I really appreciated this video. Around 2020, I fell into a deep dark depression, and I didn’t tell anyone or anything. I remember one moment when I was doing my schoolwork, (I’m homeschooled) as I didn’t finish it on time, so majority of my time was spent doing schoolwork, and so that made me horribly stressed, and tired, eventually, it got to a boiling point where I snapped at my youngest brother, after me and him were insulting each other, and I break down into tears, js balling my eyes out, and in my mind, I thought of that as an embarrassing moment. I thought that I couldn’t show an actual emotion around anyone, lest they find out. I didn’t come out of that depression, until late 2022, when I finally got some roots under me, I finally found some friends, (who I love dearly) but unfortunately, I didn’t feel happy again, or didn’t let myself feel happy again, until spring 2023. While the depression ended, my self image was so low, I thought I didn’t deserve to feel happy, I felt like such an outcast, not letting myself feel anything. So, thank you Leon, and I hope your day is going well. ❤ (If you ever read this)

I just lost my best friend last week in this most horrible way. He had an outpatient surgery in may. About two weeks later he started having depression and psychosis. He went through a living hell for three months. Two treatment centers,an event where he almost went suicide by cop,he took himself to the ER at least ten times knowing something was wrong and they didn’t give him the meds and help to prevent what happened. I never dreamed he would do this. They did an autopsy and I hope they find something that could’ve caused his mental decline but I think it was the anesthesia from his surgery. In April we went out for his birthday and had a ball. The week of my birthday when we should’ve been out celebrating he was dead. We still haven’t had the funeral because the autopsy and the holiday weekend prolonged that so this weekend will be his memorial. I’m still in shock. Leon as handicap Teenager that I was one and as an Adult to I experience Depression. Yes I had Friends that told me you Ugly you are no Good etc.. But I learn Cope with that and I also learn that they where Jealous of me because was Smarter in things they couldn't do Like I always like Electronic things Music, I love Filming been on Camera and behind the Camera Fixing Radios and Even Camera. Now I'm an Audio Expert to I know how to Run A Sound Mixer board for a live concert and I had to learn it since my Nephew is a Country Music Artist and I also had to learn now to mix the Sound coming out of the Board into my Camera etc..But I didn't when to School for that or anything Lear it from other People and by Trying this and that even if for the First few times it didn't came out right. But I learn from my own Mistakes. Now for you Leon that some People don't like you or are Jealous of you that is a good thing. That tell me you doing something right. If you got no Friends Good For you. Your only True friends are your Family your Father your mother you Brother or Sister if you have them Cousin. etc.. And Leon there people who Cares about you to. You are a wonderful Human being. Cheer up man there is no Reason to get Depress at all. And if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend that you love but they refuse to love you back that OK to like I told you before this Persons are not Comparable with you at all it is better to let them go and Start Fishing again for another one if you know what I mean by that. Cheer up you got your whole life ahead of you. OH, Start Concentrating in something that you love of doing. If you Want to be a Teacher, Fireman, Police,Lawyer what ever. But don't let anybody Choose for you what you wanna be. Because only You can Choose what you want to be. Hey Cheer up I don't like to See you Sad Leon you are a Great Person
You're an amazing young man. I'm sure your parents are immensely proud of you! You always have some very important information to convey. I have said this before in other comments but you are wise beyond your years and it's such a pleasure to watch your videos. You are doing a huge service to others, especially to your contemporaries. Kudos to you!! (Chris)
Suffering from depression myself, I'm watching this in tears. Yes, I am getting help from Talkworks via my doctor, and it is helping. I am so glad that you managed to work through your demons and you are right. We do matter, people do care, and we should be prepared to talk about our feelings far more than we do.
" Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary situation ". So many intelligent and unique people have depression and attempt suicide. Than you so much, Unbreakable
A very important message to get across today so every credit to you. Also your personal experience adds even more weight to it. Very honest content Leon. 🤗
Hello, keep it up, you make nice videos. I come from Germany and wish you a great evening. I don't speak English well. A lot of it is written using Google Translate
I’ve both considered suicide several times and been diagnosed with Depression in the past, before I was eventually diagnosed as Autistic. I’ve also lost friends to suicide and helped talk people out of it. It definitely sucks and people shouldn’t be pushed past breaking point like that. I’m glad that at least there’s a growing level of support out there, especially for younger people. I’m sincerely glad you never gave up and hope you’re never made to feel that way again either. You are not alone and I wish you the best of luck for the future.🤝🤗
Hey! I'm new to the channel, and your words are really inspiring. Thankfully, I'm on the other side now and have a relatively happy life! As for the Suicide Awareness Month, yeah, it's super true that it doesn't get talked about enough. I graduated, but my school treated it like a whole event, while really they didn't actually care to help me or anyone that was having issues, but I digress. You're really cool, and actually relaxing to listen to ngl! Keep it up, and stay well !! 💙
Hey dude I hear you. I've had three suicides in my life, and couldn't save any of them. Red flags everywhere, couldn't stop it. Suicide is very lonely and they need someone that they can talk to, but they know that if they do, their friends will try to stop them!!! So they die silently, and their reasons goes to the Grave with them.
Another great video. As you know admitting you are suffering is difficult. Admitting it to yourself is one thing but opening up to others is something else entirely. Men seem to think it is a terrible sign of weakness to speak out. Most fear being laughed at or criticised. If you have a true friend that will not happen. Never feel unloved or unwanted. We are here for a reason.
Well said! You are a-wonderful young man and what you’re saying will help many. Brave of you to admit your own feelings. We all end up in a hole sometimes and for a while we see no way out. Time changes things and indeed prayer helps also. There is always a way out! Our great Prime Minister, Winston Churchill suffered from depression. He had a little saying…..K.B.O. ……..Keep Bug*ering On! God bless you and keep up the good work of encouragement to your peers!
Thank you for this video. Just over 3 years ago, my son committed suicide. He was going through some struggles in life, including mental and physical abuse in the US marine corps boot camp. He was honorably discharged, but on a suicide watch. When he came home, he seemed a bit distant and more subdued. He saw a counselor and we saw one together for a time. We talked about it, and he assured me that he wasn't suicidal. One night, August 1st of 2021, as he seemed to be dramatically improving, he ended his life. He was 21 years old, and not just my son but my best friend and my whole world. Mental health is nothing to be taken lightly. To this day, I still feel like I should've done more for him.
I am sorry. You did all you could do. I tried ending it all when I was young. There wasn't anything my parents could have done. It was internal. Your son knew you loved him and he loved you. That is all you can do.
@@UnbreakableStud thank you. I'm doing alright, but there is a piece of me that is gone that will never come back. Keep on with your videos, young man, I hope they reach the right people. You're what I call "good people".

This is the 4th video of yours that I've watched, the first was autoplay and algorithm's choice(?) Just came over from "im bent" to this one. From the comments I saw under these 4 videos, you have a bunch of people that are in one way or another very much in love with you and would have been devastated had you chosen suicide. As my pastor said to me when I was 17 and 1st love / boyfriend had OD'd with 2 other classmates... self ending thoughts eventually come knocking, sometimes health related, such as cancer, other times it is the slow march of feeling overwhelmed, death of a loved one and the huge hole created, feeling there is a lack of connection (friendships) with/to others, or a flooded defeated feeling of "I don't care, and I don't care, that I don't care" and the shadowy tag-a-long of "will anybody notice if I'm gone". It is hard to fight the fog of depression and/or suicidal thoughts. We also battle the "pre-guilt" of not wanting to tell others as it might screw up their day... thus isolating us further. If anyone is struggling, it’s okay to share your feelings. The Internation Assoc for Suicide Prevention website has several sample ways to start a conversation. Due to space - summary - big 4 are Reach Out (...alone and suicidal..could use some support) Contact a loved one (Talking...help me feel safe) Express your feelings (...having painful thoughts...) Check In (I'm struggling...can we chat) Also here in the U.S. call or text 988 24/7 English and Spanish Warm hugs to you Leon and to the community you have gathered.
Wow! I am so glad you did not do anything bad to yourself. Knowing you from what I've learned about you through your videos, you would be so incredibly missed if you were no longer around. Great topic and thanks for sharing more of your world with us! ❤
Your title for this vlog is true...most important thing you've taken up for sure. Sorry to learn of your own struggles, but glad you're overcoming them! Got to say there is always Someone else in your corner, and that is the God who made us and cares for each of us. Friends and family can be your lifeline, but He alone cares for each of us. That is why I pray whenever I hear of anyone with such struggles, even if they are 3,428 miles away in the UK (Googled the distance from me in upstate NY to London.)
Thank you for sharing, Leon. Sorry you had to deal with unkind or toxic 'friends', but glad you found better people to associate with. Definitely a good idea for anyone (young or old) dealing with depression to reach out to others and get help or just talk through things. Might be a cliché, but as the old saying goes: "A problem shared is a problem halved". 😊👍
You’re a hero man. I absolutely sincerely wish that 2022 will never be repeated for you and that that year will remain the shittiest year of your life. There is no way you should have to go through that again. You’re the example of that old campaign (that should be revived actually) “it will get better” because it does. Have fun, enjoy your new friends and life that goes upwards. ✊🏻🤜🏻👍🏻🥰🥰
Hey, great video. There is so many things going on now and the pressure of living gets really tough. I saw you today on a vid with the guy that came out to people. I always tell people not to do it because, friends, family and employers react to that information very differently. I grew up with my friend of 28 years, who had impossible parents. My friend met a girl at his law firm that he really liked. They didn’t approve because she could not have kids. He just gave up and shot himself leaving countless people devastated.. Social issues can cause great stress. It’s worse when you’re younger. I’m sorry you had your issues to deal with. Exercise helps and you have to keep moving. Should you ever want to come to the states. You are welcome to come.
I like your Slytherin t-shirt. I’m a Slytherin, too. HI5, Leon! You & I are examples that not all Slytherins are evil lol Slytherin qualities: cunning & ambitious. Pretty useful qualities to have - don’t you think? :) Why not make a video showcasing your Slytherin merch, if you have any more. I have cushion & snake soft toy, 2 keyrings and a hoodie jumper. How awesome to know you’re a Slytherin! :)
I mentioned the Slytherin t-shirt instead of this video’s theme because you always treat such serious, weighty subjects on your channel. Why not have a more balanced output, diversifying your videos to also include fun stuff and comedy? Laughing per se can be an amazing way to get through depression or anxiety. It puts stuff into perspective, including, I guess, P*rn. Any thoughts, Leon?
I do have these thoughts and at times just want to end everything. In 2020 I decided to join my mum and went to end my life but I was stopped by the police in my town centre and arrested for breach of the peace so they could detain me. I was taken to custody and eventually transported to a mental hospital in the back of a cage in an ambulance. Two years ago the crisis team called at my house at 1am I refused to answer the door, they called the police and reported I was cutting my wrists so the police came to my house at 2am and forced entry I didn't harm myself. I told the police what I thought of them and told them I'd never call them if I needed help to this day I stand by this. If I feel the time is now I'm telling no-one cause the trust has gone with the professionals
I am glad you are better. I was informed today that a former coworker just killed himself. It is sad that anyone gets to that state. I have now known three people who have killed themselves. Anyone who is feeling like ending it all needs to talk to a friend, family or someone you trust. I wish that I could have intervened on at least one of these but that person did not reach out to me.
Im glad you found the help you need. As as you said this video you matter. True friend(s) will be there for you during tough times. I may not know you personally even with you oping up to us, but Im here for you too my friend. Take care of yourself.
I lost a close friend to suicide 6 years ago, it's very hard. Always enjoy your channel & not sure if anyone has told you but I really like your hairstyle, it suits you well. Thanks for posting this important video.
Very thoughtful video. Finding the right company and friends is key. Everyone in the World can advise you but in the end it’s only yourself that can help. ⭐️❤️👋👋👋
Well done. There’s an NHS short course called beating the Blues you can be referred to that via your GP or Practice nurse at your drs surgery. Hope this helps

Hope your video helps others out there who are struggling with their own lives. You take care of yourself because you are very special and we care about you.
Hi Leon. My cousin, who was the same age as me committed suicide 2 years ago. It was her 6th attempt. Her parents are devastated... I wish I could have been more supportive, to help her to understand that her life, as is ours, is not truly our own. We are instruments of the The Lord God Almighty and as Mahad Ma Guandi would say, in "In order to find yourself, you have to loose yourself in the service of others". In other words, we exist to support and serve others. Once you realize this and embrace the concept, you are trapped and have a meaningless existence. We need to let go of ourselves and serve The Almighty, and that is his people, whole heartedly. Then we find purpose and a reason to get up each morning. As I say "You are a prisoner of this world, until you become convicted, in something good". God bless you, and I hope that you are blessed abundantly by The Almighty. Dr Graham.
I guess one aspect of this is tgat parrnts will often blame themselves when their sons and daughters go through traumatic periods - and I suppose sometimes children blame themselves if a parent commits suicide ... but it isn't necessary their fault. As you say. Leon, everyone needs to be able to open up about their problems when the weight of thise problems starts to become too much ...
Just a random, irrelevant, but friendly reminder that THERAPY DOES NOT WORK UNLESS YOU ARE HONEST. Dont be embarrassed and shy. Therapist legally have to listen, help, and keep your conversations private. Just be honest otherwise it wont work, you're wasting money, and you wont improve mentally. Keep pushing through life guys❤❤❤

Many people think about whether they would be missed, and many other thaughts around ending one's life. These thaughts may indicative of depression or some sort of crissis. Having some thaughts around death is part of growing up. But it's when you're feeling unsafe with yourself, you need to do just one thing. ASK FOR HELP. Ask a perant, or a teacher, of a friend. If you need to call a phone counciling service. Cultive your curiosity for tommorow. There's always tommorow. In my darkest days I simply wondered whether tommorow would be a better day and slowly it does become better.

To anyone who is feeling suicidal, you may be suffering from medical depression, or maybe even bipolar disorder (also known as manic/depressive illness). If so, you need to see a doctor ASAP and be placed on anti-depressants for the former, and mood stabilizers for the latter. Hope this helps.
isn't there anything NHS can do along these lines? i live in USA so i have no direct exposure to things in UK. if you ended, we would miss you and be very sad. i know i would cry. i've already had things this in my life. when i was in college a drunk driver killed a dear friend in another state. i had known her since i was 5 and families visited each other almost weekly. then a couple years later another friend manged to get a gun into the nursing home he was in and he ended it. i don't want that kind of emotional stress, again. and, at my ago, i know there will be these things repeating often. one of my brothers and one of my cousins have already lost their wives. and my parents are gone. several high school friends have passed on. please, let's limit it to that.

Hey hi my name is New Washington I'm from Thailand I listen to your story it's true that I was bullied in society I had no friends I was pressured and I fought with my family I came across your channel I feel good to meet you my friend❤🎉
so sad to hear that..hope you are doing okay?
I am glad you are here. Thank you for the video.
Thank you, Leon.
You're a strong person. Im glad you're still here. Through itall, know that Jesus is with you. He loves you. You're worth it.
Your words are really inspiring
A great video and message. Here in the US there is the Trevor Project, a suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth that some of your followers might want to look into. It might also be good to do a video on online safety. Perhaps you already have. 👍🙏
Here for u in support. Please don’t ever give up
Leon as handicap Teenager that I was one and as an Adult to I experience Depression.
What is Talkworks?
@@johnryan3913 talk works is counselling for depression or stress. I suffer from both.
" Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary situation ". So many intelligent and unique people have depression and attempt suicide. Than you so much, Unbreakable
A very important message to get across today so every credit to you. Also your personal experience adds even more weight to it. Very honest content Leon. 🤗
I am happy that you are still here with us! I just wish that my son was here also😢
Hello, keep it up, you make nice videos. I come from Germany and wish you a great evening. I don't speak English well. A lot of it is written using Google Translate
Very wise words but I'm sorry u went through this
I’ve both considered suicide several times and been diagnosed with Depression in the past, before I was eventually diagnosed as Autistic.
Great video. Really well done what your doing 👏👏
Well done Leon. Takes a lot of courage to talk about stuff like this but it does help others who are or have gone through the same.
Hi Leon, thanks for this video about suicidal awareness
I am so sorry to hear man, I hope you're doing better ❤
@@UnbreakableStud thank you. I'm doing alright, but there is a piece of me that is gone that will never come back. Keep on with your videos, young man, I hope they reach the right people. You're what I call "good people".
@@bg147 thank you. He sent me a text message at 2:32am that morning, knowing that I generally don't have my phone near me at night. His message thanking me for being there for him always and his 'I love you, always have, always will' is etched in my soul.

Congratulations on that excellent input …and I’m so glad you’re so much stronger
Thank you for being brave and sharing. It's important everyone know they're not alone.
Your openness and honesty is a true blessing to this world. Thank you
Leon, my God, it feels so good to me hear you speak like this,.... I went through that many years ago by myself.. i'm full alive, but YOU,... the GUIDE here, you are a BLESSING to the world' s Kids, and others.... You are SHINING Bro.... continue sharing
Peace to You, thank for You helping people... Yves IN CANADA
Due to space - summary - big 4 are Reach Out (...alone and suicidal..could use some support) Contact a loved one (Talking...help me feel safe) Express your feelings (...having painful thoughts...) Check In (I'm struggling...can we chat)
Also here in the U.S. call or text 988 24/7 English and Spanish Warm hugs to you Leon and to the community you have gathered.
Leon, you are so good at addressing important issues. Keep it up, and look after yourself.
Thanks Leon. ❤U 2, and praying for you...
Did the miles between based on London. I just presumed you're near to it.
Further to my comment above. I have been there too. Like you I struggled on my own. Eventually I accepted I needed help.
I am glad you did not end it all
You’re a hero man.
You are simply a amazing young man. Thank god you're still around. I'm sure you're helping alot of people.
You are very well spoken. So young but is already that mature, wishing you the best
Thanks for talking about this deeply important topic.
Great touching and inspiring video !
Thanks for posting this important video.
what a good-looking young man you are I think you will help a lot of people so good you are still here to help other people.🌈
Very thoughtful video. Finding the right company and friends is key. Everyone in the World can advise you but in the end it’s only yourself that can help. ⭐️❤️👋👋👋

Well done❤😊
Well done. There’s an NHS short course called beating the Blues you can be referred to that via your GP or Practice nurse at your drs surgery. Hope this helps
Hi there!
I was actually the first person to comment on your original video that got deleted.
This issue, no matter who knows this, shall not be forgotten or pushed away into oblivion and pretending that this issue is not supposed to be talked about. High hopes for you and your content!

Our lives are better with you in it Leon.

Ive been there too. I actually attempted it but unfortunatly i failed. A few years later things started to get better
***Fortunately you failed, not unfortunately!😅

glad U R sticking with us ❣
We are here for you and we care about you
Dr Graham.
I'm so sorry to hear, sending my condolences ❤
When people are in denial about being gay, they can't be honest. Usually the problem.
@@SleepExports yeah. I thought i was in denial bc i liked a boy but didnt want to be gay. So finally i came out but then recently i realized that i wasnt attracted to the boy, i simply wanted to be friends with him. Ive always looked up to him and ge was my role model. I know fs i like girls now. Im not in denial, im not gay, i just really liked him in a not gay way if that makes sense.
@I_LOVE_EILISH It does make sense. But if you want my honest opinion, I'd say what you described is common for many people who are indeed, gay.
@@SleepExports yeah i have been told by a lot of ppl that i am and i was bullied bc ppl think i am. Thats kinda why i came out was bc i was pressured to. Im not sexually attracted to men, i just look up to them sometimes bc theres a lot of cool ppl in my life. But ig i do seem gay plus im hella zesty💀
@@SleepExports But overall i like girls. Im attracted to them.

💞!!!!! I can't sum it up any better than that. 👨❤️👨

Well Said
Many people think about whether they would be missed, and many other thaughts around ending one's life.
In my darkest days I simply wondered whether tommorow would be a better day and slowly it does become better.
great video Leon

To anyone who is feeling suicidal, you may be suffering from medical depression, or maybe even bipolar disorder (also known as manic/depressive illness). If so, you need to see a doctor ASAP and be placed on anti-depressants for the former, and mood stabilizers for the latter. Hope this helps.
I thought about it to, did with it on my own
isn't there anything NHS can do along these lines? i live in USA so i have no direct exposure to things in UK.
if you ended, we would miss you and be very sad. i know i would cry. i've already had things this in my life. when i was in college a drunk driver killed a dear friend in another state. i had known her since i was 5 and families visited each other almost weekly. then a couple years later another friend manged to get a gun into the nursing home he was in and he ended it. i don't want that kind of emotional stress, again. and, at my ago, i know there will be these things repeating often. one of my brothers and one of my cousins have already lost their wives. and my parents are gone. several high school friends have passed on. please, let's limit it to that.
Dear boy.
I've no many time this afternoon buts
