Dude congrats on finally getting that dem damn Shiny Snorlax man! :D I wish Niantic wouldn't make it so hard to get certain Pokemon Shiny. I went hard on the Dojo Event and did almost 400 something encounters than I heard about Machop Community Day last year and literally told myself I'd never go hard on getting a Shiny in Pokemon Go again, they are just gonna do a Community Day for everything at some point. By the time Shiny Machop Community Day hit I was at well over 500 checks I even checked my PokeDex before I found a Shiny, caught 36 Shiny Machops and had a PVP Shiny Machamp with 0/13/13 IVs and had a 96% IV Shiny Machamp as well... But yeah I deserved that after checking 500+ Machops with no Shiny, and I think only 3 of the Machops were before Shiny Machop got in the game. So it was still over 500 X_X Again good job on the Shiny Snorlax man and hopefully Niantic makes Shiny Snorlax easier to get later or they make Shiny Munchlax a whole lot easier to get :)

It took me three years to finally get a single shiny Dratini. I never gave up and claimed one during the Fairy event. Don't give up! you will get that Rufflet eventually, just like your Snorlax and my Dratini.
