Actually cover me was written by hyunjin and Chan, I think that the song has a lot of background on hyunjin hiatus and that makes the song even more powerful and deep. Even before I knew the meaning of the song just with the melody and their voices made me cry. After knowing the meaning I immediately thought in hyunjin as he said one time in the hiatus he was one night watching stars and wishing it was stay 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺 this album brought me a lot of emotions
Bang Chan said in a live once that their live performing track has the vocals at about half volume so that they can still sing over it but sometimes if there’s a problem the track covers them. Also Felix is wearing that over the ear mic and you can always see he has to hold it closer to his mouth to actually be heard, so yeah we’re probably hearing the music track for the megaverse live cuz Felix never grabs for his mic because of the dancing.

Man Chan really worked wonders with Megaverse. That beat man... reminds me of FREEZE where that beat change just comes out of NOWHERE and shakes your very soul. Also getting some of Changbin SINGING is amazing. Ever since he was on Masked Singer I knew we needed more singing Binnie, his voice is lowkey AMAZING Editing again, With their JYP contract coming up for renewal soon, all the curse words we're slipping in and the very touchy breakup song at the end of the album... It almost seems like they are breaking up with JYP and going their own way. Which NGL - I WOULD LOVE. I would kill to see them start their own label.
I think that's what we're all hoping for. And with them being friends with literally everyone, it's a real possibility. Can you imagine how fast people would sign on if BangChan was gonna be their boss?

Now I need Chan release the demo which is Han said Chan and Hyunjin’s voices are so great combination. When I heard they made the song together, I thought it’s gonna be red light 2.0 (sexy and deeply) but it came with sad and emotional, these two never make me disappointed, it’s showing stray kid’s have great Vocals once again.

If you watch the intro it explains exactly song, ots a play on words... Rock also means pleasure, they feel that a "rockstar is a free spirit" and this album is made to pleasure STAYS by the free spirits they are being Stray Kids.
My favorite genre of music is rock and I was really excited looking forward to this album so imagine my surprise when Cover me became my favorite 😳 Hyunjin and chan did an amazing job writing & producing it 👏👏👏👏 *my other favorite is la la la rock version! It goes HARD!
@@a_tiny_stay you're a little confused with the terms so I'll try to explain. hyunjin got the instrumental track from chan (he talked about how grand the track was in the intro video), that's what arrangement means. Making the track. You can look at the credits and see chan and nickko young as the only arrangers. then hyunjin wrote the song over the track (the first verse, chorus etc.). after that chan wrote the second verse in the song. Then they recorded a demo of the finished song with only the two of their vocals. When it was the time to record with the whole group, since hyunjin was busy he left notes to chan to tell him the things he wanted, probably things like "i want this member to sing this part using falsetto/full voice" etc. then he came and directed the recording of the remaining members. Hope it wasn't confusing ☺️

I think Cover Me is one of my new favorite songs. It just speaks so much to the heart. 57:24 Hyunjin and Chan wrote it which got me really excited for the song in the intro video when they were talking about it because Hyunjin talked about how passionate he was about the song. I just love it so much.

Also just a disclaimer on Felix, based on what and Chan mentioned one time, is that is that it's rare to see the. lip sync (beyond mvs) But what u are right about is that they do sing on top of backtracks somrtyimes at a certain volume, for some impact/harmonies.

For the lipsincing SKZ mostly doesn't do it. They use backing vocals and lipsinc the parts that are impossible to do live. There is a video where Chan talks about it. Anyway their performances are so impressive I don't and won't judge them for lipsincing sometimes.😁

This is a mini album that's why there are only 8 songs. You should also listen or react to the LALALALA (Rock Ver.) because it is a completely different vibe than LALALALA despite being the same song. Edit: Before ROCK-STAR dropped Stray Kids released a 10 minute short film called SKZFLIX on RUclips and the Leave music video is the sequel to that video. Once the music video for Leave drops you should react to both because it will explain who Leave is about and the story it has.

Cover Me and Leave easily takes the crown as my most-cherished songs from this album. The track 'Cover Me' hasn't stopped playing in my space since its release. It's incredible to think the emotional depth Hyunjin reached to pen such a soul-stirring song. It's so emotionally charged that I end up crying every time I listen.

@@a_tiny_stay you're a little confused with the terms so I'll try to explain. hyunjin got the instrumental track from chan (he talked about how grand the track was in the intro video), that's what arrangement means. Making the track. You can look at the credits and see chan and nickko young as the only arrangers. then hyunjin wrote the song over the track (the first verse, chorus etc.). after that chan wrote the second verse in the song. Then they recorded a demo of the finished song with only the two of their vocals. When it was the time to record with the whole group, since hyunjin was busy he left notes to chan to tell him the things he wanted, probably things like "i want this member to sing this part using falsetto/full voice" etc. then he came and directed the recording of the remaining members. Hope it wasn't confusing ☺️

From what I have heard from them themselves they don't lip-sync in concerts hardly at all. I love your reactions, the faces you make when you lose you shit because they out did something or whatever kinds makes me laugh, in a good way. I.N did sing that. I had to stop it and rehear that just to make sure. I would watch the intro to this album, they explain a lot of where and who wrote the songs on it.
Bangchan once said when they perform they want to sing live they're so great performer and sing like it's lipsync but we can hear their raw voice ❤❤

I usually don't like slow ballady songs that much, but my 2 favorite tracks from this album are Cover Me and Leave 😢 Binnie treating us to his vocals 😭

I think Cover Me is one of my new favorite songs. It just speaks so much to the heart. 57:24 Hyunjin and Chan wrote it which got me really excited for the song in the intro video when they were talking about it because Hyunjin talked about how passionate he was about the song. I just love it so much.

Also just a disclaimer on Felix, based on what and Chan mentioned one time, is that is that it's rare to see the. lip sync (beyond mvs) But what u are right about is that they do sing on top of backtracks somrtyimes at a certain volume, for some impact/harmonies.
Ahhhh loved this reactions Teddy. Hyunjin always had that Changbin flow with his own touch, and he also wrote Cover Me (with Bangchan) .. I saw the intro and the process behind it. Anyway, the lyrics really touched me :(. The song was used in SKZFLIX, alongside Leave which Changbin & Chan wrote. Your theory about Woojin is interestinggg.

For the lipsincing SKZ mostly doesn't do it. They use backing vocals and lipsinc the parts that are impossible to do live. There is a video where Chan talks about it.
Anyway their performances are so impressive I don't and won't judge them for lipsincing sometimes.😁

Cover Me and Leave easily takes the crown as my most-cherished songs from this album. The track 'Cover Me' hasn't stopped playing in my space since its release. It's incredible to think the emotional depth Hyunjin reached to pen such a soul-stirring song. It's so emotionally charged that I end up crying every time I listen.
Yaaaass Teddy, went thru all my multiple lives listening in too. Parallel and multi verse me had to reset, take the cartridge out, blow in the system and reset the damn game. SKZ don’t miss 😮💨. Love watching your album listening party
