      @Typexviiib Год назад +2

      @@alfredoelbombo3423 are you asking what the rcs is? It's not firmly known, dod has been pretty tight lipped about it. It's frontal rcs is supposed to be comparable to the f22, but it's rear rcs is likely no where near as good as the f22 (owing to its round engine exhausts). Rcs figures, typically quoted are frontal, and if I had to guess the f35 is likely .0012 to .002 m² on the frontal aspect. Stealth aspect on the f35 was moderately deprioritized over the f22, in favor of reduced procurement and maintenance costs.
      This discrepancy between what angle the radar hits a plane and its rcs is why very stealthy planes can momentarily pop on radar. Say for instance on one sweep the f35 is flying straight at you, the radar just tends to slide by it, but the next sweep maybe the plane is banking for a turn, so he pops up on radar. These blips are generally to low resolution, and too intermitant, to develop a targeting solution unless very close to the aircraft. A missile doesn't need to know where the plane is, it needs to know an interceptor course.

    Malaysia’s Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) is on negotiations with Russia to acquire 18 units of Su-57, as replacement for their long servicing Su-30MKM (Flankers) and FA-18/D (Hornets). In future I think Malaysia 🇲🇾 will look for MiG-41 or its future variants as well to replace their decommissioned MiG-29 fleets not too long ago.
    Last year, RMAF just acquired Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI)’s FA-50 Block 20 Fighting Eagles 🦅 to replace their BAE Hawk 108/208 series of fighter lead-in trainer / light combat aircraft (FLIT/LCA) and Aermacchi MB-339 advanced jet trainer. First batch of 18 units will be completed in 2026-2027. Followed by second batch of another 18 units.
