Before the playoffs started I was one of those people who said he had no skill. But after watching these playoffs I have to apologize and give him his flowers
Giannis and the Bucks are saving the NBA and basketball in general for that matter. By showing the humility, hard work, and defense still equal results.
People talk about Giannis having no skill but they often overlook some things. One, his HANDLES. Ballhandling is totally a skill, and there are only a handful of guys at his size who can handle the ball the way he does, his tight handle at his size is why he's so unstoppable when driving to the rim. Two, his FOOTWORK. His footwork is so underrated, his footwork is actually solid, he's able to get shots up at the rim even when double/triple teamed because he has good understanding of pivoting. Three, his COURT VISION. This is yet another underrated part of his game, I've watched Giannis rifle an accurate pass out of a double/triple team to a teammate numerous times throughout these playoffs and I can't believe these analysts can't even mention that about his game. The man does have skill, and I don't know why the media is creating all of these narratives to diminish him.
The comeback he had from his injury was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Back to back 40 point games and had the most part important block and dunk of the series
Skip couldn't eat his own words, his arguments are just hilarious. I rooted against Bucks every series but they showed every time they are legit resilient team. Props to them, they haven't winning it yet but they already earned everybody respect.
Giannis is great to watch in this small era of basketball. Earns his money in the paint even when the opposite team knows it's coming. Hustles and plays defense what's not to like
Like him or not Giannis is a beast. He is unlike anyone since Yao or Shaq. Nobody is that dominant down low like Giannis is. Have to say he has earned his respect.
This dude Skip really just picks and chooses who he likes and doesn't like. He praises Zion for his hustle and ability to score in the point and gives Ben simmons a pass for not even shooting but nitpicks Giannis for every little thing.
Giannis just loves the game dude and he trying his heart out because he loves trying his heart out in the heat of battle for everything. That’s everything to him bro once u on that court I relate
@11:59 "That's not Shaq domination." Uh, Prior to the year when Shaq won his 1st NBA title, his teams were 32-34 in the postseason. and their series record was 9-6 and his teams had been swept FIVE TIMES.
They talk about “all he does is run and dunk” well if it’s that easy then STOP HIM! The fact that they know exactly what he’s going to do and still can’t stop him is what makes him so dominant
I called it the moment I saw Marc Davis on Game 5, who is bias towards CP3, that Scott Foster would call game 6 to force a game 7. What I didn't foresee, was the Suns having a meltdown and fumbling the bag. I feel like he might end up calling it either fair or in the Suns favor (no matter how much he won't want too) to hopefully force a game 7 for the NBA still. He's a company guy first.
The fact that Giannis doesn’t trash talk after destroying players on all cylinders or brags about his skill on the court in my book makes him even more honorable and cool then anybody
The finals has just opposed most of the media and their bias against Giannis...if any other player did what Giannis was doing...they'd be drooling all over said player...even Luka gets more respect eventhough he has achieved absolutely nothing...Giannis and is always great when he steps on the floor but he's a robin apparently...the GROAT (greatest robin of all time)
Luka was competing against an amazing clippers team. Bucks haven’t gone against actual competition, every team they go against is straight up injured. That clippers team was better than every team the bucks have gone against this series
Giannis is in his register, he is a permanent threat and can really do the only thing every player wants no matter how, SCORE, PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET.
Man that's a little harsh. He never wanted kids because of his commitment to his job and he didn't want to neglect his kids growing up due to always covering sports :(

@@bigsmall2842 hes not better than kd because of he beat him in 1 series that’s the thing about the playoffs ppl get it twisted it’s about who’s the best in this series not who’s the best period bro it was 1 against 5 kd was hitting shot after shot hit the shot to take the game and made it his was foot was just a lil over the three point line or we wouldn’t even be talking about giannis Rn so stop ppl need to stop fooling themselves giannis is not kd on his best day kd literally is everything you would want in a basketball player where was giannis in the 4th when kd was taking over guess what??? Not guarding him that’s what he was doing but he’s all worldly than kd stop lol
@@bigsmall2842 I would also consider putting him ahead of lebron if that's the case. Lebron did it with a superteam also and basically hand picked his own players.
But jrue and Khris where winning games without giannis in the playoffs

6:40 Giannis just can't win when the media change their argument however it suits them...didn't Skip say Ayton is the best Giannis defender...now Giannis eating him up in the post now it's a problem to have Ayton in single coverage smh
Spot on lol skip just a hater
If Giannis was on the Spurs or Clippers, Skip would call him the GOAT 🙄
Preach!!!!
Facts...or if the bucks were beating the Lakers in the finals
Would say he TIM DUNCAN REPLACEMENT LOL
he will worship him lol
True. I would too. Even so, I still think he'll go down as one of the goats by the time he's done. I wish he played for the spurs. Spurs need a true big man.
He’s physically talented with explosiveness and ability to dribble . His IQ and shooting ability is making him more dangerous .
His heart and hustle is the cherry on top
*I respect Giannis cause even without a jump shot he’s still on most nights, the most aggressive player on the floor & you can tell he works on his game each off season*
Shaq gave Superman title to him.
That says enough
James Harden can cry all he wants. Giannis ain't flashy but he's on the cusp of winning a title.
He wasn't crying. Giannis dissed him first and he fired back
@@vonjanay7576 He was crying because giannis was right.
@@neelkumar9839 and harden was right too. They were both right🤣
I can’t wait till next year hope we get to beat the breaks off the bucks first round
@Corporal Feel no way nets were injured, that’s the same reason the suns are in the finals too
12:11 reminder that Shaq won his first ring at the age of 28, MJ & Lebron were also ringless before the age 28. Giannis is only 26, with 2x MVP - 1x DPOY - 3x All-NBA and 1 game away from his first ring
this how history tells it, but eye test tells you giannis faced the worser competition by far
At the beginning of the Finals, as a neutral, I was rooting for the Suns because of CP3. Now that the Bucks are on the verge of winning it, I don't feel that bad because Giannis is finally getting the recognition he deserves. It's a win/win situation because I find both players (and to some extent teams) to be very sympathetic.
They are forgetting to mention how a man Giannis antetokounmpo's size can handle the ball so amazingly. He is 7ft tall and I've seen him do sharp in and out like a point guard. I've also seen him do beautiful spin moves and up-and-unders. Just give the man his props, he's a beast
Exactly! They have hard time accepting the fact that Giannis is one amazing player. Skip comes up with stupid excuses here. His argument is stupid.
@@stergiosserres6680 - But WHY does Skip have a hard time with it?
If the Bucks win this series, I hope Skip Bayless is added to their list of opponents in the playoffs.
😂🤣
Did Skip just say that Giannis isn‘t a great rebounder?? Y‘all trippin
Giannis is the most physically dominant player in the game today.
Zion Williamson is coming.....
@@kourtneyterry7746 yea he go be a problem in a year or 2
Popular Opinion: Every single one of ya'll agrees that Greek Freak made our Day Great:
People need to put some respect on Giannis' name. He is a throwback type player who is a physical mismatch for the majority of nba players. He has time to work on his craft, but if he wins this chip, he will be a champion. Period.
Skip sees something he’s never seen in his career at least once a week
yeah it makes me think how much basketball is this guy really watching -.-
Throughout all the years he's been doin this
Skip: if you can guard triple-team Giannis, you can beat him
yeah, i guess he's not that good after all...
No. He has earned it before the Finals.
Nope Giannis did not start the beef, Harden did. Harden started it when he said Giannis's MVP was to fit a narrative and he was the real MVP.
A person asked him a question n he respond
@@unknownrage7691 and? That doesn't change anything from what I said
Can't explain why people want a centre or pf to be a closure...no other centre/pf is expected to do it
it’s only because he’s the main ball handler i believe
@Evan Ace maybe for this series
You could dump it into Shaq for an instant bucket. Hack-a-Shaq was the equivalent of the Jordan Rules. Think about it.
@@UnexpectedWonder they dumped it to shaq majorly near paint where he could finish with his skill sets
Your closer is usually your best FT shooter. Pretty sure C/PF aren’t on that list.
Now imagine Giannis that only dunks getting a ring before point God and Harden
Better organization , it’s really more to the sport than just players as much as that’s hard to believe
@@OGDailySpark you really believe that? I’ll give you cp3 but harden was legit playing on 1 foot.
Giannis is lucky that the rest of his competition got injured which led him to compete against a small team that shouldn’t be there

No more Giannis slander. I’m done with it
This segment makes me wonder if there'll ever be anyone who can do literally everything, at an elite, elite level.
By the standards of his time, Jordan was at least decent at almost everything, though good to great at most things. But elite at everything: NO.
Physically Kobe Bryant.. he just didn’t have a couple intangibles such as when to pass
At 26 Giannis is 2xMVP, All-star MVP, soon to be Finals MVP, DPOY, 5x All-star, soon to be NBA champion, and 4x All-NBA.
Forgot MIP
Lol whose here after giannis drops 50 on the suns. UNDISPUTED MVP! 🤩
Skip can never just compliment someone
Did skip just have the nerve to call Mr.15 rebounds a game “not a great rebounder”
Nearly started foaming at the mouth, I’m like alright just say you hate the man
Give Giannis a Kobe and watch how many championships he wins.
How about a dame Lillard
Giannis spent the summer with Kobe learning training learning new moves and making notes. Giannis doesn’t do buddy buddy with other players from
Other teams just like Kobe during the off season.
All that is paying off right now. I pray they win the championship.
He might can’t shoot like that but he can still dominate and get you 30 + he gets my respect
How can anyone dislike Giannis’ game? The man is a walking double double and a defensive anchor. People are haters.
He'll be a Triple Double threat soon because his passing has come along way as well.
I respect the whole bucks big 3 wayyy more
Giannis domination
Jrue holiday excellent defense
And middletons closing and mid range ability

Before the playoffs started I was one of those people who said he had no skill. But after watching these playoffs I have to apologize and give him his flowers
What is Skip talking about? Giannis, a two time MVP is out playing Ayton… what are we surprised about?
Giannis will retire as a top 5 player of all time.
Maybe top15😂
Top 3
Top 10
The pre requisite is to get a ring first
Now he's a champion. Nothing but respect ✊🏾
Harden started that beef when Giannis got his first mvp. Harden went on a radio station and dissed Giannis. Stop hating Skip
Without a doubt. Everyone said he couldn’t make free throws and he did. Skip said prove yourself and he did.

Skip: *sniff* *mhm* *sniff* *mhhhmm* *ah* *okay*
Skips take on deandre Ayton vs. Giannis was spot on and to be honest that’s the true key to the series
The entire world across all continents is respecting Giannis for the past 3 years and these two are still debating it
The comeback he had from his injury was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Back to back 40 point games and had the most part important block and dunk of the series
If ben Simmons was doing the same the media would've already praise him

Skip couldn't eat his own words, his arguments are just hilarious. I rooted against Bucks every series but they showed every time they are legit resilient team. Props to them, they haven't winning it yet but they already earned everybody respect.
I can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode when they have to react to the bucks winning the finals in 6 and Giannis gets the finals mvp with 40 and 15

Giannis is great to watch in this small era of basketball. Earns his money in the paint even when the opposite team knows it's coming. Hustles and plays defense what's not to like
Sounded like Skip had the Coke drips during Shannon entire take😂😂😂

This dude Skip really just picks and chooses who he likes and doesn't like. He praises Zion for his hustle and ability to score in the point and gives Ben simmons a pass for not even shooting but nitpicks Giannis for every little thing.
Giannis just loves the game dude and he trying his heart out because he loves trying his heart out in the heat of battle for everything. That’s everything to him bro once u on that court I relate

When you have hope as Phoenix Suns fan..
but, the NBA names Scott Foster as the Head Ref.
Smh
I heard Skiuuup already laying the groundwork if the Suns lose, Scott Foster. He should be a politician, he can spin anything!!
@@privatoist i'm in the same line of thinking. C'mon Game 7 :)
@Kenenna Nwokedi not everything is about race
Giannis is in his register, he is a permanent threat and can really do the only thing every player wants no matter how, SCORE, PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET.
The best thing skip has decided to do with his life is not have a kid.
The world can't deal with that much negativity again
Man that's a little harsh. He never wanted kids because of his commitment to his job and he didn't want to neglect his kids growing up due to always covering sports :(
