It is a very worthwhile video. To give your community a way to save money and time. Thank you. Be blessed. My brother.
@@JoeHazlet thank you. I appreciate that.
Man I am digging that office chair. Had a serious "why didn't I think of that?" moment and now have projects for my home office and a shooting house. 😂
@@redneckolympics 😆 yeah. That office chair cost me about 50 grand about 8 years back. 😆 I bought the seat and it came with a free boat 😆 🤣
@mickaburkhart14 there's a boat salvage yard in Paris. He has a stack of bass boat seats 12 feet tall. I think I'll go that route. 🤣
Thanks AGAIN, Micka!!! Now I know what I'll be doing next week... 😅 Great winter project.
@@danielfuller1212 😆 thank you
Man thank you for making this video. I've been struggling so bad trying to catch shad and it's tough when you see a massive ball on the sonar and don't get a single one in the net. If I could give this two thumbs up I would.
Lol thank you.
Still watching the video but very interested in this topic. Thanks for the great content
@@texasflatheadfishing thank you
Very interesting, 3:00 and I've never had any idea there was such a thing! Thanks, Micka!!
@@goodcitizen64 thank you. Yeah it definitely works great.
I would have an absolute mess if I tried to do this. 😂
@@RiverJunkie 😆 it really isn't that bad to do.
That's a great idea brother, and all it cost is time, and tape. I like how you said you have to replace a net every season. I usually have to get a new net once or twice a month. That's the bad outcomes of throwing a net from the bank. Loved the video bud, and I can't wait to see the outcome.
@@want2boutdoors274 thank you. I appreciate that.
That tape a bass a$$, very strong! Good idea!
I was looking for tape this week then seen the vid where you said this vid was coming out Saturday. Must of read my mind lol. I made the planer boards you do awhile back and love those.
@@72nova96 good deal. I hope this video also helps.
One point I'd like to add... As you said, a barrel works better, but the larger the radius the better and easier the handling of the net and tape. I used a (Dollar Store) 5' diameter kids wading pool. This gives more surface contact and greater control, keeping more of the net straight, as well as the tape not sticking back to itself. Just a suggestion... 😊👍
@@fredziffel3443 ok great idea. Thank you for that.
Great job 👍

Good morning Micka
Awesome awesome information
Thank you
Pretty cool hack thanks for sharing
Thank you
I think thats called Strapping Tape, we use it for heavy duty boxes when we ship stuff. Its tuff as nails.
@@larryled6839 ok that was another name i forgot to mention. Thank you for that.
That's great
@@josephdunivan9432 thank you
Man,,it would take 'em hours to cut me outta all that!!!,,,,,, Jokes aside, great idea, thanks. Enjoyed it.
@@earljenkins1302 😆 thank you
Do you think a 5 foot net would benifit from this Taping. Ohio has a 10 foot diameter law so all we can use is 5 foot nets. I have never tried them in deep water yet but have been thinking about trying it next summer.
@@SawltyDawg2009 yeah it would definitely work.
You mean from the center to the edge is 5' right? It is my understanding that in OH we can use nets that are 10'
@@tbullhalsey My understanding is A 5 foot cast net has a diameter of 10 feet because cast nets are measured by their radius, so a 5 foot radius net will open to a 10 foot diameter when cast. And Ohio says the word "Diameter" . Unless I am understanding it wrong?
@SawltyDawg2009 I think that's right buddy, I guess it threw me off when you said 5' net. I was thinking omg I can't believe I haven't got nailed by DNR yet lol
I've been looking on Amazon for the tape that your using if that's where you bought it from can you give a part number or something to let me know witch tape you got
Yeah I can see if i can add it in the description section.
@mickaburkhart14 ok thanks I saw some tape that would work but sin 🎉 you already know that the tape you used is really sticky that's a plus when it comes to ordering it thanks
@jefflee1952 yeah i just added the link to the description section it's close to the top.
On an 8 ft net how long of a roll of tape will we need?
So can i just ship my net with a crisp $20 and you tape it for me 😂😂
😆 🤣
