The moral of the story is that if you do a 24f motion input for a 14f start up command grab and actually catch someone with it, they will think you are an execution god and be afraid of you for the rest of the match. 3s is a very special game!

Oh my god it took FOREVER to make that part too. The editor I was using (Openshot) is so bootleg, and trying to adjust anything even one frame left or right lagged the hell out of my laptop every time. 16gb and this thing was on its knees! If you are a beginner or intermediate player, Kara command grab is probably something that should not be at the top of your list to learn. But if you feel that you’ve got the universal system mechanics and Q’s kit down, then Kara command grab is a genuinely good skill to learn. It really helps q with pushing his mixup, making his footsies scarier, improving his punishes, and giving you more opportunities to land command grab in general. Great guide btw very helpful.

Parappa the Rappa and Q crossover! I didn’t know what was missing in my life until now! I was supposed to edit my own video last night, but I was on the phone with my brother about how Q and Hugo are his favorite 3S characters. Also, I also have that fightstick… somewhere lol.

Ya, I've been using this stick since like 2011 and brother is it BEAT the hell UP. The inputs for MK and MP have to be exactly 1 frame apart! That's how most karas work.

Oh my god it took FOREVER to make that part too. The editor I was using (Openshot) is so bootleg, and trying to adjust anything even one frame left or right lagged the hell out of my laptop every time. 16gb and this thing was on its knees! If you are a beginner or intermediate player, Kara command grab is probably something that should not be at the top of your list to learn. But if you feel that you’ve got the universal system mechanics and Q’s kit down, then Kara command grab is a genuinely good skill to learn. It really helps q with pushing his mixup, making his footsies scarier, improving his punishes, and giving you more opportunities to land command grab in general. Great guide btw very helpful.

It's still pretty difficult! Getting someone to sit still long enough to get grabbed can be tricky.

I was supposed to edit my own video last night, but I was on the phone with my brother about how Q and Hugo are his favorite 3S characters.

Ya, I've been using this stick since like 2011 and brother is it BEAT the hell UP. I've dropped it a million times, the front panel is all crooked, screws are missing, the MP and HP just don't work sometimes... But she keeps on truckin! I'm gonna be using it til I wear a hole through it like Willie Nelson's guitar haha.
