Sorry about the weird camera angles/blurs at times. It was my first time using this type of camera. I'll be sure to fix it next time :D Have you guys ever tried to practice languages in public like this before? What was it like?
@@Ghost____Rider Yeah, last night before I went to bed I checked youtube and saw a bunch of weird "download adobe for free" videos posted by Cole... I assume he fixed it already, but I thought he'd at least mention something on his community tab or in the beginning of this video, but nothing happened. I hope he talks about it in a future video.
I LOOVE this concept and honestly anything related to people's reaction to polyglots doing their thing. Keep up with the great work and it's really nice to have u back
Proud of you Cole for going outside of your comfort zone and doing this type of video! Was an awesome result, do more face-to-face interactions like this!
Take advantage of your 20's, making connections! I myself, am pretty introverted but, I forced myself, to make connections and talk to people through teenage-hood and young adulthood. I knew, I was only getting one shot at this ! I was mentally, drained a lot but it was worth it. My only regret/mistake was after, I graduated college, I didn't listen to my gut and make language learning a priority. Now, in my 30's, I am trying not to make the same mistake.
Great video Cole! I went to some places in Newark and made a video similar to this, speaking to Brazilians in Portuguese. I was nervous too! But was really happy that I did it in the end 😅 Happy to see u try this out too!
I hope you do more collabs, be it with Ryan Hale again or other RUclipsrs. I suggest you reach out to Raúl Camarena III. He's an American language RUclipsr with a similar number of subscribers to you and has a few languages in common with you :)
@@ColeLangs Oh damn that's crazy. Be careful out there dude😆. Also I understand these outdoor videos are hard for you (or anyone!) but I really think you are on to something and you should keep pushing yourself. These vids do really well on YT and it's so cool to see you proving your skills out in the wild. Well done man
I made a few videos last summer in English, to show some of my international friends how my life is in Canada. I wanted to do it for a while but I was super-nervous! It was a nice day so, more and more people went to the boardwalk. I was thinking can people except me not be here today!
Yesss been waiting for this, and you definitely didn't disappoint! 🇧🇷🇹🇼😁😁 Btw I was wondering how you filmed this? I'm currently self-studying Amharic🇪🇹 to connect with local Ethiopians here in Denver🏙️🏞️ and was hoping to film and share some interactions as a tribute to Laoshu (R.I.P.🐁💙)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I filmed it with a 360 camera that I was carrying around. Probably not the best way to do it, but it worked alright for me haha
Hey Cole! Here is a suggestion for reaction videos. I have never seen anybody do this yet. Instead of speaking mandarin to people, you should go into a crowded restaurant and while waiting for you food, start writing a letter to a friend in chinese on a piece of paper. Try to get noticed by chinese people around you! This would be a different type of reaction I have never seen before!
You did great for your first time doing this, man I still gotta get passed my nerves. I always talk myself outta talking to other people in their language because I don’t think it’s something that people care about
Man, I remember when I first went out and spoke Vietnamese to the lady at this one restaurant in my hometown. It can definitely be a bit nerve-wracking the first time but everyone I've spoke to in another language in the US has been very friendly.
Brother, you've experienced a classic Laoshu505000 type of practicing a language. I recognize the shaky feel and the andrenaline rush 😀 but it's the best way of exercising language skills 😁
you should deffo start the first few sentences in English then just switch to their language without warning - the longer and more complex sentance you open with will get a crazier reaction
Sorry about the weird camera angles/blurs at times. It was my first time using this type of camera. I'll be sure to fix it next time :D

Is anyone gonna talk about the fact your account got hacked and posted weird adobe premier hacks and downloads???
@@TheHero0538 did it? When?

What the heck!!! Ryan follows this guy too 😊
Respect! When I can walk again normally, I hope to go out in NYC and do the same. IRL vids are always tricky for us introverts, keep it up man 🔥
Thank you so much Ikenna! You're the 🐐 and one of the OG creators who inspired me to do this thing in the first place. Get well soon man! 🙏

That Chinese guy was so savage 😭 but I guess that's his way of giving constructive criticism
The cashier was so nice though
Yes. This is a real good way to do your videos. So enjoyable.
