- As South Korea's total fertility rate is 0.78, it's not common to see parents raising more than two children in Korea. But here's a couple with four babies. A Korean couple with quadruplets are struggling with a war-like parenting.

Kudos to the mother for not wanting the eldest daughter to ‘step up’ and be the 3rd parent when she’s older, like the grandparents said! This woman was born to be a mother and wants nothing more than for her kids to just be kids, I’m in awe of her as I don’t think many adults have this kind of emotional development

Yes, that is exactly what I said. I don’t say ‘3rd parent’ lightly as often the eldest child is given far too many responsibilities in the name of ‘stepping up’.

So true. In most big families the oldest is always responsible for younger siblings. Not fair. I didn't do this to my oldest either.

the best thing about this family is both of the mom and dad are absolutely happy and ready to be parent and be responsible for it. everyone can be parent but not everyone can be responsible enough for it. I am so happy for this family, glad they can reunited with Munbyeol 🥰

i love the fact that this couple make sure that their eldest wont feel left out and make her feel their love as well despite how busy they are to their quadruplets' that is very commendable
I love how her three siblings just look over at her when she starts to fuss like "who is this making a racket?" So sweet.
What is very evident is the boundless love within this family... even the babies feel it the way they look at their parents. Every day brings new challenges, yet Dure & Hwan take it in their stride, overcoming all obstacles! They seem so perfect for each other...
It's so, so, so refreshing seeing parents who are so ready to be parents, and enjoying all the process with their whole heart too. They just make me so happy, and actually, honestly considering to have a family ❤

This is the first Korean couple i saw raising there kids without being depressed and enjoying their time with kids.Finally some normal parents in korea.Hope five babies grow up to be strong and healthy with the love of their mom and dad

I'd call myself a cynic in general about life, but even I have to say this is the most lovely and loving couple I have seen in a long time. They are so genuinly happy about parenthood, and it seems they really truly like and know each other very well. Uri is one sweet and very smart girl. Wishing them all the best!

Honestly I love how the doctors and nurses who took care of the baby really cared for her well and even gave the family gifts so cute. And the father and mother are all in and want to raise kids like me seeing all those kids I feel overwhelmed and scared but they seem so happy and I’m sure they do feel overwhelmed and scared but they really want to be the best for their children.

Finally, Moonbyul is back! I have been waiting anxiously for her return every episode...as expected, I teared up. This is such a lovely family with kind and loving parents. I have a 4 months old baby with eczema, so I really felt the heartbreak when I see little Moonbyul cried badly...probably she was feeling so uncomfortable that she can only cry. I would dread the day when she learnt to scratch...

I can only cry and celebrate with them from far. I truly pray that this amazing young couple, with steady heads on their shoulders, warm, courteous , considerate, brave and very very committed - will find ease in bringing up their big family. Waaah I watch them for 2,5 hours non-stop. Both parents are gifted and have a strong mindset. They're ready to have children as a mental and physics. You can cleary see how chaotic the baby, how struggle each hours, they're still happy, still calm and no bothered at all. May 7 of you blessed every day❤️🔥🥰

I cried watching this until the end. The JOY OF HAPPINESS what am feeling right now. The parents are so remarkable. even Dure’s parents are incredible TO PRODUCE SUCH A LOVELY, LOVING, CARING and KIND MOTHER . The HUSBAND is a very loving, caring, thoughtful and patient like his wife.👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. This documentary of their everyday life awesome and amazing. The doctor, the nurses and the staff of the hospital had done such an excellent job taking good care of the “weak” infant. The TV program who tirelessly work hard in documenting this kind of event. Very, very classy and thoughtful. Hopefully that this wonderful family continues to be strong, resilient to whatever they will facing in the future. The ONE THING THAT REALLY STANDS---the PARENTS OF THE QUADRUPLETS --very, very inspirational. With CHAOS GOING ON IN THE WORLD---BOTH OF THEM are just AMAZING HUMANS. THANK YOU❤❤❤❤❤

My wonderful daughter in law is South Korean from Seoul and she and my son have a daughter and younger twin boys, who also stayed in hospital after birth, so this story caught my attention and heart love❤ I live minutes away from them which is a blessing as they are a gorgeous family. I can’t wait to follow more of your life.
Honestly i love them so much. people without kids don't really understand that stress and tension in the newborn phase puts on a relationship. They are going through it 4x and still manage to have a calm stable household with 5 under 2 lol. They will last a long time and raise great kids
