I was doing my probably 200th playthrough of this game and for funsies just felt like doing this fight again. I ended up regretting skipping the OVL previously as I wanted to show off how utterly useless you can manip her even when she can't be staggered!
Also yeah, the video quality is like 1000x better too, kinda makes me consider redoing more.. but we'll see I guess, I certainly always enjoy playing this game but with the amount of work I've put in this run I definitely don't want to redo it for the FOURTH time 💀
In any case, Musee will always use Seize Throw to counter player guarding, this is very telegraphed and easy to backstep, granting crit chains for days.
She counters with Avoidance and All Out as well as Stun Blitz below 50% , however she very much prefers Avoidance in this encounter.
I can easily disregard the first counter by pushing Musee away with Muzzle Bark, then extending my chain with some projectiles before approaching with Shunjinken.
I make use of the 2nd counter to stack a few charges, Houryuu Rengazan is very risky, but if I manage to hold off the counter until Garyuu Gurenken.. specifically the charged one as it's significantly faster, it's possible to dodge Avoidance with the extra height from Majuu Senkoudan!
Once I land I bridge whatever happens next with a down normal as it's both quick enough to go to idle fast and gives me reaction time whether I can extend longer or go guard for OVL baits.
From point blank, Musee's Overlimit lasts approximately 6 Seize Throws, so I make sure to approach with Souryuu Rengazan on the last one to stagger and proceed into the finalizing chain. With the knockback from Majin Senkoudan, I had to close the gap again and as I didn't want to break my arte chain I used a couple of Shunjinkens.
This is still by far my favorite boss fight the whole game.

Another Musee solo from the 🐐! Love the play around the OVL here. I honestly kinda suck at repeatedly dodging Seize Throw for some reason so it's fun to watch here + that perfectly timed Souryuu Rengazan at the end of the OVL to cancel the Elemental Hymn is just beautiful!
