viral procs
Does that outweigh the bonus passive of the Truth effect, which is guaranteed AOE gas, heals, and parkour velocity?
@@FelisImpurrator there is a bunch of different ways to heal in warframe the gas aoe falls off at level 70 star chart parkour velocity is ok I guess
@@tannerkennedy4192 The AOE is for the extra guaranteed AOE proc for gun CO, not for damage.
@@FelisImpurrator With the cooldown on syndicate effects, they end up not being that strong. 1 gas proc every 30 somthing seconds isn't that powerful
Yeah I was wondering why he is saying the Telos is a better choice. The Prime is overall better, his build seemed to kill enemies way too slow in comparison to mine.
Seems kinda strange, a single target weapon become a stronger single target weapon. All the other incarnon upgrades have some form of aoe to them
Not all of them need aoe
what about phenmor?
Silly Potato, you said you went for Projectile Speed but the video had the Reload Speed option selected
The video was just highlighting the evolutions. I settled on proj speed
I'm glad there's no new firing mode, giving an AoE blast to everything is just lazy and boring. I wanted the Boltor to be viable again and that's exactly what I've got. Hoping for a similar treatment for the Soma, they better not be attaching a rocket launcher to my favorite bullet hose.
I chose telos boltor incarnon full auto shotgun
Drop serration or the viral for shred then haha , I only do HM with heat mod
i second this. leaning more towards dropping serration for shred prime
New archon shredder maybe
nah - cant run status builds against archons and direct slash is negative against armor
please dont do that..
How do I get this gun I have OG Boltor Prime not this new evolving one
Steel path circuit in duviri
Is a permanent blueprint and weapon
Me waiting for the burston
The real hood classic
@@upsidonkey9570 Really sad when DE nerfed it's fire rate. makes it feel totally different.
@@adriansue8955 use the mod I forgot what’s it’s called
@@KaiserReb Entrophy Burst. ...I was already using that mod from before the nerf. still feeling it
Just got back in the game after a few years off... Helminth unlocked now and must say this game is really satisfying at the moment.
This very cool but between the incarnon braton prime and incarnon boltor prime. Which perform better. Which kills faster, and if so. Which is better for high level missions
I would say that by the looks of things, the boltor does more damage, but the braton has small explosive rounds, so it's better for dealing with groups. I'd say both are totally solid options, and both shred, so really it's probably preference. I've been sitting on an amazing riven for my braton for years, and now I finally have a chance to use it haha.
Can someone tell me what does the bronco does?
Links shots in a radius around the initial target.
@@TacticalPotato so it's like lato. Ok thanks m8
I've had 2 rivens laying around that I never touched because either:
a. I didn't understand how modding worked
b. the stats weren't that great
c. a bit of both
one is for the Magistar
the other was for Tombfinger, and I realized not too long ago it was a near god roll
trust me, you still don't understand how modding works
its not a 'near god roll'
@Adrian Sue and why would that be? There is such a thing as god rolls for rivens.
@@Movienut1992 not with stats like those
@@adriansue8955 stats like what? I don't see any stats posted.
WHAT DA HELL THE FIRST AND ONLY GOOOD BOLTOR BUILD ??? but you doing news stuff ... am i born wrong ?
got this vid recommended and befor that i saw a bunch of trash reviews about the boltor with trashy garbage builds but yours seems pretty legit, did you maybe tryd the 60/60 mods ? would it perform better or is 90% must have ? i have only 2 forma on it and a riven, sry for my bad english, i still learning its pretty hard .
@@AK-mf7fw 60/60 are good enough.
Latron and Strun were extremely weak compared to the boltor, all varients considered.
Thats why they got such busted incarnons.
Im perfectly happy with this upgrade.
Strun prime was miles better than boltor prime. Its like DE forgot it existed
@@DeeJay5K what I meant is that it never broke the meta or ruled it like the boltor and soma did back in the old days.
Probably biased incarnon due to that
@@joshuathomasverghese1341 fair enough
well i give it about a day before this gets nerfed
Its single target, its not getting nerfed.
Its kinda crap considering the warframe meta just based on that.
@@WhirlwindHeatAndFlash Its DE were talking about there is no logic to the nerfs everything just gets nerfed. Imagine DE is Opera and shes giving out cars but instead its nerfs.
I do genuinely think Boltor incarnon should've gotten riccoche, not explosive, but Riccoche (or however tf you spell that)
I don't WANT the Incarnons to have "new unique mechanics." I want them to make my favorite obsolete gun not so obsolete anymore. In this way, the Incarnon Boltor simply being "more Boltor" is kinda exactly what I wanted. Meanwhile, if I liked the Strun or the Latron at all, the new firing mechanics are NOT the Strun or the Latron. They're... generic AoE explosion spam weapons. Good ones, but... they're different weapons.
I hope to hell they don't do anything wonky to the Soma. Soma's been my favorite gun since they nerfed the Boltor to recognize the existence of armor back in the day. I don't want it to do silly things. I want it to do Soma things.
Telos all day
I was so exited for Boltor and even prepared a full built Telos Boltor, but it looks so boring that i think it will was for the next rotation
They gave latron Boltor old passive why and made boltor like any normal weapon
Fine if you have nostalgic reasons for using it. But other than that, this can't really compete with the actual top (and AoE) weapons. Perfectly usable, though. Like many other weapons.
Warframe weapons are ridiculous at this point. Every single weapon just shreds everything is like half a second.
Every week 2 more OP weapons… not sure if this is really good for the game
Honestly I think the real winners this week are Ceramic Dagger and Lex. While Boltor's cool, Dagger's a stat stick capable of one-shotting Acos and Lex is Lex. We already got our god primary in Latron.
Low dps so bad incarnon
