@Sandstheskeleton he specifically remembers if you ALLOW him to. Remember, at the end of the true pacifist route, he’ll tell you to make him forget if you decide to take away their happy ending, hence why it becomes a True Reset.
@@justsans.It's specifically stated that you, the player can perform a true reset. The Player's True Reset and Determination's Reset are completely different
In Undertale if you kill Flowey after a neutral route and reset back to your save point just before Asgore's fight, Flowey comments on you killing him despite the player having more determination than Flowey
@@maila319 Wait, was that confirmed by the creators? Either way, the reset done in the video happens at the Apartment complex, which is after the Martlet fight but before encountering Asgore, so Clover is not yet at the end of the genocide run
@@lloydfs5114 I am just guessing it is a true reset because Flowey goes back to being more determined than Clover and no one remembers Clover's genocides. Either that or the devs considered the player to be non-canon to UTY.
Some Undertale saving/loading lore: you can't reload to a point in time before you got the ability to save and load. Given that Flowey died, and Clover only just got the ability to save and load, the only person who could diagetically perform a reset back to the start at this point is the player (since those rules don't apply to the player). On the post genocide screen with the options to "RESET" or "STAY" , choosing "RESET" is implied to be an action made entirely by the player.
ok so i think when clover kills flowey and resets they reset to the point where they didnt had enough determination to save so basically when you reset you give flowey save file back
I think if we base it off normal UTs canon, clover shouldn’t have been able to reset to when they fell in the underground. Their “starting point” would’ve been when they overwrote floweys file, right before they killed him, because that’s when they were the most determined. Even if they somehow managed to get to the beginning, the both of them should. be able to remember. (Don’t take this as me grilling the game for not sticking to canon. I love UTY) UTY ignores this though and gives flowey his SAVE ability and erases clovers memories though lol. (Not that the game really sticks to canon) Also ive seen people say there’s no special dialogue because geno ending isn’t canon anyway, so take that as you will.
No. It’s actually pretty disappointing, literally nobody but Flowey remembers anything, and all he does is give new dialogue at the end of the first four or so neutral routes and abridge his starting monologue here. No unique reactions for pacifist or genocide
Oh and another thing. How, if i can, like reset the data? I don't mean a normal reset, but like reset all runs so it acts like im barely starting the game for the first time?
It's not lore. It's not that Clover's reset can effect Flowey. It's just because Genocide isn't canon to UTY and the devs aren't gonna consider every possibility and create an entire unique train of dialogue from something barely anyone will do
Flowey is portrayed as the one who is able to save and reset for you, so he doesn't think you actually remember you killed him.
also, at that point, flowey cant even save for ya since you have a very high lv, which is why he forgets
@@TheRealAxolotlAnimatesthen why does he remember things in undertale?

It doesn't make sense that Flowey let you go for another geno run after the first one.

@lemons38 Then why does Flowey go back to being more determined than Clover after a genocide run though?
Clover/the player caused a semi true reset(my head cannon)

what happened: the game still gets updates, so maybe they will add a dialogue soon
I can't believe it. Flowey doesn't remember you're genocides

or right after the Sans fight in Genocide (Flowey goes from scared to wondering why you stopped)
Clover also canonically can't remember resets so this makes sense

Flowey in Undertale Yellow is literally undying

Ok so im new to Undertale Yellow, but i really need to know, does commiting a Genocide Route cause the game to remember like in Undertale?
