    Thank you, thank you Sherri for sharing your wonderful recipies, definitely going to try to make this conditioner. I have one question, though: I don't have the ritamulse emulsifier. Can I use instead the BTMS 50 since I have this on hand?

    I tried out this conditioner bar but i made it instead with mango butter and kokum butter. It definitely makes my hair soft however it doesn't spread onto my hair very easily and doesn't do much for tangles. Im assuming its the lack of btms 25? I too try to stay with ingredients listed no higher than a 1 maybe 2 on ewgs website so i definitely am trying to stay away from btms 25. I was just curious if its the lack of that ingredient or if it was the change i made in butters. Thanks so much for the recipe though! Its the best natural recipe i have used!

      Hello, thanks for watching😊
      It is likely because there is no BTMS 25. With purely natural ingredients it is hard to mimic conventional products. I have not had any problems with it spreading, and it certainly is very moisturizing. It does take some getting used to though.

      Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use it for your body and to shave. I haven’t used it as a leave in, so I’m not sure how it would perform. Yes, it is for dry hair although it works for all hair types.

    Will this recipe work without the rice hydrolized protein?

  • @barbaraayala7808
    @barbaraayala7808 2 месяца назад

    So the hydrolyzed rice protein is actually Rice Bran Oil ?

    • @SherrisHeavenlyApothecary
      @SherrisHeavenlyApothecary  2 месяца назад

      Hi, thanks for watching! Great question. No, however hydrolyzed rice protein comes from rice bran, which is a byproduct of white rice production and brown rice processing. It's made by breaking down rice bran into its amino acids and peptides. Rice bran contains 11-17% protein by weight, which is more than broken rice kernels, which contain 7%. The two offer the same benefits just in a different format, water vs. oil, and a slightly different measure of protein. Hope this helps😊
