    Watch at least 1 of johns videos a day and you will be guaranteed to start a garden someday. I have already started, i'm 21 with no car yet and there is no reason not to start today. I have a house next door to mine that has abandoned for at least 7 years and there is incredibly rich soil atleast 2 inches thick all over the place. Been taking a 5 gallon bucket back and forth for at least a couple weeks just a couple loads a day, as long as you work on it in will turn into something. I started about 5 months ago and have successfully harvested tomatoes, peppers, bush beans, sugar ann snap peas, carrots, lettuce, kale, spinach, squash, cucumber and I am ordering more seeds on ebay almost daily. I live in central florida and so far have a completely organic edible garden thus far thanks to these inspiring videos, there really is no reason not to start today. Crops doing best so far are the Armenian cucumbers & bush beans, it's crazy how much they grow in such a short period of time...I basically enclosed a small rectangle with fallen logs and filled it with incredibly rich naturally occurring compost from next door. You can also stack up some bricks if you have them laying around or if not that just pour some soil on the ground it's better to start now than say you'll start later or when you have extra money..... order some seeds on ebay today, i suggest getting a multi-vegetable seed pack to start with you get over 10,000 seeds for approx $10 free shipping. Also keep watching johns videos to learn more and best things to plant, i've recently ordered kutuk seeds + malbar spinach as well as have been looking into fruit bearing trees and bushes + more rare and perennial edibles. Thanks for everything you do John, if he and I can do it I promise you can do no matter what the circumstances. go outside, look around. start today.

    Health is really the most important thing. When you acknowledge it and "work" in this direction, everything eventually falls into place. You're happier, present and overall, more responsible about what surrounds you. I hope more people find your videos and are inspired to make changes!

    John,
    Awesome video! Props for giving "props" to the Juice Man, Jay Kordich. I grew up juicing as a kid as well. We went to the health food store, following church, and got our organic veggies, vitamins, grass fed beef, honey vanilla ice cream, honey and honey comb, and a plethora of other healthy items. I think I took 15 vitamins a day; unfortunately, the binding agents probably weren't so good, but I can honestly say that I was never sick. My folks were not hippies, but they were followers of Jack La Lane, Gypsie Boots and his garlic, and Yule Gibbins. I played every sport you could imagine, and was never sick...until...I went to nursing school and started eating crap! We all started gaining weight, and getting sick...
    I won't take you through the whole journey, but now I am returning to a healthier life...juicing, cutting back on dairy and meat, exercising, and doing more holistic stuff like essential oils, Tapping, etc.
    I have been traveling since the late 80s for business, and really only started getting the flu after I was forced to take the flu shot for vendor credentialing.
    I have totally used juicing to return to veggies...
    Also, my mom got very ill from an antibiotic reaction...Levaquin...which almost killed her. I have been able to totally turn her around with juice...and she is now pretty healthy and strong at 91 years young.
    I am trying to get off all junk food, but have been struggling...only because the people I am around live on junk, and I have cravings just like others.
    Anyways...great to hear your story...just helping me continue on my journey of fruits and veggies! K

    What first got me into what is good or bad to eat was the book Prof. Arnold Ehret's mucusless-diet healing system back in 1974.

    Inspiring video John. I would like to start a 2 week juice cleanse diet, do you have a video explaining how? Thanks

      +a32 b While I believe juice cleanses can be helpful, I would much rather have people start juicing for breakfast everyday and make it a habit. I see many people go on a juice cleanse, and have amazing results while on the cleanse, and immediately after.. Then many people may get off track and start eating unhealthy again. I do not have videos on this topic.

      Thanks for the quick reply John. I'd like to go on a juice cleanse diet and then as you suggested, juice once a day afterwards. Do you know of any good books or good resources on the web for juice cleansing? Thanks.

    Thanks for all your great videos, John. I would love to know if you provide recipe guides. I looked on your site and I don't believe one was available. I'd like to start making juices that can aid in muscle pain/spams. Would love to get your input as to the vegetables and fruits that can help.

    So sad how Jay has ended up with his health. I guess not matter how good you are to yourself, sometimes you still end up in bad shape.

    How long can you leave juice from a Centrifugal juicer in the refrigerator before it loose it nutritional value or having it go bad?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 лет назад +1

      +whutha How do you define nutritional value? There is nutrition in there provided it has not gone bad. I generally drink my juices right after they are made. I usually dont store them for over 24 hours if I must. Please see
