Honestly? This playstyle is a really solid base for a horror game. An outdoors map with a giant monster and the only way to survive is scurrying from hiding hole to hiding hole. Throw in hiding inside the houses as it peers into windows trying to spot you and You're basically recreating like 90% of all of my childhood nightmares after watching Jurassic Park way too young.

Yep. I'm allergic to cat saliva, and yet I have four housecats and work at an animal shelter (and spend four mornings a week evaluating random cats for behavior). I just need to wear a mask and gloves at work, and my pets get bathed twice a month to get the protease enzymes in their saliva off their coats. Fuzzy asses are lucky I love them.

He's been the long standing boss of the house even while we currently have a dog too (the dog we have is a little derpy and they get along like best mates)

Not sure if youve heard, but recently RUclips updated their policy without really mentioning it. That's why blood/gore have now been across the board demonetized, from what I understand, including animated blood/gore. This platform just continues to be so wonderful to it's gaming community.
And don't forget that the system will also recognize you censored something and flag you anyways. It's actually better at detecting censored content sometimes, with this being especially true for swears more than visuals.

That in itself is a nightmare- makes it so people should just ignore demonitized videos and pump out more in an attempt to make more money (that or change your content to be more family friendly but that won't work for everyone).

Hearing Spiff's story about driving thorugh stupid amounts of snow reminded me of my brother last year. He was driving from Utah to middle Colorado, and decided to take a route that passed through the mountains. As soon as he started driving an unexpected snow storm arrives and it takes him twice as long because he can't bring himself to drive on icy, snowy, curvy roads. Needless to say, he took a plane this year to avoid that.

Only halfway through the video, but fun fact! Charles DOESN'T go away if you don't drive him away! If you don't shoot him to scare him off Charles just hangs out and will never despawn while he wanders! That's why you noticed him just circling! He can leave you alone but he'll never truly be gone
This challenges are so great to watch, I love how after Spiff plays a game he goes back and plays it several more times with all sorts of challenges and stuff, it's so cool to see these games pushed to their limits
fun fact: charles is sent into a box under the map after eugene dies so the player has some prep time for charles (i think), i saw it on horrorscoped (a yt channel) and maybe thats why he was nowhere to be found during your first quests
There's probably some explicit timing involved, but also the Charles that kills Eugene is a different Charles from the one that hunts you down for the majority of the game, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were two different objects as well, so when mega Charles has gotten Eugene, he goes into the box, and then X minutes later, regular Charles gets spawned on the map
When I first heard the title of that game, I didn't think some of the biggest gaming RUclipsrs would play it, and that you in particular would have multiple videos about it. But it's been fun for sure!

There are things I've noticed I missed from watching it more than once, and I feel like I've gotten to know him and his community better.
From what I’ve seen, charle’s only gives a “grace period,” after getting shot to heck and back first. This belief is admitedly based in part on watching ScottFalco stream his first play through, and get stuck in a house with that moist critical/ Shia lebeuf looking guy for 30 minutes because Charles would come back seconds after leaving. As such I’m very interested in seeing how this goes if ya Agro him. While I’m sure he might just go and stay gone, if he catches ya at the wrong house, could end up a reset… or at least a big boy time sink.
Spiff is making thinks so difficult and I am here to watch the pain and success that comes from it. Also watching when he tries to escape charles gives me second hand anxiety.

Yo, I was trapped by that storm too! I was visiting family in Michigan, but we saw the storm coming so we stayed. I hope the storm wasn't too bad on you other than the whole ditch incident. I don't know about you guys, but I rewatch a lot of his content- mostly his security breach and pizza sim content, but I do backtrack to his Poppy speedrun and challenge videos as well. There are things I've noticed I missed from watching it more than once, and I feel like I've gotten to know him and his community better.

From what I’ve seen, charle’s only gives a “grace period,” after getting shot to heck and back first. This belief is admitedly based in part on watching ScottFalco stream his first play through, and get stuck in a house with that moist critical/ Shia lebeuf looking guy for 30 minutes because Charles would come back seconds after leaving.
As such I’m very interested in seeing how this goes if ya Agro him. While I’m sure he might just go and stay gone, if he catches ya at the wrong house, could end up a reset… or at least a big boy time sink.
Spiff is making thinks so difficult and I am here to watch the pain and success that comes from it. Also watching when he tries to escape charles gives me second hand anxiety.

someone should make a mod for this game where charles plays the 'thomas the tank engine' theme song and you can hear where he is (distance and location) based on how loud the music is and where the music is
And he's painted a lovely scratched-up sky blue, so he continues to stand out visually amongst the forests and fields

When I first saw a playthrough of this game, i thought I no train run would be pretty cool, and then I thought imagine doing it without dying. Then I thought nah that’s impossible and now here we are. You never cease to amaze me, spiff.

Yo, I was trapped by that storm too! I was visiting family in Michigan, but we saw the storm coming so we stayed. I hope the storm wasn't too bad on you other than the whole ditch incident. My family only went out of Michigan after the storm had completely passed, but even then it was rough. My props to all of you. (Also side note: The Afton foot video is probobly my most rewatched. Sorry, Spiff?)
