no you can't submit your passport in the place of birth certificate but you can submit family registration certificate or you have translate your birth certificate but you can't submit passport in the place of theses documents

Everything should be submitted together in one application. You can certainly mention the exam in your personal statement but if there's no result then you won't get the benefits of that.

As per guidelines mentioned in the form-5, it should be in one envelope. I think it's mentioned in the bottom section of the Form-5. But if all letters are sealed and signed then I think that's okay

As far as I am aware, R-GKS is for regional universities where applicants can only choose Type B universities. It's an initiative to promote applications and admissions in universities outside the Seoul region
Hi, first of all sorry for dumping so many questions here lol but i wanted to be sure. 1. Embassy track requires 4 sets of recommendation letters: Do I send my professor Form 5 via email (quite confused as the Application Form seems to be uneditable) and then let them type it and make 3 more copies of the document and print them all and sign each of them inside. THEN, enclose all 4 printed letters along with the Form into 1 envelope and then sign on the backflap? I was confused as we will make 4 sets of all other documents but are putting all 4 recommendation letters in 1 envelope. Will the embassy itself open the envelope and attach one to each set of the rest of the documents? 2. I studied Korean at KCCI in Delhi for two semesters recently and had great results and rapport with my Korean teachers there. As it was a Sejong Hakdang, do you think a letter of recommendation from the teachers there could be valid for GKS if I attach my certificates from there? 3. My parents don't have passports and only have their Voter ID for citizenship proof, is it sufficient? 4. My CGPA for my Bachelor's was on a 10-point scale and my university said they couldn't provide me an official converted transcript. However, my transcript has a conversion scale for reference on the back already, though not out of any of the scales asked by GKS guidelines. If I ask my university for an official letter saying that although they can not give a converted transcript, the already available table on my current transcript is correct and can be used for evaluation, would it be sufficient as a supporting document? 5. Do I have to make 4 apostille for every document (as per guidelines) or make 1 apostille and then get three photocopies of that apostille? Sorry again as I might end up asking more later lol.
1. Yes submit recommendation letters that way. Embassy will open the documents and assess accordingly 2. You can submit that but it will be considered as an additional document. 3. Yes, submit their voter ID cards with apostille 4. Converted grades need to be submitted else your application will be at a disadvantage. Simply providing the table won't be enough. Try persuading your university or use scholaro to convert yourself and then ask your university to authenticate it. 5. One apostille and three photocopies of all them

You can apply with the top 20% certificate but selection is based on your entire application against all other candidates as well. So that's not for others to decide but for the university and NIIED to decide. As long as you are eligible to apply, give it a shot with your best application.

Nothing's mentioned about provisional certificate so I am not sure myself. It's best to contact NIIED for clarification. And deadline is set by each embassy and university separately so keep checking respective websites.
In GKS scholarship program for masters, in the course list it is mentioned that the medium is 'Korean / English ' . Will the classes, study materials be in English and the exams be in English ?
It's on their website. When they release the guidelines for the embassy track they will also post the address where you will be required to send the documents so keep yourself updated with the website.

Hi Animesh! I have a small query. I prepared a personal statement and study plan. The guidelines say that they need to be within 3 pages each. My personal statement has covered 2 and a half pages out of 3, but in the study plan, I could only write 2 pages. Is it enough?
If you were able to write everything you wanted to in two pages then that's okay. The maximum number is for students to write under that number. It doesn't mean that you must write three pages.
I have question for embassy track we have to submit one original set + 3 photocopies set so in recommendation form we have to write different teachers name in each form or same please tell me im very confused.
You just need one recommendation letter so just one professor or yours will be doing that. Copies mean the same copies of the original recommendation letter written by that one professor of yours

I need your help please, my major is English Literature, in application form in division of fields of study, it is written Liberal Arts but in Universities file written Humanities. Can I write Liberal arts and then Humanities in Parentheses, I know both of them are same, but in application form they told division of study and department must be match with university files. Can i write like this: Liberal Arts (Humanities)?? There is no problem if I write like this in the section??
Sadly there's nothing that can be done here. An applicant applying with an expected graduation certificate must submit a degree certificate by 31st July if selected as a scholar.

1. Confirm once with NIIED if you will be allowed to apply with a provisional degree certificate or not because guidelines only mention about expected graduation certificate. But even if you do apply, you must submit degree certificate before the end of July 2024 else the scholarship will be cancelled. 2. Ask your university to do it for you or use scholaro or wes website to do it yourself and then get it approved from the university. It's even mentioned in the guidelines. Make sure to read it thoroughly. 3. I can't because I am not aware of all universities and their curriculum and everything.

I mailed niied and this was their reply "It is required to submit an official document (i.e., birth certificate or family register) that identifies you and your parents' relationship and citizenship. If the document does not include you and your parents' citizenship information, then you should submit additional documents (i.e., valid passport copy or other government issued document that certifies citizenship information) for proof of citizenship". Can I just submit the birth certificate as it is along with my passport copy??

I would suggest going by the instructions as mentioned in the Form-5

High school documents are not required if you are applying for masters
I can apoistle whole BTech Mark sheet and put them because I didn't have transcript,
Ask your university for a consolidated marksheet or just get the MarkSheet you have apostilled and submit

100 one will go in the percentile section. Leave the converted GPA section empty because you have not converted your grades

Ask her to send you an invitation letter or document that she is ready to accept you in her guidance.

4. My CGPA for my Bachelor's was on a 10-point scale and my university said they couldn't provide me an official converted transcript. However, my transcript has a conversion scale for reference on the back already, though not out of any of the scales asked by GKS guidelines. If I ask my university for an official letter saying that although they can not give a converted transcript, the already available table on my current transcript is correct and can be used for evaluation, would it be sufficient as a supporting document?
5. Do I have to make 4 apostille for every document (as per guidelines) or make 1 apostille and then get three photocopies of that apostille?

4. Converted grades need to be submitted else your application will be at a disadvantage. Simply providing the table won't be enough. Try persuading your university or use scholaro to convert yourself and then ask your university to authenticate it.

You can apply with the top 20% certificate but selection is based on your entire application against all other candidates as well. So that's not for others to decide but for the university and NIIED to decide. As long as you are eligible to apply, give it a shot with your best application.

Nothing's mentioned about provisional certificate so I am not sure myself. It's best to contact NIIED for clarification. And deadline is set by each embassy and university separately so keep checking respective websites.

Hi Animesh! I have a small query. I prepared a personal statement and study plan. The guidelines say that they need to be within 3 pages each. My personal statement has covered 2 and a half pages out of 3, but in the study plan, I could only write 2 pages. Is it enough?
If you were able to write everything you wanted to in two pages then that's okay. The maximum number is for students to write under that number. It doesn't mean that you must write three pages.

You just need one recommendation letter so just one professor or yours will be doing that. Copies mean the same copies of the original recommendation letter written by that one professor of yours

If it mentions your graduation date, degree and final grades on one of the approved scales in the guidelines then you can submit that

Try using the appendix given in the guidelines. 3.2 is 86% as per that so you are eligible

I need your help please, my major is English Literature, in application form in division of fields of study, it is written Liberal Arts but in Universities file written Humanities. 1. Confirm once with NIIED if you will be allowed to apply with a provisional degree certificate or not because guidelines only mention about expected graduation certificate. But even if you do apply, you must submit degree certificate before the end of July 2024 else the scholarship will be cancelled.
2. Ask your university to do it for you or use scholaro or wes website to do it yourself and then get it approved from the university. It's even mentioned in the guidelines. Make sure to read it thoroughly.
3. I can't because I am not aware of all universities and their curriculum and everything.

I mailed niied and this was their reply "It is required to submit an official document (i.e., birth certificate or family register) that identifies you and your parents' relationship and citizenship. In University track there's another category R-GKS for type B universities, what is it about?
It's a regional quota and you can only apply to type B universities if you choose that quota
