The moment the video began with him downing someone, I just knew that this is just...not the video for me. I truly believe that in my humble opinion, the only way that DMZ should ever be played is by operators not going after other operators. Basically, one should strive not to choose missions that require you to eliminate other players in DMZ. Instead, any time you find another player, just ask to join their team or leave them alone. If you die, it must be to AI or to random bullshit that can sometimes happen. Imma just continue my day and go to sleep.
One of the biggest tips I can give for DMZ is DO NOT PLAY INTROVERTED. If you didn’t know, DMZ has an expanded assimilation system, allowing you to have a squad of up to six by sending or requesting invites to nearby players (they have to be very close) using the ping wheel. Get on the mic and be sure your talking to other teams to see if they want to team up. Obviously put your safety first and make sure you’re not being tricked. Most things that one person does counts for everyone on the team, including missions and weapon case extractions.
No one accepts or invites they just continue shooting till you see a leave match button. There was only once I saw a solo player getting targeted down by a squad, he kept sending squad invites, and they were laughing taunting him. I was solo and accepted, he downed one and I downed another, ran to the otherside of the building to down the third who was trying to revive his team. Sent them a squad invite but they refuse and were pissed. Me and other solo had a great match after that, completed two of his missions and exfiled.
Always use misdirection until you find out if the other team can be trusted. If you're solo, it helps to use fake call outs to non existent team mates, say, dropping plates in the one story, while being on the roof across the street. Their approach will tell you what you need to know, and you can throw smokes and run or sit tight and hope they don't have heartbeat sensor.

I learned a lot from this video. I’ve been using the spotter scope to improve my situational awareness and share intel with my squad. It’s helped me identify lots of incoming threats which I would not have been aware of before. I’ve also found myself in a lot of very tense encounters with other operators. If you end up in a really desperate situation, try verbal negotiations via proximity chat. Sometimes it’s possible to de-escalate unwanted pvp or even team up with other squads. However, always assume that they will be trying to kill you. If you don’t have any leverage, they probably won’t play nice.

I often run into 2 guards just standing around in the middle, one ground floor and one on the balcony - if you’ve gone in with a silencer you’re golden
the ammo dump in the south between Saffif Bay and Sawah Village always has AI. When you start fighting them then a chopper full of more soldiers get dropped just north of it. Always a fun time! lol
What would have been more helpful is to tell us how we can get to the point where we have the choice of loading out a sniper rifle. How do you get thermal vision, like you have? What is PDP as you say?
After a few games of playing with auto fill I’ve had much better success solo. One of my best solos was accidentally running into a 3 man at exfil they called in. I waited for them to board and jumped on and downed their whole team on the helo. What makes it awesome was every single one of them were all looking away from me. When I boarded one was looking out the starboard side and the other 2 were staring out the tail ramp(I entered on the port side). Be warned! A new tactic some are using is the microphone. They will say they come in peace and once they spot you they attack.
I've had that happen. Just trying to collect some stuff, the two guys on the other team said sure we can share the exfil chopper. I got on in a side door and they shot me. I was able to crawl out the door and watch the chopper fly away. Farging iceholes....
The day I posted this I had another great game. It was like a movie. I ran into a 2 man team that was gonna call in a helo, but the radiation circle expanded before it was called in. I ran into them again on my way to the last helo. I wasn’t sure what the deal was so I drove my own car behind theirs to the oil/cargo port in the northwest corner of the map. We had no problems with each other and were able to exfil. It really did play out like a movie.
The first couple days playing, I hardly ran into operators. Now I’m constantly getting into gun fights with full squads and get melted. Haven’t been lucky enough to squad up with people.
I think you’re just lucky about the ammo depots. Every ammo depo for the last week has had AI defending the ones I go to but that might also be a recent change. It seemed like 50/50 previously.
Only one thing to say after killing 1V3 many teams for this : If someone is down, unless you are sure its safe, something or someone as killed him, runing straight open for a dead body is wrong.
The ammo depot west of Saweh Village (water town) is guarded by unarmored guards. But every other one I’ve seen is not, good way to get a free two plate vest. Keys are also a great way to gear back up if you and 1-2 reliable teammates can fight armored and/or riot shield Ai’s
People are so damn toxic. Lol. They kill u as u are doing a mission and end up getting a basic weapon and one plate armor and a small backpack. 7 out of 10 times I spawn in I get camped by players who don't even do missions. Wish these people would just go to MP and try their camping there
Sometimes the ammo depots are guarded, but more often than not they're unmanned. The times I've seen them guarded there was only 3 bots. But if your weapon isn't silenced it can attract more bots. Also I haven't had the best luck not bringing a vehicle to the exfil. The vehicle provides some protection while you're waiting for the exfil, especially if you get an armored truck preferably with a turret. Because even when you're solo you can make it seem like there is more people in your vehicle if you can quickly switch seats from driver to the turret to warn off players from trying to ruin your exfil.
i dont understand the point of DMZ because by the time you collect supplies, sell, get some money, buy some gear, maybe complete ONE mission, the storm moves in and you gotta extract! its annoying having to then go back to the Lobby and start that same process all over again 🤷🏼♂️ what they should have done was every time you complete a mission you can extend the time before the storm moves in by 5 minutes
KILLING PLAYERS IS NOT THE MAIN GOAL OF DMZ‼️‼️‼️ If u couldn’t let someone live and get their loot to extraction, you should consider playing warzone instead…
So at the final extraction never get on until the last 10seconds.. obviously the timer doesn't decrease and stay high. Also watch for AI at final extraction. They tend to run away from the zone so if you are low on bullets and plates they can even kill you
DMZ will be dead soon enough with all the spawn killing and exfil camping. I don't bother with the weapon cases anymore and now it's got to the point you can't go in and do any missions without some thirsty trash killing you... They can't cut it in BR so they jump into DMZ... It's sad honestly.. But it's ok because the last 3 people that killed me in DMZ got ddosed into oblivion so fair is fair. 😌
Hold the mark button select the 3 oclock section or the 4 oclock. Killing a player in dmz is worth 100xp having a 4th 5th or 6th teammate is priceless.
Got killed after my 6 exfill-streak today. The 2 players of my squad didnt use headset or use communication at all, didnt use or follow-up my ping, went roque somewhere and got killed trying to exfill, , i got beamed by the first armored AI car while hiding in the bush ( trying going stealth) for them and absolutely being sure it was imposisble that anybody of the bots saw me. After killing all of them and checking for plates i got wiped by another team that came for hearing shows which i tried to prevent by hiding in the bush. End of story: AI still sucks monkeyballs, lobbies can also, done with the game
Survivability in general has gone down since more pvp people getting into it first few weeks I was able to play with randoms and survive but dmz has a up tick in pvp engagements some days the only way to survive is to play with full squad. Just be ready dmz is more competitive.
Nah honestly I've only partied 1-2 times out in the field. Good mannered. But the the pvp is hilarious. I've enjoyed wolfing a team because killing all 4 people with a recon drone and c4 is sexy
I noticed it's been getting very competitive these past weeks. I think people listen to tiktokers or RUclipsrs about spawn trapping players or just stalking them in dmz which is kinda bad lol. They need to add an option to remove online players just to do missions in peace or maybe a solo mode 👍
Great example of toxic gameplay at the start of the video. Not attempting to do missions, just going straight from spawn to down other players without first talking to them to see if they're friendly
@@Hudszgaming thanks, that was the 'Overgrown' bundle, shame it's not available! I purchased the Sloth VII bundle for the sniper camo, the overgrown weapon blueprints look better.
I helped a guy that requested help to be revived. I told him that I’d revive him if he left me and my squad alone. Just working missions. I revived him and he turned around and killed me. Shot me in the back. His squad came and took the other guys on my squad down. It’s hard enough fighting AI’s. Don’t know why people like you don’t just leave other players alone. Punks.
When you rush spawns they were prolly looting or 0lanning how to do the missions it's ppl like you that ruin games like this yeah if come across another team and use prox chat and they don't want to engage go about your day or if see they are aggro then duke it out but rushing spawns like what the hell. Want to hunt ppl warzone is where to do that.
Yesterday, a duo who spawned close to us tried to snipe us, they got us one at a time but we revived each other. Dude's assumed we were all downed and pushed us with smgs, I pulled my sniper out of my butt and took one of them out while my mates took care of the other guy. They had pretty good rifles as well. Not sure how they messed up so badly
DMZ Takes more skill than warzone. Sure you can learn to get crazy aim, reaction time and learn how to flank people constantly. But dmz makes you have to think more. You constantly have to risk your life to survive and if you don't take risks you die. In warzone you can grab a gun and hide in a corner and move when forced to but dmz makes you move because there is no other way to win
The problem with us solo players, is that more often than not, when and enemy squad knows we are solo players, they rush us without any provocation or shame. I just want the damn M13B, it's costing me a fuck ton of luck to get it lmao
Solo mindset especially if you play with randoms. Got caught in a stuck situation where my team thought enemies were friendly. Had to save them after enemy working that team.
I literally just go killed by a player who looked exactly like the tougher AI soldiers. I saw him and he was just standing there. So I ran around him to do my mission and all of a sudden I'm dead. People love to camp missions lol.
Rushing spawns in pointless to me, I'd rather have organic engagements during the game. I know they trying to be like tarkov with random spawns, but a Helli drop like WZ would make more sense with the size and number of teams on the map.
Yesterday only during a solo run I came across a player he was downed I hit the poor dude with a shot only to realise he is not a AI revive him with revive pistol and drop some armor plates for him to go his merry way only to kill that same dude accidentally at an extraction later since he was hiding in a swarm of AI
A armoured car on exfill with a team is so handy , i run over so much bots and enemy players , yes i put a trophy system on top so they can't bomb me 😉 my teammates jump out and ambush them cause the enemy teams think i drive with the full squad 😉
Favorite example of pvp fails is dude sniping at me while I was letting him extract. All he got for his trouble was a failed extraction and a good look at the soap execution because he kept looking down one door.
Well I had a quest to get 4 dog tags. Also why not, I'm sure they would have done the same to me 🤷♂️. I've played plenty of extraction shooters when I've not shot at someone cos it feels bad only for them to kill me.
You probably aren't going to complete a rescue hostage contract solo unless you've got a serious arsenal. I've made it through the 5 or 6 heavily armored guards inside the building but cannot get the hostage exfilled by myself. It's a bitch.
I am quite curious how they will balance mobile vs console and PC players in warzone. I believe they can just have even more crazy aim assist and that will be terrible cause I am mainly a mouse and Keyboard player 🙄
Everyone wants this to be like Tarkov but its really just normal warzone with bots. No real point to the extract because you don't take any loot with you. If the beta does not evolve into something like Tarkov it will not last long in my opinion
I really hope they add a night time version of DMZ eventually. Would make it almost a whole new game.

Stuff will spawn in different places every game, i noticed that because the bomb sites switch spots all the time
the ammo dump in the south between Saffif Bay and Sawah Village always has AI. When you start fighting them then a chopper full of more soldiers get dropped just north of it. Always a fun time! lol
I'm not PvP hater by any means, but if I was the first guy just trying to grab a vehicle and I got sniped like that, I would be SALTY
O I've been that guy. It's the worst. But is what it is. I just got v lucky with the second shot.
@@Hudszgaming Got that mouse skill. Haha. Honestly there's almost no chance when you're on a console vs a PC player.
@@BrashTracks my exact thought but later on he has square and triangle for self res and revive team mate. I think he's Playstation yo? Could be wrong
I love DMZ it's just different. And I like it.
Spotter scope is huge!
Yup. Pretty much always use it
This is awesome thank you. I needed this as I just started to play the DMZ. Haven’t played since Kong/Godzilla in Caldera.
What would have been more helpful is to tell us how we can get to the point where we have the choice of loading out a sniper rifle. How do you get thermal vision, like you have? What is PDP as you say?
You have the choice from the start. You have an insured-slot to put any weapon (weapon you have unlocked and gunsmithed) you like
Yes spotter scope is sorely missed if you don't have one. It has a nice zoom and comes with thermal images. The action snaps up and down quick.
A dude requested to join my squad, i didn't see which button to press to accept, and he pushed and killed me. Actual rat behavior 😂
I've had that happen. Just trying to collect some stuff, the two guys on the other team said sure we can share the exfil chopper. I got on in a side door and they shot me. I was able to crawl out the door and watch the chopper fly away. Farging iceholes....
Damn I didn’t know I could play solo. I’ll be doing that later today unless I have my crew with me!
I’ve had two teams now that said they are friendly and then killed and took all my shit. Such shit sportsmanship
I don’t engage enemy players, I’ll do my best to get them to hear my proximity chat and recruit into my/our squad
I think you’re just lucky about the ammo depots. Every ammo depo for the last week has had AI defending the ones I go to but that might also be a recent change. It seemed like 50/50 previously.
Awesome, thank for the tips! Your voice is so calming!
Only one thing to say after killing 1V3 many teams for this : If someone is down, unless you are sure its safe, something or someone as killed him, runing straight open for a dead body is wrong.
Another tip for extracting, you can extract on top of the helo😉 use that how you will
The ammo depot west of Saweh Village (water town) is guarded by unarmored guards.
Wish these people would just go to MP and try their camping there
Awesome video with great tips. I subscribed!
Because even when you're solo you can make it seem like there is more people in your vehicle if you can quickly switch seats from driver to the turret to warn off players from trying to ruin your exfil.
i dont understand the point of DMZ because by the time you collect supplies, sell, get some money, buy some gear, maybe complete ONE mission, the storm moves in and you gotta extract! its annoying having to then go back to the Lobby and start that same process all over again 🤷🏼♂️ what they should have done was every time you complete a mission you can extend the time before the storm moves in by 5 minutes
they nerfed the ammo houses so much they had 3 plate and durable mask and selfie. but now it's 2 plate reg mask and maybe revive pistol
Not really a nerf
I always try to help other players. Because I'm just finishing missions and understand they may just be doing missions as well .
Very helpful. Just subscribed!
After playing the weapons case mission, I developed an exfill anxiety
Lol people who killed me in last match in DMZ couldn't exfil and lost all of their loot
Hold the mark button select the 3 oclock section or the 4 oclock. Killing a player in dmz is worth 100xp having a 4th 5th or 6th teammate is priceless.
Thanks for the video, helped alot.
"Tips for playing DMZ solo" *queues in with a trio*
Great example of toxic gameplay at the start of the video. Not attempting to do missions, just going straight from spawn to down other players without first talking to them to see if they're friendly
What is that sniper blueprint you have with the AK, in the second clip? The optic looks very cool with the camo still visible whilst ADS
It's called sequoia 👍
@@Hudszgaming thanks, that was the 'Overgrown' bundle, shame it's not available! I purchased the Sloth VII bundle for the sniper camo, the overgrown weapon blueprints look better.
Didnt know how best the spotter was for pvp good vid
Amazing ending !! Sums up.the DMZ experience curremtly . Robbed of ur stuff.. over and over and over..... and over 🙄
I helped a guy that requested help to be revived.
I found easier when you can team and complete missions. We had a team of 6, running and gunning last night.
I hate people like this. Will not let you enjoy the game always head hunting They they are great at this game. Well, there’s always somebody greater.
Very knowledgeable. Definitely earned a sub.
I literally just go killed by a player who looked exactly like the tougher AI soldiers. I saw him and he was just standing there. So I ran around him to do my mission and all of a sudden I'm dead. People love to camp missions lol.
Your crash at the end is my typical solo run, at least I’m not alone 😂
That ending is such a relatable moment lol
Rushing spawns in pointless to me, I'd rather have organic engagements during the game. I know they trying to be like tarkov with random spawns, but a Helli drop like WZ would make more sense with the size and number of teams on the map.
What are you playing more right now DMZ or Warzone? Also if you're looking for fellow DMZers hop in the discord discord.gg/hs7ZkDyn
They do spawn or travel in the resupply buildings I have encountered them three times inside.
Great video. Subbed:) thx we need more like this instead of all those stoopid glitch videos:/
Thanks bud
So he admitted he's a glitcher 😂
@@kristopherleslie8343 wat. ur smoking crack ?
Good video m8, was working on something like this myself for solo players :P
Awesome, look forward to it!
The things I’ve learned is it’s a snipers game and you MUST have a self revive!!
Good video, but I disagree with a lot of the tips, but from an understanding where you are coming from and why you would suggest these things.
What do you mean DMZ does not want to make you throw your pc out your window. It does to me all the time
Damn, that vocal fry is strong in this one!
Can't wait for private dmz games
Yesterday only during a solo run I came across a player he was downed I hit the poor dude with a shot only to realise he is not a AI revive him with revive pistol and drop some armor plates for him to go his merry way only to kill that same dude accidentally at an extraction later since he was hiding in a swarm of AI
There are definitely AI around the ammo depo, but almost never inside
I think most people are just being a-holes. Mind your business and do your own missions (not unless you need to kill actuals for your mission).
A armoured car on exfill with a team is so handy , i run over so much bots and enemy players , yes i put a trophy system on top so they can't bomb me 😉 my teammates jump out and ambush them cause the enemy teams think i drive with the full squad 😉
the ending is primarily how mine go, especially the really good games.
Favorite example of pvp fails is dude sniping at me while I was letting him extract. All he got for his trouble was a failed extraction and a good look at the soap execution because he kept looking down one door.
Explain the point of downing a solo player driving away showing no danger to you🤔
Well I had a quest to get 4 dog tags. Also why not, I'm sure they would have done the same to me 🤷♂️. I've played plenty of extraction shooters when I've not shot at someone cos it feels bad only for them to kill me.
Spotter scope is a great suggestion for duos or trios, but I wouldn't recommend taking it in for solos.
? i always take my scope so handy to get some info before i go into an area or even to see if theres movement on the train before i jump on
Those Ai bots are way to op on dmz mode
Pretty sure if you loot an enemy players backpack you can take their dog tags then they can no longer be revived by teammates just FYI
Unless their bag just instantly disappears
But the dog tags will always be marked to the enemy teams
Can revive player and then use tag to hunt the killer down for revenge
i’m really trying to like dmz… getting sick and tired of playing for 30 , getting taken out and loosing everything!!!!
How do you get that weapon skin with the wrap?
The way your video ended is how most of my matches seem to end.
Super helpful. Thank you!
How did you use so many shields same Time? I can only use 1 at The Time
You probably aren't going to complete a rescue hostage contract solo unless you've got a serious arsenal. I've made it through the 5 or 6 heavily armored guards inside the building but cannot get the hostage exfilled by myself. It's a bitch.
They might have one or two ppl in the ammo depo
Until the game stops crashing it doesn't matter what I do.
