wow i just found this after researching about it since i found out they signed for HUS, casker, donawhale, clazziquai project, lucite tokki (which i grew up listening to) and then helped do kr releases for jose gonzalez, lamp, koop, etc… really sad to see they’re not active anymore and there’s not much research/info about their label online for english speakers 😭 thanks for sharing/uploading!
ty! I've been out of the loop on this entire scene since I made this. I would love new HUS or reissues!! I find old CDs from them in used shops here sometimes really occasionally and it's funny to imagine how they got here. Literally nobody in North America seems to know about this stuff lol.
@@trip_the_deep there’s probably an age difference since i’m basically gen z and use tiktok, but the kids have been listening to a lot of lamp (like for lovers), hus’ banana shake, and ichiko aoba lately so i would hope there’s a revival of music within the genre, albeit ichiko is the most relevant and recent artist out of all 3… although i am happy clazziquai has been releasing singles right now!!! i think they’re probably teasing an album or ep thank god
Hi, I’m Korean Shibuyakei lover. I started to fall in love with Shibuya Kei by collecting albums released through pastel music. It's amazing that there's someone across the sea who remembers pastel music from the 2000s! Thank you for making such a great video :)
South Korean music from 02-10 is amazing, I’m glad humming urban stereo still around.
