Love my KZ Castor Pros. Prefer them to my kz zs10 pros, kz edx pros, and OG kz edx. They do need a bit more power I notice but the soundstage is absolutely incredible. The dual 10mm driver setup is revolutionary in the budget IEM space.

For gaming both of them gonna be confusing...like playing battleroyal games.. I have the castor bass edition...Dac is really important to run toh maximum power. If you're using in pc then it's ok..but for mobiles you gonna need a dac dongle to drive the full potential... I don't know for the bass the footsteps was confusing...but for music it's really good... good for basshead ...the details it provides with bass really amazing...😊

@@Purecast9 btw I got the dac audiocular d07 today and omg it's so worth it. before this my iem sound was super flat like it felt like 60 percent or something. i was missing so much punch and clarity. now it's like almost 100 percent. the sound volume punchiness clarity bass everything went up like 40 to 50 percent. it's insane man. The ZSN PRO X is great but the highs might just be a tad bit harsh at maximum volume. The Castor Pro Improved Bass Edition offers the same bass with less harsh highs and you can tune that using the switches as well.

Just now I got kz castor imporved bass edition and I'm watching this video with kz . A fte few hours of usage it' was tremendous but suddenly I faced the issue which is my left side ear peace not working properly I can hear the crackling sound clearly. I thought kz needs to burn in to loosen the diaphragm . maye it could solve the problem . But this kz castor imporved bass edition was treat to experience the impressive sound for first time IEM user .
KZ ZSN PRO 2 might come out on top for overall sound quality. But on a tight budget the KZ CASTOR PRO IMPROVED BASS EDITION paired with a DAC is incredible.

Imo if you're satisfied with audio experience you should not. Check if your device support hi res audio and stuff. Dac doesn't make much difference in my use.

Any DAC is better than no DAC.
If you continuously listen at very high volume then it may get unpleasant.
Keep it to 70% and you're good to go.

@@Purecast9 brother i used the d10 dac, am i can bet it is reducing the sound quality.i tested the earphones with laptop using dac and no dac, 100% no dac sounds way better.

Does it have any kind of sibilant ? Of normal version seems the harman target version has the similar high region so can you confirm that, should i go for pro if I'm having a new one, some says normal castor has less boosted treble and it'll not sound sibilant.
Unless you max out the volume,it doesn't sound excessively sibilant.

hey i need help i have Fiio jd1 and i was using oneplus type c to 3.5 mm in my realme phone had no issues. I thought to upgrade watched your video and got audiocular d07. I faced static sound on both sides and tick tick sound on the right iem when no audio is played. So i exchanged and bough kz am01 and still facing the same problem. Can you tell what is the problem over here.
