      @darkcircle899 2 года назад +20

      It’s literally just math there are 4 kings in a 52 card deck that mean a roughly 7.7% chance of getting one king when your holding one king that means there is 3 which leaves a roughly 5.8% chance your opponent is holding one king cut that probability in half for two kings leaves a roughly 2.9% chance he has two kings when you are holding one. So yeah having one king makes a difference when thinking about what it’s likely your opponent has. It doesn’t mean there’s no chance it does mean that it’s much lower than normal.

      He sweats the details.
      He could easily just have shrug-jammed there. But he knew that Nick's range in that spot is basically AA, KK and... that's it. He's probably flatting with QQ and JJ, and jamming AK. If Nick had 40k+ behind, maybe Double M takes a flop, and decides whether to call off at that point. But there's a big difference between _knowing_ what to do in that spot, and _actually_ doing it. Nick got abit mad cos he got his exact hand called out and totally owned when MM made that fold and felt stupid so he was secretly pissed off about that. He made him look kinda dumb with that fold on stream and I think thats why Nick was mad. That 5b half your stack really was amateur hour. Noone ever 5bets half thier stack as a bluff its just dumb. 5betting half your stack looked way stronger than just jamming all in which let double M off the hook.

    I don't understand this - even if you know the villain has KK, surely you have WAY more equity than you need to call? How on earth is this a "world class fold"?

    I don't know if he was tilted if he was tilted he would have shoved I think he was just aggravated that he had to let go of such a good hand and throw away the money he had already put in the pot.

    How is this a world class fold when Nik has never 5 bet with less than KK let alone for 200x BB Pre-Flop? Nik played this hand poorly and Dbl M lost the min. Does Nik think he calls a 5 bet jam with worse than KK ? If he does, then he is delusional about his self-image. Looks more like Nik just wants to get it all in Pre becuz he doesn’t want to get unlucky or get out played when if an Ace hits the flop like most Recreational players.
